Hotels in Marburg

This hotel is a sad place. It has no atmosphere or personal character at all. It is a typical investment hotel, built into a former parking garage, completely impersonal and everywhere looks the same. The price of 140 euros for a small room for one person is far too high. You can get much nicer accommodation for that in the beautiful town of Marburg. Unfortunately, they were all fully booked that weekend

This was the first time I stayed in B&B in Marburg and found the location to be excellent. The staff were very friendly and extremely accommodating to our requests. I would not hesitate to recommend or stay at this hotel again.

Very clean and well-located as it's near everything you'll ever need, the staff can speak multiple languages and the room is comfortable and quiet. The only thing that could be improved is the variety in the breakfast as there weren't that many options.

Very clean rooms, nice location in Marburg and good value for money overall. However, the facility cannot be classified as a hotel since it misses some basic amenities and room accessories that hotels are expected to provide. Indeed, I would classify it as a bed and breakfast or according to North American standards a motel.

A very big thank you to Miriam, Jasmin and Ali, for their professional and very professional customer service. I have now stayed at B&B hotel in Marburg, every month, since August 2021, and I hpr to come again. The hotel is centrally located, which is very convenient. Great central location and wonderfully welcoming staff. The rooms are very modern and clean, I think they have just been refurbished last year. Also: amazing breakfast! When I mentioned I was vegan I was immediately presented with soya milk and even a selection of vegan cheese and breakfast meat options (yes, us Germans even when vegan need our sausages and cold cuts for breakfast). Amazing!

Clean family owned hotel that lies closely to the main station. A bus stop is right in front of the building. Prices are reasonable and the rooms are comfortable.

Had a lovely evening eating here with colleagues. The food was lovely and it was a nice concept to have individual cabins, like eating in a rustic cabin. Great service.

The atmosphere and service at the Restaurant is inviting and comfortable. The food is excellent, specifically the Weiner Schnitzel is the best that I have ever had. I had the pleasure of meeting Konrad who can trace his family to 1600’s and his son now leads the kitchen. If you are in the Marburg area, this is a worthwhile stop for a beer and dinner. Ask for Nina, she provided outstanding service...

What I hoped to see in a German guest house - traditional local food, excellent!

I went there for a 80th birthday of a friend. The food, the drinks and the service was fine and friendly.

I would like to thank to the personnel of Rosenpark for an excellent service and comfort. My stay here was relaxing and renovating. Will come back with pleasure 🤗

Good service and Foods esp very friendly at 360 bar. Easy access to the city on foot. Highly recommend on vacation.

We were in a suite with a view of river, it was neat and clean. The kitchen had utensils to cook something quick. I did not like the twin bed and it was a bit small than usual. Reaching the hotel was easy, there is a restaurant on premises, the morning breakfast had many variety and fresh fruits and drinks. I enjoyed the stay while working.

Location is subjective - it worked for us. 5 stars for our stay, my disabled mother and her husband spent 5 nights at the hotel, and it was fabulous. Staff attentive, helpful and friendly - responding quickly to my mothers complex needs. Nice hotel but our appartment was a big disappointment. Not so spacious as advertised (for family) and no airconditioning in the sleeping room. The temparature in the room was too high for a good night rest. Also, for a family friendly hotel we would have expected a (simple) playground/-corner/-room on the hotel premises.

WORST PILLOWS EVER! For some reason, Germany loves these massive, square pillows. My in-laws (also German) have them as well, and their pillows are bad, but this hotel's pillows take the cake. Even my husband--who's been sleeping on these wacky pillows his entire life--had a terrible sleep due to **his words** "...that terrible pillow." It's a shame, because everything else about the hotel was lovely...

I've had better for less and worse for more. Location is everything with this hotel: you are right in the centre and everything is a short walk away (except the castle of course). There are areas in this hotel that feel quite dated. The rooms are fine, but the air-conditioning couldn't keep up with the heat (and it's not even summer). The breakfast is fine, but nothing special. I don't really understand...

Nice and calm hotel with memorable breakfast buffet. Strategically located close to the train station (it can be reached with a 15 min walk) but also in front of a free public lift comfortably taking into the center of the beautiful old town and speeding up the way to the castle.

