Excellent stay at Hotel Der Seehof - only issue is parking and the hotel needs to work out arrangement with local community on public parking space where it should be possible to BUY parking ticket via the hotel.

Nice hotel - near the top of the market, but the price point reflects that. Only concerns we had were the hotel did not have air conditioning (we could open the window, but that would not help if there was a heat wave) and secondly there is very limited parking - except for the parking lot across that street that is paid parking, but often full with tourists etc.

The hotel is tucked a away near the lake. Even though the property is quite big it instills the feeling of remote tranquility. The room was spacious, quiet, and had great views. Parking was convenient. Staff was friendly, helpful and always went the extra mile. Food in the adjacent restaurant was exceptional.

This hotel with attached restaurant and cafe is totally hidden in the green right by the lake. If you love nature, you should stop here. The room was clean and large. The restaurant is cozy and the food was great! I could have slurped the pepper cream sauce off the plate :-)

Very nice, quiet hotel. Rooms spacious. Breakfast and food in the restaurant very good. Friendly, helpful staff from the boss to the waiter. We had our class reunion there with 22 people and were all very satisfied. You can recommend the hotel with confidence.

We have stayed here twice now and have enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is picturesquely situated on the Küchensee, which always invites you to swim in summer. The staff of the family-run house is very polite and courteous, even in the summer of 2020, efforts have been made to offer guests a relaxed time with the best possible comfort despite the circumstances. Big rooms, easy to come by car, the breakfast spread is somewhat limited, but there are many tea and coffee types offered. The village looks nice too, even if we did not have a chance to explore it. Stayed twice, and would stay again.

A really nice country hotel located a short drive just outside city. The staff is welcoming and helpful and the small village is charming. We travelled with two children and got a beautiful studio apartment with full kitchen, living room and two spacious bedrooms. And a small terrace. Go here if you travel to Lübeck by car💯

Fantastic hotel 10 km from Lubeck. Cosy rooms and nice beds. Perfect service. The nextdoor italian restaurant served perfect dishes everyday and the staff were outstanding!

August 2nd 2020 for 1 night. Lovely lovely. I believe it.is refurbished. The washroom is beautiful and clean. The room is wonderful and clean with 2.single beds and 2 sofa beds. It was better than the 4 star hotels we went to in Hamburg and Berlin. The breakfast was nice.

July 2020. Room 15. One night stop on way to Berlin - fully refurbed room to high standard. Fantastic shower 💦. Room a little warm at night but fan provided which is a nice touch. Restaurant (you need to book) is very good high quality italian. The pork steaks fantastic 👌🏻👌🏻.

Very nice hotel with big and clean room, nice terrace with the view to the field and nice breakfast. There is a bug parking place available near the hotel. Also the restaurant provide a good and tasty meals for dinner. Make sure to call them or check the opening times. At Thursday the kitchen opens from 17 till 21. The price is higher than average but the meals are really big and tasty.

Beautiful quaint hotel with excellent food and even better massages! We stayed in room 44 and the room was spacious and quiet. The grounds of the hotel are simply beautiful. Dinner was mouthwatering and breakfast although quite simple, very fresh and tasty. Our massage therapist was excellent!

We travelled from the US to this lovely country inn for a family reunion. It was wonderful. The staff was welcoming and helpful and the location so very peaceful and beautiful. There were beautiful grounds and the reunion dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Breakfast also had an extension selection, and everything was fresh and tasty. It is close enough to Lubeck that you can to into town...

It's a beautiful property for a quiet rest, so long as you stay at the property as there is nothing else in the area within walking distance. Spa services were not as advertised, and had to be booked an hour in advance, and were not the same hours as listed - closing at 6PM instead of 9PM, with massage having to be booked even further in advance.

Nice quiet hotel . A really nice hotel , well away from the bustle of Lubek [so no walking in to town] offering excellent service but quite pricey ! A good place for a relaxing break or stopover [as we were] on your European road trip to or from Denmark. Surrounded by corn fields and gardens . Oh - I nearly forgot , they can’t spell Potato !

