Lovely hotel on the picturesque island of Ruegen
Excellent hotel with comfortable bed and plentiful breakfast. I did not use the balcony due to the weather. Guests have use of the sauna and swimming pool at the nearby VNU Hotel (at the top of the hill) for EUR15. This under repair on the first night but I did use it on the 2nd night, they do ask you to wear flip flops or other bathing shoes. The hotel is handy for the REWE supermarket and shops. The Rasender Roland steam railway station is about 15 minutes walk away uphill but there is also a funicular railway. This railway was the main reason for my visit. The station restaurant is very good for meals. I had a day out in Binz which has plenty of shops and nice walks along the beach, also a larger REWE supermarket.

I really liked the modern room, very good WiFi, good TV, balcony, bathroom from Duravit. I recommend booking breakfast.
I didn't like the permanently running water in the toilet. There were certainly 4 liters per minute running through - so 5760 liters per day! I didn't feel good about supporting such a waste.

It was very nice, the room was neat and newly furnished, our room had a sea view. The bathroom was clean and modern.
The breakfast buffet was sufficient and delicious, there was something for everyone. The staff were all very nice.

Very good breakfast. The rooms are very clean and large and the view of the Baltic Sea is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful and considerate. The good location is another plus. We would love to come back