Amazing place to stay, right at the gateway to the old city. Across the street is the stairway and elevator that takes you back in time, hundreds of years. The rooms are quite modern with updated furniture. Comfortable and clean bed. The staff was great, and the price was worth it. Will stay again!

Spent a weekend at the Welcome Hotel. Clean hotel and room, good Corona-measures - really felt safe. Friendly service, esp. at breakfast.

Great location! Short walk to the square, shops and restaurants and Elisabethkirche is right out the front door. Loved our room and deck. The restaurant was also good. On site parking was a plus but spots are limited. We'll be back

Nice hotel wifi is a bit finicky not super stable in its performance. Breakfast is really nice and well presented. Only thing that bothered was the false fire alarm at 22.30 but I guess it was a one off.

Was nothing inside the room but you can ask for it at reception table. I had to ask for water boiler and tooth brush, there's no amenities to be seen in bathroom. Room itself was clean, staff was very friendly. Idk if the street can be loud or not during normal time because during my stay it was quiet. I only stay for 1 night

The place was ok but they only had one baby bed (cot) but no mattress. Would not recommend for a family with young baby unless they invest in more suitable facilities.

Amazing hotel. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. The restaurant has excellent food made from local produce. There are also multiple parking spaces for your vehicle. Overall an excellent experience.

Nice family owned hotel. Really genuine feel. Open and relaxed. It's the small things that count. Staff saying hello everytime you walk by, housekeeping checking to see if everything is ok. Complimentary mini bar, snacks and communal espresso machine in the mezzanine area.

Great small hotel with really fair prices. Minibar included in all rooms. The breakfast buffet was fresh and wholesome. Definitely a recommendation, if you are in the Marburg area. If you want to get to town cheap, oder a Sparcar

It's a nice hotel but the restaurant isn't open at the hours that I really want. It's cheap and easy to get to Marburg in there morning but not back at night. Otherwise a really nice place.

The position, though in an industrial area, is practical because of easy access to buses into the centre of town. Walking to town along the river is attractive (about 30 mins easy walk). Breakfast is fine and the breakfast room nice. Our suite was good, but it is important to know that access to the bed is via a spiral staircase.

Poor location, walking distance 3kms from historic centre. Fine by day but doesn't feel safe at night. Price is high for the location. Bad pillows. Very good breakfast.

This is a great little hotel. Room was small but well designed. Staff was friendly and competent. Breakfast was great. So why only 3 stars? The location seemed safe but charmless. This gem of a hotel is set in an area of warehouses and light industry. It is a fine choice for a one night stop but we wouldn't recommend a long stay.

Stayed here 2 times for personal affairs in Marburg. The rooms are clean and cozy furnished, but can be a bit noisy sometimes. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful, making your stay truly pleasant. I stayed in the hotel and had dinner. The best food I have had in Marburg, and that is saying a lot! Wonderful flavors and choices. The wine, service and dessert are all fantastic. Hotel was ok, clean and comfortable. You have your own bath and toilet but you have to get out of your room to use it. The breakfast was pretty basic and the staff were very attentive and friendly.

Its a family maintained hotel. Rooms are good but far from town/city. Its located at valley and without a vehicle, cant commute anywhere.

Quaint and quiet little hotel idyllicly located in a small village outside Marburg. The restaurant is great, and the owners who run the day to day service are very friendly and accommodating! The breakfast buffet is very good! And when they say fresh honey, they bring in the actual honeycomb from the hive!

We looked all over Marburg for a hotel room with a truck parking lot, only at Hotel Mar it was possible, everything was so perfect, very clean and very pleasant. Definitely recommended 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Impeccable cleanliness, the structure is new and excellent not to mention the hotel manager who is an exquisite person. A few minutes from the center of Marburg and with a very quiet position surrounded by nature where you can breathe the peaceful air for a holiday.

The small hotel is brand new and very tastefully designed. The booking was uncomplicated, the handling very friendly. Everything was very clean. I will gladly come again.

Overall, I am very satisfied. The room and common areas (toilet, shower) were kept perfectly clean. The hotel is located a short walk from the picturesque center of Marburg, shops and restaurants are within convenient distance.
