Excellent service and a really good breakfast. Rooms are simple but need a renovation. Old fashioned fittings, especially in the bathroom, and carpet in the bedroom. Bed very good.

The hotel is ideally located for exploring Naumburg. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is varied and rich. There is a slight deduction for the room furnishings, which only offer a chair or a bed for an evening stay. Be sure to listen to the directions at reception. Some rooms are extremely poorly signposted. But the view makes up for it.

A romantic hotel right in the old town. Check-in possible at any time. The reception is always staffed. We had a double room (beds are together). A nice room that offers everything. No room safe or minibar. But 2 bottles of water. Unfortunately, Lindenallee is a main street with cobblestones. We couldn't sleep with the window open at night. The room was very nice and spacious; sparkling clean and nice decor. I had trouble finding my room but the desk clerk was very helpful. The room key was required to call the elevator. Somewhat complicated when a regular metal key is used and little instructions at the lift. The breakfasts were excellent and plentiful—possibly the best feature of this hotel. My biggest gripe was the Internet service...

A very good hotel in a very good location for a short visit to Naumburg. Breakfast is great. Unfortunately, you can no longer use the lobby card offers after 9 p.m. and there is nothing left to drink. But that's the only downer. Recommended!

We received a very friendly welcome at this hotel. The rooms are modern and above all very clean. Of course you have road traffic if you want to be centrally located. But you can't hear anything when the windows are closed. From the hotel you can quickly reach the city and the cathedral. The breakfast was very tasty. I loved my stay here for 10 Days. Their service was warm, and the food super. Only wished they had a swimming Pool though. Great place for large groups. Very spacious.

It's a pretty simple place, nothing fancy. There is a wide selection of entertainment also for kids.

The best especially if you travel by train, you can see the hotel right at the exit..Around the hotel there are stores like Aldi, Deichmann, DM....no need to go anywhere far on a rest day....short walk to the Dom, the Nietzche haus, and the Christmas market....The hotel itself is lovely and clean. Excellent hotel, spacious rooms, free parking. They have their own beer garden and a small playground for children. As the hotel is an old factory-style building built into a hillside, the hotel comes with some staircases and uphill walking before you arrive in your room. People with wheelchair should probably better contact the hotel in advance.

Only reviewing the restaurant/beer garden not the hotel. Nicely located between two bike paths with a spacious and comfortable beer garden despite its proximity to the road. Drink selection is all right with a moderate selection of local wines. Prices are steep even for a 'tourist trap' and at least for the burger it doesn't deliver on the quality the 'black Angus beef' and the 15 Euros promise - if...

Very tasty food, easily accessible by bike and very suitable for anglers. Overnight stay clean, the rooms are all set up on a motto, for example. The Goethe room or something similar, very tasteful.

Was OK. There were 7 of us there and the entire terrace was empty but it was clearly too much for the staff to put tables 3 steps down so that we could see our bikes. There was nothing to complain about the food plentiful for a good price.

Not cheap, but good... Great service, great ambience. But the price can't go up anymore... 2 pieces of sheet cake 7.80 euros... 1 beer, 1 wine, 2 bratwursts just under 25 euros. Great camp, great view over the vineyards. We were there at Easter. Nice staff, all seats in the dining room and next door are occupied. We weren't that enthusiastic about the food. But that's a matter of taste. There is also a terrace where you can sit well.

The room was freshly renovated and featured air-conditioning!!!! Big plus in German hotels. The hotel features a restaurant with typically German cuisine and a decent selection of local wines at affordable rates. Breakfast was nice and gluten free bread was available upon pre-order.

The hotel is brand new, minimalist with a wine flavour, spotless and with a very polite stuff.

The rooms are neat and clean, the breakfast buffet is very extensive. There is a central minibar for the whole hotel and free WiFi. The location is good and there are a few restaurants within walking distance. Unfortunately, many trucks also drive through the town at night, which is why you can only sleep with the windows closed

We (four befriended couples) spent here a weekend. Already at the arrival we were received very friendly. The entire weekend we were looked after by Mr Sander, as well. The rooms were very large and modern. The Breakfast buffet was very satisfactory. Only the Meats could use a little more variety. The only drawback was that we were able to have dinner. However, Frey offers castle a sufficient alternative...

This is an older hotel right downtown. Rooms are ok with separate seating area and TV and larger bathroom. Breakfast was good too. You have to look for parking spaces in the side streets, but you will find them quickly.