Been here many times now. Beautiful hotel with excellent service and the restaurant is serving amazing food and wine. Sitting outside during summer is great. Close enough to easy get to Lübeck city center as well.

It is located a few km outside city center in a quiet suburb, surrounded by private houses and industrial buildings. First impression from outside may not be so good, but the interior facilities as well as the hotel rom are clean. A friendly staff offers good service and good breakfast.

Really nice Service at the Restaurant

The architecture/interior design will leave you staring with mouth wide open-not exactly in a positive way. The building is a cube and inside there is a mix of medieval style furniture, Asian style, modern style and simply everything over each other. Room was very clean and bathroom was big, but the bed was making so many noises it was difficult to fall and stay asleep. Staff was friendly.

I had been this hotel last March and it was great pleasure to me. With a cozy environment and antic furniture, I could be relaxed as much as I can. I will visit here again with my family later. It also has wonderful restaurant in 1st floor.

Good location if you are with a car. Free parking on premises or the road. Booking directly is reasonably cheaper than through booking site. Beer house just 10 minutes walking - Where you should try DAB & wurst with curry.

A quiet, safe, and clean place to stay. You could also try to walk to city center if you don't mind walking for about 20 minutes.

The hotel worked out very well for us. We were travelling on so needed a hotel that was easy to get to by car with easy parking and the hotel was perfect in that regard. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and everything was clean and up to date with a large room. It's a little bit of walk to get into the centre of Lübeck itself, but that was a trade-off we'd already made when booking.

I personally liked it, but there is a lot of room for improvement here as well. The room for improvement could be used creatively. There is quite a bit that can be improved immediately. Plants, especially more trees should be considered as a possibility.

Stayed there for a week, rooms were clean, only problem that I have faced with was language, they are not good at english, this was a bit problem for me. I could not understand how to enter to hostel, then I figured out using password allows you to get in.

Always clean and well ventilated rooms with beautiful modern design. The staff is very friendly and efficient. We were always able to enjoy drinks and snacks from machine (only coins are accepted). Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The carpet in the hallway of the hotel on the 2nd floor has not been vacuumed for 4 days. Because it is not cleaned daily, the tile joints look dirty. I stayed at Tryp Hotel for two nights with my dog. Friendly, problem-free check-in, the room was very clean and furnished perfectly fine for the hotel category. The bed was comfortable, everything worked in the bathroom, the TV ran without any problems with great programs. The breakfast also left nothing to be desired for me - bread, rolls and other pastries, coffee, tea, milk, cocoa, juices, various...

Great hotel with no air conditioning but no problem due to the generosity of the hosts and the cleaning which was done in all cases.

Have seen better days, time to refurbish the rooms perhaps, clean and tidy but the rooms have more to wish for, I'm a returning guest for approx 20 years but I will think twice next time

It's OK they could make if better by modernized reception area but I recommend it still.

The hotel staff was very kind, I had many useful answers from him. And the apartment was so good and clean. I could feel at home here and I ,my husband and my kids were satisfied with this apartment hotel. Forethemore, it had a great view over the window and places(cityhall, cathedrals and supermarket) nearly. If I travel Lubeck, I will stay here again.

Weekend stay Nice hotel but very old which is also very charming but it needs to be refurbished. Could be maintained better. Nice with kettle, coffee and tea in the room. The bathroom smelled a little bit of fungus and was old. The beds were hard. Nice view and the room was big.

I love the breakfast. It makes you feel very welcome. The hotel in general is very cozy and lovely. The rooms are on the smaller side but have everything needed and feel cozy as well. The location is quite perfect. I can imagine the hotel to be unfit for an any person who has problems with stairs since there isn't a lift.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the aldstat area. Close to museums, churches and restaurants. St. Petri church is next door - take the lift to the observation deck to see a beautiful 360 degree view.

We liked the hotel so much we extended our stay. The staff were amazing. We felt valued as guests and would happily return to the hotel. The room was well appointed. Comfy bed, air conditioning and mini bar.

