Perfect for a city break in Ravensburg, right next to the train station (though you'll not hear one from your room) so you're connected to just about everywhere. Friendly staff and onsite parking.

Very conveniently located to train station, super market, restaurants, taxi stand etc. Room and breakfast were good and front office staff very friendly and helpful. Only issue was the thermostat in the room was not easy to operate making the room quite hot and had to keep the windows open. Will stay here again on my next visit.

I gave 4 stars because I was not satisfied with the hygiene of the bathroom. More attention should be paid to bathroom hygiene, especially in the shower and toilet. I will return to this hotel with great pleasure. I wish all employees good health!

Very friendly and accommodating staff. This place is perfect for a short or longer stay in Ravensburg. It’s central location makes it a quick walk or train ride wherever you want to go in the area. Rooms are very clean, quiet and also nice and cool. The default 12:00 check out time is perfect if you like sleeping in. See you next time.

Definitely the best experience I've had at any hotel. Staff is very open, kind and friendly. Very much so will do anything to make sure that your stay is a comfortable one. It's kept very tidy as well. As far as hotels go, you can only go right with this one. Haven't tried the food as of yet, but it looks and smells wonderful. One of the best restaurants in Ravensburg. Really good Swabian food and some special dishes. All accessible via wheelchair. Please note that vegetarian options are given but less due typically Swabian food. Staff is awesome and if you need something just let them know. 5* without doubt!

Was there for one night on business. Good service and clean. Good mattress! Smokers can go out onto the balcony from their room. Free parking in front of the hotel. Right next to the hotel is a restaurant serving Italian cuisine. The tortellini panna's service were very good! I would stay there overnight again.

Hotel was sufficient. The beds a little narrow and short. Hotel ambience sufficient for this unbeatable price! Since I don't eat breakfast I can't comment on that. If I'm in the area again, I will visit this hotel again. 4* because the parking spaces are very narrow and not sufficient.

The hotel was easy to find using in car navigation. Staff were good to work with & accommodating . Room is slightly smaller but adequate for two for a night. Great hotel with modern rooms with balcony and on 2 levels. Very nice and polite staff in the restaurant. Breakfast buffet with plenty of choice and if something was missing it was immediately refilled. Lodged here for a short time as it was fair priced and not too far away from the places I had in mind. Check in is really 24 hours ( key box ). Interior ( carpets for instance ) could be better but considering the price it was okay. On-site parking is additional 5 EUR and off-site parking spaces are rare. One of the best hotel and restaurant at the Bodensee, their food is tasty something tourist must to try, once you been in the area. Their staff are all friendly and attentive, the price is a little bit high compare to other restaurant in the area. But worth to try once in a while.

I stayed here for one night. The hotel is clean. The self-check-in works well. I thought the breakfast was good. Everything was average quality at a fair price... The pillows could be a bit newer (they were a bit worn). The staff was nice.

A beautiful old villa with a distinct charm. Modern pop art paintings hang throughout the interior. The room on the third floor, without an elevator, is beautifully renovated and equipped with the essentials. The shower is in a corner of the room, and the toilet is outside, next door. Very misleading A very missleading stay from what is advertised. There is a spa although you have to pay €19.50pp to use it. The “hot tub” in the spa is just a 1 person jacuzzi bath which you must also buy on top of the spa costs. At night all the heating was turned off so it was very cold. Room was clean and quiet though. all the machines for coffee etc only take coins so make sure you bring plenty...

Whilst the facilities here are undoubtedly of very high quality , a standard camping pitch in July is a cramped affair. The rows of campers with very little space to call their own stand in stark contrast to the pictures of luxury facilities.

A great weekend place or longer stay The hotel is in an excellent spot in Friedrichshafen. We had a beautiful room that was well appointed with lots of extras that American travelers are accustomed to: refrigerator, coffee maker, plenty of towels. The properties well maintained. Really good value, located a bit on the outskirts of town but perfect place to stop before heading to Ravensburger Land (20 mins away). It is a new hotel so good sized clean rooms and nice new bathrooms! We had interconnecting rooms at the end of the corridor but there aren’t many of these so make sure to ask in advance.

Not very convenient! Far from the station

The room is big and clean, with a balcony. The breakfast is great. The downside is that it is a bit far from the city center, but you can take a taxi for 10 euros or take the 50-meter-long landratsamt to Friedrichshafen stadt. There is also a large supermarket at the door. The receptionist was very enthusiastic to help with the car delivery and luggage storage, which is very good, I think.

Very tastefully and beautifully renovated townhouse, comfortable beds, easy access via code/key box. Overall great, but the rooms on the second floor are very noisy. We could hear our neighbors snoring and talking.

The accommodation is clean and centrally located, especially for travelers by train. Everything is within walking distance. Everything you need is there. The only thing I didn't like was that everything is rather practically furnished. I felt it lacked coziness.

Spent 4 lovely days seeing the sights around Lake Constance based in a wonderful 4 star family run hotel - Maier in Fischbach which is only a short bus ride from Friedrichshafen. Train straight from airport (Ryanair flights) into Friedrichshafen then local bus only five minutes to the suburb. This Hotel is about 2 miles outside the town and close to the Bodensee. There is parking in front of the hotel and the hotel is currently undergoing a major extension which will provide underground parking. The hotel and the wellness area are nothing special. In fact, from the photos on the booking the expectation was that the room was in the modern part of the hotel, but unfortunately this was not the case. The staff wasn’t overly friendly and helpful either. The room had several damages but was quiet which was appreciated. There is an outside bike stand with metal hooks for locking.

This is a hotel which clearly holds itself to a very high standard, but which fell flat is some basic ways. The booking covered multiple rooms in the Hofhaus and Stammhaus, so we saw more of the hotel than most. Hotel Maier was fit for a one-night stopover. Room was extremely dated. Glad there was air conditioning. Walls were very thin, could hear the TV from another room at 5am. You had to book the steam room in advance. This wasn't conveyed to us so when my partner went to the steam room, it was off. Mr. Leobilla who was our waiter was great. The female waitress was good too. Receptionists were friendly as well.

This was my third or fourth stay at Hotel Maier but my first since the new extension was built. I had a room in the extension which was, obviously, modern and very clean. It had everything you could realistically hope for and was very quiet. The extension has also created an underground car park where I was able to securely park my motorcycle for the night. Very friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast. Keeping in mind you get what you pay for, the shower was awful! No water pressure, hot and cold. #1 room loud next to the street and light. Request a different room or bring ear plugs and sleeping mask.

Funny Restaurant, the Schnitzel is very delicious and the beer is good as well.
