Cliff Hotel Rugen

This Hotel is situated in a wonderful location right by the ocean and close to the city/village center of Sellin.
The breakfast is good, it could have a slighty more options such as glutenfree or lactose free but it is manageable with the variety being served!
The rooms, depending in which one you stay at, renovated or not. Some are older, meaning the furniture and the amenities in the bathroom could be updated. There I d say a difference should be made in the price, the price comparison between the rooms is not justified.
We have stayed here two/three times over the years, mostly between Christmas and New Year and it is usually fairly booked.
The wellness/pool is nice and clean, great to relax or go for a swim, actually the pool is pretty huge for a hotel pool.
The staff is ok, they are not unfriendly but they are also not super authentic or passionate.
Due to its location, the quality of breakfast, cleanness and service we can recommend this hotel.
The hotel of course can do better in some areas, but cant we all :)

I must say I am super impressed with this hotel. It is a bit expensive but its worth all the money. The breakfast is included in the price and the breakfast is so amazing and have so many varieties and changes every day, you have a sitting options from where you can see sea. The hotel itself is so huge that it take around an hour more to take the hole tour of the place. This hotel has an facility such as swimming pool,sauna bath, gym, boutique etc.The hotel is directly connected to the beach and you can also rent biked for 6 eur for 4 hours and 9 eur for the whole day. First we stayed in the room 1316 which was on 3rd floor but the room was very big and after asking to change it( as I wanted on above floors) got the room number 1619 which was a bit smaller but the view was worth it. This hotel is like 11 min walk from baabe bahnof and 40 min from rugen auf bergen (bus 20) but please keep a buffer as sometime there is traffic and you can miss your connections. They also have live show once a month which is definately to look forward and the talking about the staff they are super helpful humble and polite and always there to help you. The guy at the bar with apex is super sweet. Definately already looking for coming back here.

Th location of the hotel is its best asset. Some items would deserve a brush- up and some prices , e.g. for wellness, seem to be too high. But at the end of the day we had a great time there.
