The rooms are fantastic and in a separate building on the river side of the road. It was a very high standard with a large balcony overlooking the Elbe and a short walk to town, views are amazing. We had a very nice meal in the restaurant too and the waitress was very friendly.

First class, it hits the spot in this restaurant. The staff was friendly and the food was outstanding. Thanks for the great Hamburger Schnitzel. This service is outstanding! I unreservedly recommend the hotel and restaurant. We will be back definitely!

The restaurant is first class, highly recommended. The staff courteous and genuinely friendly! Recommendation 100% The hotel room is simple, but totally sufficient. Very clean and cozy. The shower was only noticed negatively as the shower tray is too high and the water regularly gets cold or too hot when many guests shower at the same time. Recommendation 60%

Great hotel. Right on the Elbe slope. The kitchen should definitely be highlighted. Very good dishes prepared and served with a lot of love. I have never been disappointed in culinary terms here. Definitely coming back.

Well organized, owner-run hotel. The breakfast of your choice is served at the table because of Corona, the room was cozy, ours had a balcony that we could use well, a nice large shower and very friendly staff. We would come here again if we go on vacation in Hitzacker again.

Rooms are a matter of taste, look old-fashioned. Lighting still had energy-saving lamps which first had to be warm and then were still too dark. Staff had formal politeness but nothing warm

Customer Oriented !! This is how service has to be, then guests come back several times. Keep it up. The cafe was visited.

The breakfast was good but could be better, Soap supply was rather strange, in my bathroom it was difficult to press sth out of the tube. And only one soap for hands, body and hair. Spa was really nice.

We were there for the bridge weekend. The rooms for us with about 40 people were comfortable, we had a lot of space, the fireplace room offered a private atmosphere. We really liked the evening and breakfast buffet, there was something for everyone, everything was very tasty and lovingly prepared. The service was very friendly and fast, everyone tried very hard. A really nice stay!

Our room is getting old. The mattresses way too soft for us. The dog costs 12€ extra per night. The service is very good and everyone is very friendly. The dog was allowed to have breakfast with us. The buffet was very tasty and rich.

Super friendly people. The building is a bit older but has style. The rooms are very comfortable. Restaurant directly in the hotel. Very rich breakfast. Storage space for bicycles in the garage. Helpful, uncomplicated, we would love to come back here anytime.

Even though the bathroom in the room was reminiscent of the 70s, that was exactly what made it so charming. The room, with a roof terrace, was clean and nice, the reception was very friendly and the breakfast was very good.

Everything perfect! The service was done with so much zest, fun and always with a funny saying and genuine laughter. I have never experienced anything like it. The room 9 is small and fine, new, perfectly adequate and CLEAN. The food is delicious and plentiful. All together highly recommended

Great little bed and breakfast. Somewhat outdated rooms, but very comfortable and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was tasty and overall our stay was enjoyable. As an aside, the hotel was bike-friendly; they had a private garage for overnight storage.

Price / performance ratio fits perfectly. Unfortunately we only had 1 night in this enchanting place. The rooms very clean, very good breakfast. The boss is obviously an FCB fan.

The room was large, well lived up to expectations. The room was clean. The breakfast was paced but ample. The owner was friendly. Good value for money. The bakery, which was located next to the hotel, worked in the night between 3 pm and 6 pm. Rattling carts with products running over the street in the middle of the night made it for me a poor night's sleep.
