Excellent hotel and a super friendly host family =) The rooms in the Gästehaus Strandstrasse are wonderful, very well-kept, clean and comfortable, the beach is only a few meters away, and the location is just perfect, including the ferry. The large breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired, we felt very comfortable and would be very happy to come back =).

Highly recommended in every way. Large, very clean, good beds, great breakfast, very nice, friendly people. Always my pleasure.

We are really thrilled! The service is great - staff very friendly, room tippitoppi, breakfast mega. And all just a stone's throw behind the dike. We will definitely be back!

This hotel is nice, clean new interior and the rooms are good, but the prices are too high, over 340 euros for one night?! Plus that doesn’t include breakfast. Breakfast is listed as 16.50 euros but in fact it’s 27!!! It’s nice but 27 is far too expensive. Added with some rude “that’s not my problem” style staff and you end up with the review rating above. Shame… I’d stay again but not touch breakfast...

Great hotel, friendly and very helpful staff, and great Spa area on the 7th floor with an awesome view. Great break fast and very nice, cozy, and large rooms. For business travelers later check in times would be nice.

Lovely room overlooking the sea complete with a sofa to relax on. Absolutely superb breakfast buffet and the cappuccino was first class. Small but sufficient sauna area including an infinity pool on the 6th floor. Highly recommended for a small wellness break if you are looking for some sea air.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious and the hotel was very clean. The pools and gym were great. It was a successful week at the Fährhaus.

This hotel is highly recommended for its location and facilities. I would like to highlight the very friendly staff. (Restaurant manager, service and reception, housekeeping). The food is very good, the kitchen knows its business. The breakfast buffet also leaves much to be desired. Simply put, "everything is perfect". We will be back.

We visited the cocktail bar. Higher standard, but so were the prices. Everything is suitable for the service and atmosphere. Everything was clean, the staff, first of all, human, and also very friendly. There is a compartment for smokers, which is also not available everywhere.

Rooms were large and modern, but above all I enjoyed the restaurant which had excellent food.

Stayed here on bussiness nice clean friendly hotel The manager is more than accommodating getting you breakfast and coffee ready for a time that suits you and nothing is too much we had a car accident before arrival so needed to get a few cabs the manager was more than happy to help due to the language barrier with ! Rooms are meticulously cleaned every morning Would not hesitate in recommending...

Older building, older rooms with carpeted floors and low ceilings, steep stairs up to the rooms, no reception (keys are in the safe). breakfast good. Cleanliness good, therefore absolutely okay for 1 night due to the relatively low price. I wouldn't recommend it for a whole vacation though.

Special attention was paid to the cleanliness and the sumptuous breakfast. Rooms are small and a bit noisy. Nothing to complain about for the price though. What particularly caught my eye is that you get a code for a key box and can therefore arrive whenever you want. Norddeich.. Bad experience.. Greetsiel..everything easily accessible. I liked it and I would love to come back.

Fantastically beautiful very large apartment! Perfect for people with restricted mobility !!! We spent 9 wonderful days here and are still overwhelmed by how beautiful it was there. We will come back for sure !!!

Beautiful apartments, which are beautifully and tastefully decorated. We felt very comfortable! Our little daughter didn't want to leave!

Good location, very friendly and helpful staff, I especially enjoyed the backyard area that was nice and cool and quiet. Unfortinatley there is no AC and when we were there it was very hot. Heat is usually not a problem in that area so it is understandable that no AC is built in but it was borderline unbearable for 3 days. -The beds are okay, I did not like the pillows at all. -Bathrooms are nice....

We are overwhelmed. A pearl on the North Sea coast! We recommend. Beautiful design, clean, good service, spacious apartments. Too bad we only had two nights there

Very nice apartments, recently renovated, I did however have to shower in the dark as there was no curtains and my bathroom faced the marketplace, seeing my body would have put anyone off buying food! 😁
