Interesting clean and near tourist attrations. The hotel does not have an iron and a party precluded us from eating there. No elevator.

This is a family run hotel and the staff are lovely. We have stayed at this hotel twice whilst travelling between Strasburg (France) and Hamburg (Germany). You are met by Sherona on the front desk and she is very pleasant to deal with. There are no evening meals, however, there is a very good restaurant within a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Breakfast is basic with scrambled egg and hard boiled eggs...

Good overnight hotel on the way south. The hotel is nice, but the rooms are a bit dark. Everything is super clean. Good breakfast. The hotel has a Yugoslavian restaurant 500 meters from the hotel with good beer and huge portions.

Transit Overnight stay on transit. Bed linen clean, torn bath towels, dust mites on the floor, bathroom could use a facelift. Breakfast decent though considering the price of the room

Nothing special about the hotel, the rooms are quite comfortable and it is quite cheap for the area, positive experience overall.

Although they are very friendly, and everything is clean, there is a lot of noise in the rooms and the heating is not enough. It needs some improvements in this regard. The price is good and it is in a good place to visit the city, take a train or just passing through.

It's a good place for family, i recommend it near to the town.

Reasonably priced, old hotel with steep steps. Nice and spacious rooms. Noise from the nearby railroad and traffic noise. Simple but fine breakfast. Close to the old city with all the beautiful houses and the river with the old bridge.

We stayed here traveling by car through Germany and decided to find a nice place on the countryside to spend the night, and did we? Breakfast was excellent, everything you need and a little bit more including fresh cherries and strawberries from their own garden. The couple the runs the place are very kind and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Motel room is small but it is clean, have a lot of parking space, bed is good,pleasant receptionist. It's good for sleepover under a long drive.

Giving the hotel 5 Stars because everything in their control is as you would hope. Unfortunately at the time of our booking there was a lot of construction taking place in the area which removed access to the hotel and left them with no parking on the day hello is totally out of their control and obviously a great amount of Inconvenience for all the staff at the hotel as well as guests. Surprisingly good place to stay and breakfast for 5€ per person is a no brainier.

Clean, affordable and modernized rooms including free parking right in front of the building. Breakfast was heavenly great, they even got a WMF coffee machine. Warm-hearted and courteous staff. Recommend it to anybody who’s okay with an occasionally noisy location regarding the closeness to the Autobahn and the gas station. I enjoyed my stay a lot though.

Clean hotel and close to the highway and coffee shops

We needed to take a stopover on a longer drive and this was the perfect hotel with a small kid for a reasonable price. The rooms were exceptionally clean with all the basics and a comfy bed (baby bed was offered but we did not need it). Late checking can be arranged with the gas station directly and there's a charging station for e-vehicles. There's a small playground and a simple but clean restaurant...

Spontaneously drove off the Autobahn at 11:30 p.m. because we were too tired to continue driving. There were four of us (2 adults/2 children). Best hotel I have ever visited. It was simply amazing. I arrived at 3:33 AM. The Check-in machine worked. It was simply amazing. I decided to also talk to the receptionist. Im pretty sure he was billingual. He spoke english but also a bunch of others. He was also open to help me with whatever questions and/or concerns I had. I will definetely be coming back. Wow

Very nice hotel, close to the Autobahn, short time between trips in and out of Kassel's centre. The employees are very helpful and there is a big parking lot in the back. The area is quiet. Second time staying at the hotel and very likely to return.

Absolutely top in the region. Mr. Manfred Bonn takes care of the guests themselves when time allows. The rooms are furnished in the most modern standard, so everyone feels comfortable and satisfied. The breakfast buffet leaves almost nothing to be desired ... the food is absolutely great. I have arranged an event there myself ... all participants were to the complete satisfaction ... the staff is friendly...

Friendly family owned hotel. We came to the bar, and the owner came to talk to us;, suggesting good beer from the region. Room are fine size for a 2-3 business trip. Nothing special, just fine. Breakfast is fine. OK. Good. Restaurant very good, with local beer. Food is very well prepared. Even salad gives you enough enery. Well portion. Parking in the hotel and just across the street.

Although we made arrangements for our keys to be left in a small safe at the entrance, the staff were still up and about at 11.30pm and happy to serve us at reception and the bar. Best hotel I‘ve went to. The staff is super nice and helps you anytime. And the food... the food is so good. I’ve never been so full in my life. If you’ll eat there (wich you should), you’ll be so full that you’ll probably only finish one meal.

The restaurant was closed for our stay. We were housed in what seems like the annex. There was no bar either. We had to get a taxi to eat. Convenient parking was plentiful. The service was not so good as reception proved to be a little unhelpful.

Fairytale in Kassel The Hotel Gude is located just outside the fairytale district and right next to the tram. Perfect starting point for a visit to the Documenta ... or to take the two walks designed by the hotel manager. Room, staff and breakfast perfect 👌

We were at the documenta in Kassel and again at the Hotel Gude. A nice service is the arrangement with admission tickets, so you don't have to worry about anything. This is a really modern day hotel where you can spend a night or more if need be. The hotel offers 24/7 check in (and out) and has an early breakfast available. Every room gets a bottle of mineral water you can get at the reception hall. Every person gets a room key card. The rooms are divided into three three-story buildings. There are also suites available. Everything is very clean and well organized...

For a 3 star hotel it really is on the upper level. The rooms are not brand new but all clean, so are the bathrooms. The beds are a bit squeaky but not uncomfortable. Breakfast is solid and offers all an average person might want. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. My four stars don't make it a 4 star hotel but a good 3 star hotel.

We stayed here last week of June ( 3 nights ,me and my wife) , in Kassel for Documenta , we loved this hotel , lets note that the hotel is under construction , expansion , adding floors and new entrance , new dinning area , etc . But this in no way affected our stay , quiet , great beds , we suggest a room on the street side for now . Staff very welcoming and friendly , nice temporary breakfast service...

We enjoyed our stay a lot. Clean rooms. And good breakfast as well!!!! There is also a big Shopping mall 5 min away from the hotel.

Got there last minute so does the job. Clean room and good bathroom facilities. Off road parking. Cold meat and cheese buffet with cereal and hot drinks for breakfast. We paid 70 euro on Friday before Christmas. Which was reasonable. 66 without breakfast.

Convenient location with mall across the street. Fabulous restaurant Lavastein next door. The hotel very clean and ownership very nice and professional. Great atmosphere with breakfast buffet. Comfortable surroundings. Stay a day or a week like we did and leave like family.
