We stayed here for 3 nights, the staff here are friendly and the location is close to everything too.

The rooms are nice and spacious. Location is good and the food you can get in the restaurant is great. Only downside for me are the beds are not great but not so bad you can't sleep at all.

Overall a very quiet place in the center of Haren. You can enjoy the nature just a few minutes away from it. Friendly and helpful stuff. Everything was great, except the fact you have no fridge or iron in the rooms.

Modern, very well equipped room. Bed linen and bed nicely arranged in terms of color. Huge flat screen. High quality bathroom. The staff: super nice and committed inside. The restaurant with a manageable menu and very tasty dishes. Here you get full. Great extensive breakfast.

The various dishes tasted very good and were also well presented. We also had a pasta dish which tasted very good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely visit the restaurant again.

I was there for now 2 times. Hotel is very nice and freshly renovated. Rooms are spacious and well decorated. Everything is clean and in good condition. Breakfast is fantastic, there is a lot to try. Restaurant serves quality food and portions are quite big.

A beautiful classical farm house in typical Northern Germany architecture, a must for golf enthusiasts.

Excellent golf course that is challenging yet fun. Very pretty as well, especially the back 9. 18 is the so called signature hole, and one that everyone sitting at the pretty restaurant will watch. Pascal the pro is always a treat even just to have a conversation with. All in all a great club.

VERY POSITIVE: very much enjoyed the two days spent at Gut Düneburg. A beautiful, interesting, well-kept 18 holes golf course, both challenging and forgiving at times. Excellent room, bed and bathroom, friendly staff and excellent food. No negatives!

We had an amazing meal ! I choose the “zanderfilet “ which the staff was so friendly to serve them with grilled tomatoes…and my friend enjoyed his lovely steak ! The service was good , fast and friendly ! The terrace is a nice place to chill , enjoy the drinks or food

Stayed here for a night. We had a room on the first floor, luckily I only had a carry on because they do not have elevator which was not a big deal for me but if you have a lot of luggage it could be a problem. The room was very basic. There were no facilities such as a kettle or any mini fridge. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was ok. Slept really well because of the blockout curtains. We...

Quite nice big place, although full of contrasts- as if they weren't able to decide for old or modern style. Room was spacious, however, it smelled little bit old despite the modern furniture. What I also don't understand is a massive bathroom with only a tiny shower. Staff is super friendly though and breakfast was pretty good. Arrival is confusing since they have no Parking signs from the street

We really liked the room, it had a very luxurious bathroom with a very nice and good working sauna. The breakfast was very good, all fresh and lot's of choice.

Great hotel in the meppen area. It is family-owned and has a great breakfast. Spend a few nights at the bar with friends downstairs and they told me the restaurant there was good as well. Very close to the town center and the staff is super friendly. It seems to be the only place I stay when I'm in Meppen

If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay in Meppen, don't have a second thought. A well maintained hotel with a tinge of antiquity. The service is also commentable. The main market is also nearby.

This was the best hotel/ restaurant of our entire trip to Europe. Incredible room, huge and delicious breakfast buffet, we were spoiled because it came pn the first night of our trip!

A beautiful situated and very modern but still cozy hotel. As you can read in other reviews as well: the hotel offers an impressive breakfast. And as cherry on the cake a very friendly and hospitable hotel staff. A must stay when visiting the region.

Very nice and tidy hotel, located in a quiet central area. Good breakfast and comfy bed 👍☺️ Few down sides: average internet connection ( keeps on cutting off ) and and average noise isolation ( stayed on the first floor , could hear guest talking in the recp.)

This is a great little restaurant in downtown meppen. super friendly staff and there were 10 of us that got in with no problem. Seems to be fairly authentic local cuisine with very good flavor. This is my second time to this restaurant and I will be back again.

Wunderbar! Great service, with excellent cooking and ingredients. You shouldn't by no means lose their "Rumpsteak aus Uruguay". Simply perfect. I do also recommend their "Grosse Grillplatte nach Art des Hauses", for three people at least.

Went there with a group of 8 from US. This place was awesome! The people were all very friendly The food was the best on our 5 city tour. It is a great little town to visit.

Surprising good restaurant for super good pricing. We ended up here from Groningen, didn't expect much but were happy surprised with a creative dish for super good price. Buckwheat Blini (pancake) with fresh Norwegian Lacks and cream cheese and salade for about 10 euro's. You will not find this where we live ;~)

Friendly staff. Great location, 3 min walk from centrum. Rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are simply good to great. A visit to the sauna is included. The hotel restaurant even has a Michelin recommendation. The breakfast is very good and the time frame for breakfast especially in the weekend is very relaxed. Advise aside, if you want to enjoy a diner in one of the center restaurant make a reservation...

Perfect stay - good breakfast, friendly staff even though we dropped in late in the evening with mud from top til toe after riding on our bikes the entire day.

Very tasty, very friendly staff, definitely good value and fresh. The staff acts quickly and you are served quickly and the food comes fresh to the table accordingly. There are also many possibilities for celebrations such as a large hall and a bowling alley. There is also a beer garden and plenty of seating either outside or inside (even right at the bar), always with a nice atmosphere.

Great and quiet location. Excellent for quick stop over even for families.

All 3 stars for hotel. Spacious room with balcony. Nice and clean. Restaurant side service is not satisfactory at all. Asked for a country beer while having appetizer and till I finish my main course, asked for it 5 times but didn't get any. Had to finish meal without any drinks. Food taste is ok.

t was a 3 nights stay . Our room was clean and large . The Staff was friendly . Breakfast was good. Restaurant for dinner was excellent . WiFi was Good. We got more we wanted according the conditions :-) Good location to explore EmsLand if U are by car . I would not hesitate to book again

Very nice hotel in a quiet location. The breakfast was very good and beautifully presented. The service was very friendly. It is easy to reach and well located. All in all, a highly recommended hotel with a very good price-performance ratio.

First of all I would like to mention very tasty breakfasts with a variety of dishes and snacks… During the ten days of my staying in the hotel I was never disappointed with quality of products. Thank You a lot for such delicious food☺️ 🤤 Rooms are clean and quite comfortable. There is also enough space for storage luggage and all things 🤗

This is a great little hotel, in quite a good location. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the food was very good and the rate was very reasonable. The staff were all very welcoming, and were only too happy to help! If and when I am back in Papenburg, I would happily stay here again!

Lovely large rooms, Best Breakfast

Made my booking directly on the hotel's website whilst still in England and was able to make a reservation for the Meyer Werft tour at the same time. I was aiming to arrive mid-evening on the Sunday after travelling from London via Eurostar and onward by train. Unfortunately, on arrival in Brussels, I found my connecting train to Köln had been cancelled, which had the cumulative effect of my not arriving...

Nice hotel and location. Usual breakfast options (No fresh juices or waffels etc though.!) The guy sitting at reception seemed least interested in being welcoming.

I’ve been touring Germany for three years now. This place has the best breakfast buffet, period. Staff is super nice, everything here screams “come back soon”.

Small village hotel, older establishment that has been very well maintained, restrooms updated with great materials, beds very comfortable, breakfast is yummy in the morning, and the employees were very kind. The employees will make cute cappuccino’s for you in the morning if you ask. Very excited to stay her again! Walking distance to many restaurants and the canal!

Good. Nice garden outside I just stayed one night. I had a nice stay. I really liked the garden with tables outside where you can sit and also bring your own food if you want. Only drawback I could notice is that no fridge was available in the room.