We paid extra to have a purported suite with city view that turned out to be facing another apartment building with no view. The room description was very misleading.

Wow! This hotel was phenomenal in every regard. The receptionists were always extremely kind. Their breakfast buffet was also phenomenal. Everything was fresh and tasty every day. It was nice to start my day with so many pleasant people greeting me! One other perk— I really, really appreciated that they accommodate guests with special pillows, should they need them. The hotel is located not far from the center of Lübeck, has a private parking and a well-kept garden. The rooms are nicely decorated. The breakfast is good, but it could be a bit better, because there were some fresh fruit and cereas present. You can also take drinks and a few snacks from the refrigerator, these are then paid for at the end of your stay. You can take many trips in Lübeck from here

Such a nice place with very nice staff. Nice breakfast and nice rooms. A taxi into the center of Lübeck costs approximately 20 Euro. Bus no. 11 can be boarded right outside the hotel and this costs 2.80 Euro per person.

We were only there for 1 night. The rooms were clean. The mattresses good. The bathroom was obviously relatively new and also clean. The breakfast had been lovingly put together. If you wanted black tea, you could even choose the type. In the dining room they still used really nice white tablecloths. They have disappeared almost everywhere today. The hotel manager was very nice and helpful.

Comfortable and clean hostel and friendly staff. FYI there is no public kitchen and there are no lockers or drawers for your bags in the hostel. Location is great for exploring Lübeck.

We have booked a studio apartment here , very spacious very nice clean and nice staff. Although we couldn't connect to the WiFi,(just putting it out there not everyone needs wifi though). Overall nice and a definite staying place for next visit for me.

Real Traditional old- fashioned type of Hostel where they hand you your sheets to make your own bed up.. just like in my teenage hostelling days ! Nice that this also has single sex dorms.-So many dont. Quite generous breakfast included..packed out at that time though !

The hostel is within a reasonable walking distance from the train station. Really really close to the main square. The heart of Lübeck is very walkable so this hostel really does have a good location if you like to explore the city by foot. The hostel itself is very clean. Hotel is located in central location with a beautiful view to a Gate and river. Was mentioned in a documents( and became a hotel soon after) before Columbus discovered America. How cool :). Rooms are cosy and simple. Service is very welcoming and attentive. No problem with parking or finding place to eat.

Fantastic stay - front desk is VERY accommodating in a very non-German way … parking is a bit rough, but the view makes up for that. The breakfast, as with pretty much any German hotel breakfast, is outstanding. Shower is SUPER slippery - careful!

This is a 3-star hotel which has all features you need. The location in the Old Town by the water is superb. Then you meet their wonderful staff which serves the customer like this was a luxury hotel and the 3-star rating changes. Natalya S earns the last star by cleaning a table for us high speed so we can sit down and have breakfast. This hotel comes highly recommended.

We stayed in the room called "Gotland". The three windows in the picture are the windows of Gotland overlooking the garden which was in bloom. It was such a nice place, my daughter said within two minutes that she would love to live in a place like that. Comfortable, clean, and a location which was very quiet in the old town. Friendly staff and very nice breakfast. All in all the atmosphere was delightful

The hotel is situated in a cobblestoned street in the old town and is near various restaurants, cafes, pubs and attractions. The owner was very friendly as were all the staff. What a lovely small hotel in the middle of Luebeck. Just a few rooms, delicious breakfast and the atmosphere in the house is just breathtaking. Be aware, the house is quite old, so it can happen that you hear other guests.

Friendly and joyful staff! We had a 2 bed standard for 2 adults, 1 baby and a dog. The room was very big and clean. So was also the bathroom. They even setup a crib free of charge. The issue we had was upon arriving with luggage and a baby stroller we found there is no entrance without steps. Once inside they showed us a way through the bike garage to avoid the steps. Just ask inside in case you need

The double room was quite spacious and clean, bathroom modern but for 2 people really tiny. Breakfast was great, included fresh waffles. It can be tricky to find a parking space, the hotel has some parking spaces in garage for 15 €/night.
