Friendly, clean and a good location! Rooms are adequate and modern. Top! A little deduction at breakfast, fresh fruit would have been nice here.

Good place for kale with even a bigger group Kale with different kind of pork specialties is a traditional dish in winter and we chose this restaurant which apparently was a pretty good choice. Beside the main actor kale the meat was good and the potatoes were... well... funny. They caramelized the potatoes what was for me new. I am not sure whether they fit to the meal but for sure it was an experience...

Highly recommended Been there twice. Nice location, central placement, free parking and reasonable pricing. Highly recommended.

Hyggelig Hyggelig hotel, bevægende i en gammel bygning, som også gør, at der er lidt skævt nogle steder. Gode parkering forhold, dejligt tæt på centrum. Vil overveje det igen en anden gang.

Ved check in forsøgte receptionisten sig på uforståeligt engelsk, selvom hun blev tiltalt på tysk. Sengen var rigtig god. Badet godt. alt for lidt plads til toilettet

We checked in really late (around 22:30) and the door was closed. One quick call and someone was on the way to open the door. Check-in was super easy and my room was very clean. Wifi worked great in my room. We stayed for 1 night, just to have a place to sleep during our roadtrip.

We had a nice stay, confortable room, good bed, rich breakfast. Good choice of restaurants nearby. One important suggestion: it’s hard to use the shower (room 102) because the door goes inside instead of outside. Therefor you can’t go in and out easily.

Breakfast was very fine. The location close to downtown.

Nord-Ostsee Kanal is just a few steps from the door providing nice area for evening walk watching container ships sailing through canal. Excellent location for an overnight stop enroute to Denmark and with the bonus of a great view overlooking the Kiel Canal. The staff were some of the friendliest and helpful we have met on our travels.

Nicole on reception was fantastic, welcoming, very informative, and entertaining, with a great sense of humour, lovely lady. Restaurant staff, superb service, nothing was a problem , always smiling.

Excellent Hotel. A lovely hotel with excellent room and on immaculate condition. Only one thing could have made our stay better and that would have been a kettle. The staff were excellent, in particular the breakfast staff who were excellent!

The location next to the pedestrian/bike tunnel and on the canal was wonderful. A lovely corner room with a view of the ships. We appreciated the bike garage. The service at dinner was very,very slow. Over an hour before we received our drinks. No other hotel or restaurant on our trip was so slow.

Nice location Hotel was ok! Nice location along the Kiel channel with a good restaurant at the hotel overlooking the channel. We stayed in a room in the older part of the hotel. Some basic stuff, like a water boiler was missing. One of the receptionists was also very unfriendly and did not bother to greet the guests.

Cozy and tiny I received no information on check-in and it turned out that nobody was at reception and I was supposed to have received a code number which never arrived. Check-in was very complicated. The room was fine, much smaller than the photo suggests, but overall OK for one-night stay.

Rooms very nicely renovated and clean. However, the double bed with a width of 1.40 meters is an impertinence. The reception is only manned in the morning, the breakfast is good. The self-service with drinks n is well organized. Bicycles can also be accommodated very well. Here the motto counts: the man (the woman) is himself

Very clean. Nice bathroom. A bit impersonal, everything via login codes. Not a nice mattress, so neither of us slept well. Tasty breakfast, finally meeting with staff!!

Clean and spacious. Excellent food in the restaurant. Beds were fine, but the pillows are very thin and there were no extra pillows for more neck support. Breakfast 630-930 and checkout at 1000 is quite early I think, would have been nice if we could eat and leave an hour later.

Small houses with small rooms with great bathroom, I thing I was little bit suprised be the information at the Hotel, It was only German speaking, they didn´t answar back in English.. But they are friendly, with hand gesture we had funny language..

In itself a very nice pony farm, where you can have great weeks. The riding instructor is really friendly and teaches very well. However, the organization is still pretty chaotic, but that has gotten better compared to last year. Therefore no five stars, but for a relaxing and relaxing holiday it's good!

Our children went to the Ponyhof Naeve am Wittensee for the first time in 2022 and thought it was great. The kids had a lot of fun and that's the main thing! As parents, we can tell you what is going on at the riding stables.

Our daughter (12) was the first time without her parents for a week on the pony holiday. She really liked it and didn't even mention homesickness, even though her dog was waiting for her at home. So it must have been great! She will definitely come back!

Super pony farm Our little one liked it so much that she spent the whole day with the ponies. Ernie is her favorite. It's a shame that the children's hotel is fully booked until the end of August. But we keep trying...

Awesome view of the ocean from our room! Room was super clean, comfortable and spacious for a double, breakfast was good, and the employees were really friendly and nice. Location was also great, only 15 or 20 min walk to the town center and shopping. Would definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a family room, which had a separate room with a set of bunkbeds, plus a main room with a large bed and a fold out sofa bed. Lots of space and very clean. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and wandering along the walkway down the coast to Eckernforde. Everyone enjoyed the hotel's breakfast - lots of options with great coffee and outdoor seating.

Overall nice visit but the check in process was a real mess. The front desk attendant presented us with a tablet where we had to enter ALL of our info AGAIN—address, name, email, credit card info , passport info, telephone , and much more. Everything we already supplied when we made the online booking. This took an unnecessary extra 10 minutes of our time when they could have just extracted this info...

I have stayed here many times for the last 20+ years. The hotel is in excellent condition, with constant renovations. The rooms are newly decorated, and the showers have been upgraded again. Always more than I expect. The breakfast and bar staff are wonderful. And the location cannot be beat.

Stadthotel in Eckernförde is a very nice hotel. Very good breakfast and the barkeeper in the bar is very service-oriented. Walking distance to the town's pedestrian street and a few meters to the beach. Parking in the basement under the Hotel. We all from Norway can recommend this hotel.

Fabulous boutique hotel.....no food other than breakfast which was wonderful. The owner speaks perfect English but they don't get any English stay here. Lovely room......lots of restaurants nearby. The only downside could be parking but we we're ok.

We had a very pleasant stay at the F-Ritz hotel in Schleswig. We stayed at the standard 2 person room. A beautifull architectual exciting building with high quality rooms. This Restaurant has very delicious food and offers for lunchtime a Mittagstisch with moderate prices.

Selecting Comfort room gives you a big, bright room with a fine bathroom. The breakfast was perfect and a lot to choose from. Also there was an option to charge my electrical car. The comfort rooms are not in the main building, and you have to use outside stairs to get there. It is not totally soundproof as I could hear cleaning staff in the morning.

Had a meal in the restaurant after a walk on the waterfront. Nice food, a small Menu, friendly staff that were kept busy doing other Jobs while waiting on us and the other guests. The stated dining area at the Real still has the old track in place. A nice touch.

Small hotel with a historical ambience. We used the spacious family room, which extends over two floors and is highly recommended. It goes to the spacious garden and is therefore very quiet. We were able to enjoy the rich breakfast on the terrace, gluten-free rolls were not a problem.
