Th location of the hotel is its best asset. Some items would deserve a brush- up and some prices , e.g. for wellness, seem to be too high. But at the end of the day we had a great time there.

We got a room pretty last minute (3 weeks prior). Our room was spacious but the furniture and interior design appeared out dated, even a little like different pieces were thrown together and did not really match. There were nails in the wall that supposed to have a picture hung up on. You had to ask for room service. The breakfast was buffet style - during corona times not the best option for safety...

Amazing hotel with incredible food and service. But most outstanding is the Spa building with saunas and pools. I was most surprised by the amount of spa treatments!!! I’ve had two face treatments, massages and a pedicure. The spa staff is very nice and professional especially Yvonne that helped me with advice how to improve my beauty routine in general.

Breakfast was lovely, staff were very attentive and friendly. The whole place was excellent. Situated on the "main" street of Sellin. approx 5 minutes to the beach/promenade, lots of restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Supermarket and train station- 10 minutes. The hotel has bikes you can rent also. A great location for a relaxing break in a quiet little town.

A wonderful place to stay and relax. Director and Owners are very kind hearted persons. A beautiful ❤️ memorable experience. A must visit place in Sellin. And a very pleasant ambiance.

We only went to their restaurant Toujours and I couldn't be more amazed. It was one of the best flammkuchen I ever ate. From the balance of flavours to the crispy dough and the staff was super friendly.

Hotel with breathtaking sea view, 5 min walk down to the beach and promenade. Had a reasonable spacious and very modern single room: comfortable bedding with 3 (!) different cushions, mini fridge. Well equipped gym. Indoor pool spaciously. Outstanding breakfast buffet. Staff very friendly and welcoming. In off-season a great deal!!

Very friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms. The breakfast buffet was very good, with a large selection of hot (sausage, bacon, eggs) and cold breakfast foods (bread, fruit, ham, cheese, yoghurt, small cakes, etc). Originally we booked breakfast for one day but extended it to have breakfast every day as it was perfect for adults and children alike and worth the price.

A week's room with a sea view in October 2021 left nothing to be desired. A well thought-out concept, very friendly staff, delicious varied food and an ingenious view of the pier and the Baltic Sea ensured relaxation and well-being. The hotel is about 8-10 minutes walk from the beach. Everything in this house was recently renovated... Very modern furnishings with lovely details. Room was good, big and spacious. The hotel room we got was very near to beach. Nice location. Friendly staff, and nice stay. The car parking (You have to pay extra) lot was just behind the building, so very comfortable. Breakfast was good, limited options for vegetarians. But, not a problem, you can be full. Wifi signal was poor in room, and I say, it was not working inside !

Nice room, clean, quiet. What is a bit annoying is that breakfast is in the other hotel. Two hotels are apparently put together for breakfast, which leads to waiting times in front of the door, so another solution should be found as soon as possible.

Very nice staff, in the hotel, reception, "Zum Kranich" (especially Mrs. Kaiser in the service) cleaning. The family room was a good size, daily cleaning. The food was varied, fresh and tasty. We spent a wonderful holiday in the hotel "Strandallee". The family room with a balcony was clean and we had enough space. The service team was always friendly and courteous. Breakfast and dinner in the "beach hotel" was delicious and the staff always courteous. We would love to come back.

I was a guest at the hotel with my wife. We were overwhelmed by the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. Every wish was fulfilled immediately. The location of the hotel is also fantastic, as the beach is only a few meters away. We felt completely at ease and it won't be the last time that we have been there. We stayed at the "Waldfrieden" in October and loved it. The hotel, our room, was great. It's not just great in terms of equipment, but also in terms of size. The bathroom was nice and large and redesigned. The breakfast is very lovingly designed and very varied. And in the evening we enjoyed a delicious dinner in the cabin. We (my husband and I) went to the restaurant for the first time yesterday and we absolutely loved it. The result was, we were there again today. The food is absolutely delicious and the prices are totally justified. Who needs Italians, Greeks and co when you can get regional cuisine. This is how we imagine holidays, thank you also for the great service. We will be back definitely.

We had dinner here. There were enough free tables and the service was friendly and quick. The food (fish soup, mixed herring and spaghetti with prawns and sauce) was delicious overall, although the spaghetti drowned in the sauce - less would have been more here. Slightly larger portions would be desirable - a few spaghetti or fried potatoes certainly don't hurt given the prices, but fill the guest...

Had breakfast here for a week. Was solid overall. Very friendly staff. Small deduction due to the often somewhat dry bread rolls and refill speed.

Small hotel, clean and cheap for the location in Sellin. A house more for couples or single travelers. Had a small single room. Everything you need. What I liked best was the huge shower with space for four. Breakfast was sufficient

In terms of price, despite Corona, absolutely reasonable. Nice cozy hotel, modern rooms. The staff was always friendly, had an open ear and asked if everything was okay. The only thing negative (in my opinion) is the breakfast. But you can't please everyone either. I would definitely like to come back.

We really enjoyed our time in Wald hotel. Comfy beds, modern decoration, a correct breakfast, friendly staff and very helpful with all information of sellin and transports. The only thing we missed a bit was the possibility to have some tea in the room before sleep.
