We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was spotlessly clean. The team is warm, attentive, and creates a family atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. The food was fantastic—freshly prepared, delicious, and cooked with palpable passion. Our stay was absolutely wonderful, and we're already looking forward to our next time!

We stayed at the hotel over the weekend and were completely satisfied with everything... No matter whether it was the room, breakfast or the service... Very nice hosts. That's why I can't understand some of the bad reviews at all... If you look at others Treated the way you would like it to be treated yourself, there are no problems.... We will definitely be guests there again.

The three of us came completely wet and dirty from a mountain bike tour. We would still be offered a place independently. The hostess? showed us a room where we could change. During our meal, which was very tasty, our things were briefly washed and dried. SUPER SERVICE. Here, hospitality and service is not just a job but a calling. We'll come back when we're nearby.

Nice coffee and cake. Sits outside directly at a busy road. This disturbs the conversation sometimes.

I had mad dinner there and it was good. Normal price range and nice food. You get awesome portions of vegetables to your meal.

For a cheap money you pay, you get to stay in a nice, very clean hotel. It's old stylish but still nice for a stay. Has a small pool which can be used also in the night, as well as sauna...

Pork schnitzel was very good and staff were friendly

Great food and a nice clean restaurant. Ate outside and enjoyed the company. Really good food and friendly staff. Tomato soup and goulash are two items you have to order. Schnitzel has awesome flavor and is tender enough to cut with a fork. Good bier selection. Have a few while u eat then head around and explore the area afterwards.

Very nice stay at Gasthof Hecht, warm welcome, nice bedroom and very good breakfast. The only thing is that the English version of the website shows an incorrect price of €38 per person and it is actually €44-48. I hope this will be corrected quickly since a 20% price difference to what is advertised is not a pleasant surprise.

Very good hotel in the beautiful black forest landscape. Very nice rooms and very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. I've been there on a business trip but I will come back on holiday next time. Restaurant with very high quality food. Very kind staff.

Very nice and cosy restaurant. We had diner and it was amazing. The quality of the food is very good. Also the red Italian bio wine is wonderfull. If you are in the neighbourhood you should try this restaurant. The hotel also looks good, but we didn't stay thé night. Very friendly staff and wonderfull location.

We enjoyed our stay at Kirnbacher Hof. It's a luxurious stay with spa and dine facilities. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Dining was also great! I tried the Tuna main course and it was delicious. This place is roughly about 30 mins drive to Triberg and about 1 hour drive to Freiburg. Awesome little hotel, far away from the crowds. A true hideaway and if you want you are not reachable due to the missing GSM network. But no worries, the hotel team has a trick it still works. We will sure come back.

I really enjoyed staying here but I didn’t quite feel like I got my money’s worth. If you go make sure you check the hours of the restaurant and amenities. Also the wifi doesn’t work very well.

Beautiful hotel, family room very spacious and large bathroom perfect for travelling with teenagers. Both pools heated and quiet. Restaurant food delicious but quite expensive. Breakfast had excellent choice. Staying in this hotel and enjoying the spa was a dream. The location is very idyllic, surrounded by beautiful nature in a very quiet environment. All the areas invite you to relax. The diner was perfect and the breakfast offered lots of choice.

Stayed here for a mid-week trip to the black forest. Hotel is easy to find, clean and the staff are very friendly. Room was spacious, with the sound of a small stream and a nearby church completing the experience. Would stay here again.

Very nice location. Beautiful scenery. Very kind and helpful hosts Rooms are spacious. Beds and pillows a little uncomfortable. Only shampoo, hand wash and hairdryer available in bathrooms. Room clean available on demand only as well as new towels. No air conditioning but wasn’t needed during our stay in august. All in all a good experience. Thank you

Lovely hotel We stayed at the hotel for a night, really enjoyed the area around the hotel, saw some deers. The owner was very friendly. We had a lovely meat and cheese platters for dinner.

A very clean, comfortable and quiet place to stay in the countryside. The host was friendly and breakfast was good. From here you have direct access to wonderful hikes, and the lovely town of Wolfach is just 8 minutes away by car (worth a visit).

We have here a schnitzel with French fries eaten. The schnitzel was a bit too greasy for us (a lot of butter / fat used).

We went here to eat a schnitzel. The meat was prepared using a lot of butter, dripping out of the food, so wasn't my favorite.

Nice welcome, super nice and loving guesthouse owners, parking lot in front of the door, super nice, clean room, nice view from the balcony, really great breakfast, where thought was given, everything very familiar and friendly. Rosi is incredibly sweet and helpful. She has been hosting guests at “Haus Rose” for almost 60 years. Her husband Alfred is a well known carpenter and beekeeper in the region. A very familiar hotel. From the maids to the service staff and of course the hosts themselves, very friendly and courteous. The food is a pleasure every day. The full body massage was very relaxing. The wellness area is also very nicely decorated. However, for many guests, it was rather too small. It also gets very noisy in the restaurants when groups arrive.
