Not a real 4,5* star hotel if you can get a room with connecting doors to adjacent room with a little baby crying through the night… In general you feel more like in a holiday resort which may be finw but keep it in mind. Breakfast really great but can be crowded and noisy. Quite far from the beach and difficult access, however great views and location on the (steep!) hill with sea on both sides. ...

The hotel was good and comfortable, but the whole experience wasn’t great, check-in was late. The breakfast was nice, but very crowded and one time we could not find a place, given that we were with our baby. The room was small, due to that I found the whole experience kinda not matching to the price.

My wife and I recently stayed at Vju Hotel Rügen, and our experience had its positives and negatives. The hotel room impressed us with its modernity, cleanliness, and spaciousness, and the added convenience of a kitchenette was a nice touch. The breakfast spread was diverse and enjoyable. However, it's worth noting that the hotel's location was a bit distant from the beach, which was a minor drawback...

When you book this place make sure you book yourself a water view room. The dinner option was and is worth the money - delicious! The rooms are pretty and you can order from their pillow selection for better comfort. The only downside was that the pool was ice cold and people had some BJ FUN in the sauna.

Now it is VJU hotel, but everything is allmost perfect ;) Room, clean, service, garage for bikes, restaurant, parking, breakfest, view from tower, stuff. Hotel is on the hill, but small walk to the beach was useful. Thanks, we have a nice holiday!

Good breakfast with local products (sea buckthorn) which charmed us, swimming pool open all year round, good location. A nice gesture at the end in the gift (water and bread).

Stayed twice already, great breakfast, good room service,clean, good access direct to the beach and to the Nordped forest. Great view from seaview room! A very charming resort in Göhren.

Staff was mostly friendly. The ad said most rooms have a balcony. But when we arrived, in order to have a room with a balcony we had to pay 150 extra. Not okay. The pool was too cold to enjoy fully. The hotel is in a good location. The rooms are small and outdated. A plus that they had gluten free rolls and bread for me and lactose free milk. However the regular menu had almost nothing I could eat...

The hotel is located very close to Göhren center and still very quite. The personal touch makes this a fantastic location to stay.

We liked it very, very much. Spontaneous requests such as a packed lunch were fulfilled and, as newcomers to the island, we received great advice on gastronomy, sights, etc. Highly recommended!

The boss of the house is totally friendly and there for each of her guests. (Thanks Tina 😊) The breakfast is very nicely done all Wishes are fulfilled and a lot of regional and homemade (jam a dream!) The rooms are lovingly furnished and very clean. The pool and sauna are a dream. We'll be back 😊

I was a guest at the Hotel Sonnenklahr in June. Absolutely great atmosphere and very nice team. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and of high quality. Virtually nothing to be desired. The breakfast was delicious. The highlight is the film-ready beach that is in the immediate vicinity. Highly recommended, gladly again!

I really liked the modern room, very good WiFi, good TV, balcony, bathroom from Duravit. I recommend booking breakfast. I didn't like the permanently running water in the toilet. There were certainly 4 liters per minute running through - so 5760 liters per day! I didn't feel good about supporting such a waste.

It was very nice, the room was neat and newly furnished, our room had a sea view. The bathroom was clean and modern. The breakfast buffet was sufficient and delicious, there was something for everyone. The staff were all very nice.

The hotel is small but nice. A buffet in the morning is certainly better than ready-made plates at the table, but we were full and had some choice. And the breakfast service makes everything a little more pleasant with their very nice and funny manner. The area is very quiet and the beach is less than a two-minute walk away. We would come again 🙂

Small but fine hotel near the beach. Restaurant with a selection of hot and cold dishes to take away directly in the hotel. The beach is 10 meters away behind the dunes. It is possible to rent a beach chair on a daily basis at very favorable conditions (also for non-hotel guests). Rooms are quite small, if you need more space you can also rent a smartly furnished holiday apartment directly in the hotel...

Hotel Eldena is located just outside of Göhren, but has direct access to the beach. Otherwise you have to be good on foot or by bike to go to another inn etc. to eat. Unfortunately the hotel does not have an elevator. The staff is very friendly and takes care of the guests. The restaurant only has a small menu but the food is very good. Very friendly and attentive staff. Well maintained complex in a beautiful and quiet location not far from both beaches. Extremely dog-friendly! Furniture in the apartment is a bit old, but functional and clean. Suggestion on my part: : - it would be very useful to attach felt to the chairs so that they can be moved noiselessly -a potato peeler would be great in the kitchen -a scraper for the shower...

A wonderful 4-day getaway. Very nice, clean duplex apartment with sea views and a small kitchenette. Fresh bread rolls every morning from the bread service. The location is perfect. Very friendly staff, perfect organization and functioning bread service. Clean rooms and well-kept grounds in a very good, quiet location. Sufficient parking spaces directly at the facility and good waste separation options. Sauna, playroom and fitness room available. We have felt very comfortable here.

Super nice holiday with a great apartment. Well maintained. The staff at reception very friendly. It's rare in this form. Dogs are also noticeably welcome. We felt very comfortable in the Inselhotel Rügen. We liked that the hotel was close to the beach and on a quiet street in Göhren. You can walk to the beach in 5 minutes. We were looking for a quiet hotel on Rügen and found it in the Inselhotel. We had an apartment and were not disappointed in any way, we had a great view of the Baltic Sea. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired, sausage, cheese, delicious homemade jams, scrambled eggs and bacon, and what is always important to me, the coffee was excellent. This was my 18th time at the Inselhotel and I'm still thrilled! The Inselhotel is traffic-calmed at the end of Wilhelmstraße near the beach. You can quickly reach the beautiful beach and the other beautiful places that make up Göhren. The hotel is family-run and the owners lend a hand and offer very good individual service. Very good small hotel. We had an apartment and another 2-room room (4 adults, 2 children). Tastefully furnished and absolutely quiet. You only heard the sound of the sea. The apartment has a beautiful sea view. Great breakfast with lots of fresh and homemade treats. A table of 6 was prepared for us every day. The service in general is so good. I arrived early morning (10am) and they gave me my room without extra amount. All the women in the hotel (reception, housekeeping, restaurant) were so kind and sweet. And I loved the breakfast!! The only “bad” thing is that it is not front the beach, you have to walk around 15min .

The room is small, but absolutely sufficient for a night's sleep. Everything was clean and tidy. The staff were nice and smiling. The breakfast was excellent. We were pleasantly surprised by the local hotel newspaper waiting for us at breakfast.

We stayed in a junior suite with sea view and balcony in the Hotel Stranddistel for 8 days, it was a dream vacation. Even from bed you could enjoy the endless expanse of the Baltic Sea and, if you were early enough, the sunrise.