The hotel is located right beside a main road so expect heavy road noise. The staff was very polite, but the WiFi was unstable and slow.

We ended up here by coincidence when we were passing through. Booked a family room and everything was amazing, the dinner, the breakfast, the room! But really, this hotel had received the highest score from me only because of the fragrant soap. Everything else is just a bonus! We would love to come back!

This is a very unique Italian restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. The owners are wonderful people to begin with, that gave that place a lot of charm. The food is a lavish travel through the Italian cuisine and the quality is perfect. Did I mention that they have a great selection of vines and that you need to try their espresso, after all? This was my second time as a guest, but due to the disappointment this time it will definitely be the last time. If you are dependent on a socket directly by the bed, you should clarify this at the beginning. However, upon request I was helped with an extension cord. The billing, the check-out was a disaster (but it was not due to the staff present). Breakfast is okay despite everything.

Good hotel, friendly staff. Big average rooms. A bit expensive for the average level, I missed a fridge in the room and some items at breakfast (very limited choice of 1 pastries). No free parking. Nice location, but rather ask for a room at the back to avoid noise from train.

8/10 The hotel is a little old. The cleaning was very good, but there were cobwebs outside as if the windows had not been opened for a long time. The pillows are so soft that you can only sleep with two of them.

Good location for my purposes. Starts to show its age, there is wear and tear everywhere. There are no power sockets next to beds for charging and also the desk does not have sockets for computer. Minibar was loaded, which is also not so fashionable any more. Breakfast is still as good as always.

Comfortable hotel, one of the best with character in the region. Fitness center much lower than Radisson’s standard. Staff is friendly and open to provide suggestions. There is marginal difference between parking in the front terrace and the parking lot. Water in the room could have been complimentary.

We stayed one night. The hotel is located in Merseburg, an ancient city situated on the Saale River and within a short drive from Halle and Leipzig. Partly covered parking may be available behind the hotel at EUR 13/night, however spaces are limited and we were lucky to get one of the last remaining spaces. We chose the hotel based on a previous stay in 2021. Unfortunately no Business Class Room...

The rooms seem a bit dated, the staff is super friendly (we got a great restaurant tip), and of course the location is great. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Without air conditioning, the rooms cannot be kept at an acceptable temperature during the day in midsummer.

Everything is nice and clean, the breakfast is delicious, but the pillows need to be replaced. Also more English channel would be great on the TV. The drawbacks are: the lack of parking places, no air conditioning in my room while the partying hordes are very loud in the park at night in front of the hotel.

The family room was spacious and clean, and had a TV. The breakfast was solid but not extraordinary. The location is outside of the city centre but walkable.

I stayed overnight in Jena in this B&B Hotel. The hotel was easy to reach and the parking lot had lots of space. The check-In via the terminal was easy. An online prior to arrival check-in was suggested (and i did those in a different B&B hotel), but i wanted to try the terminal option. Beautiful renovated castle hidden in the middle of nowhere. Transpiring hundreds of years of history in a very quiet and serene setting in the green. We had a delicious gourmet dinner that could easily have been served in a top Parisian restaurant.

This hotel is situated in a really nice, old castle with 2m-thick walls, quite rooms, a nice park. It's closeness to Halle makes it ideal as a quiet weekend getaway location there. The rooms are clean and spacious and the breakfast was quite nice too. A definite recommendation!

I stayed for one night with a native speaker. The staff were very friendly, and we liked the room and the hotel, which is unique, at least for my limited experience of German accommodation. The only reason that I'm giving it 3 instead of 5, is that we were told that dinner will include a drink, but were charged for it when we checked out. Old castle. Very nice. Good breakfast and dinner. Great atmosphere. No air conditioning in the room so had to open windows but that was noisy due to trains and a nearby airport.

My wife and I spent two nights at the hotel while attending a conference. Our room was elegant and comfortable (and equipped with a great balcony) and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel had inexpensive paid parking that allows you to come and go at your convenience. Next time I am in Jena, I will definitely stay here again.

Fine but lacking good service hours. The place is fine for a short stay. There is no service on Sundays or late in the evening, making it a bit odd to stay there then. They didn't bother cleaning the room as a result.

I stayed at this hotel during my business visit around Christmas time. Visited Christmas market nearby. The view from the hotel room was amazing. Room is quite modern with all the latest gadgets and electrical control of ambience light and blinds. Staff was friendly at reception and at the terrace bar. This is probably the Best hotel in Jena.
