Beautiful family run hotel right on a lake. Amazing view from our balcony. Great food, lovely staff. Able to hire a boat on the lake. Fabulous holiday.

The hotel is OK. Rooms are spacious (even the single). The pool and sauna are good, however the restaurant is trying a bit too hard to be fabulous. The quality of the dishes is fair, the size and combination of flavours could be improved upon.

A nice place for a short stay. The hotel is an bit oldschool but the rooms are modern and well equipped. The staff didn't speak English so prepare a dictionary. Overall very positive: nice, calm and clean. Very good breakfast.

Vacation on the farm. The owners are crazy about investing and equipping, so there are now large farm-style apartments. Exactly what you want. Totally child-friendly and cozy We would love to come back

Very nice. We had a great time at the Keilhof. Great location, quiet and relaxed in a family atmosphere. The boss and boss are super relaxed, very friendly and take great care of the farm and guests. The rooms are clean and well maintained and nothing is missing. We were able to experience a great vacation here. Super child-friendly, typically Bavarian beautiful, loving and helpful care, a small selection of animals, fantastic views of the mountains and the Chiemsee and a great starting point for excursions! We would choose this accommodation again and again and recommend it to others!

The best vacation in a long time! Super friendly hosts, so many animals and the huge garden (for free use !!!) with a view of the lake. The rustic apartments are clean and very well equipped. We were on the farm for two weeks. The farm is well suited for children. A small playground with a trampoline and animals to stroke pass the time. Our apartment was equipped with all the necessary things (except for a microwave, which we also didn't need). The location with the view from the paddock to the lake to the Alps is wonderful. We can recommend the farm without reservation.

We have been to the farm several times now. For our children it is paradise. The Meyer family really does everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The apartments are tastefully and functionally furnished. Everything is very clean. We're guaranteed to come back more often

I think the hotel staff are not used to foreign guests. Mistakes were made on getting my reservation right - saying I had booked for two nights when it was three. The reservation confirmation was confusing because I check out on Tuesday but the billing and breakfast inclusion was only up to the Monday. I received the wrong bill at the Bavarian restaurant. I was advised the Derby restaurant was open...

We stayed for a week in May and it was indeed a great experience. The hotel has extensive grounds, several restaurants and large indoor and outdoor pools. We felt comfortable all around! The furnishings are wonderful, the cleanliness is impeccable and the service is good. The breakfast is particularly outstanding - really top quality! I can also highly recommend the Goldener Pflug restaurant. The spa is wonderful and well-kept. The entire complex is simply fantastic and invites you to go on a little tour of discovery from the stud farm to the golf course...

We spontaneously decided to spend a night at Gut Ising and we didn't regret it. A sundowner on the terrace of the Il Cavallo restaurant, then a quick dip in the swimming pool and later in the evening we ate at the Goldener Pflug. In the morning we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace. I rarely write reviews, but this is appropriate. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, really not too expensive...

Not far from Munich you will find a beautiful hotel with a golf course, riding school and wellness! The rooms are large, it is quiet and very well maintained. We always enjoy coming here now Kevin has owned the Seemannshof in the third generation. Thanks to him and to Elli and Mrs. Meier, such a great house in a quiet but also central location. We used to go here with friends, then with our children and now as pensioners. We always like to come back. Marion and Uwe.

We enjoyed a wonderful break from the big city here, the peace and quiet and idyll did us a lot of good. The rooms are spotless, clean and equipped with mosquito nets. The breakfast was just to our liking, with orange juice, fruit salad and eggs if you wanted them, homemade jam and as much coffee as you wanted. We were also able to rent bikes for cheap and got lots of tips for restaurants and excursions...

If you are looking for peace, a great breakfast and very attentive hosts, you have come to the right place. An insider tip for the less hip city dweller looking for relaxation ....... When it comes to bicycles, there is still room for improvement .......... ;-)

We will definitely go back to the Seemannshof, we were very impressed. You will be greeted warmly by the host and you will also get tips on where to eat nearby, as well as hiking tips or other activities.

On the road from Budapest to Switzerland. Great warm reception. We travelled with a standard poodle and were shown two rooms to choose from. One was more spacious and we chose that one. Greater quality for a great price. Midtown and close to everything. The only downside was the lack of English speaking staff.

We had lunch here during our bike tour around the Chiemsee. The waiter was very nice, the food was delicious and we had almost no waiting time.

Very nice and cozy hotel by the lake Chiemsee. The restaurants is also very good and they serve a very nice breakfast.

Very nice place, clean, comfortable room. Great breakfast. A balcony and garden to relax. The host makes one feel welcome. The Chiemsee villages are only a few minutes drive away. The place sure beats the expensive lakeside hotels in the area.

Really delicious and fresh fish breads, they are nicely seasoned and ideal to grab to go! Also really cute-looking store.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. We visited the hotel with two children. It happened and we checked in and checked out together with two other families. I noticed a different attitude to us who were not German to the other families who were German. Even to children. The other children were given a free book and sweets while ours were not. And that hit our kids hard...

A room with a view This property is in a very picturesque location right on the water. Many people have weddings here and I can see why. The rooms were spacious and modern with a large bathroom/shower. The breakfast was great with a large selection of lunch meats, cheeses, eggs, breads coffees and teas.

Fabulous location! Super comfy spacious room. Staff friendly. Lots of drawer space in bathroom. Balcony was really nice to sit on. Parking next to the hotel, however as public could get very busy. Short walk to ferries. Fabulous breakfast!

The room is old, the breakfast is OK, quite rich. The weather was bad, so I didn't have time to go to the lake. I can only come back next time when the weather is good... The price-performance ratio is OK.

While the hotel had some positive qualities, overall I would rate it as average and not up to the standards of a four-star property. Even though the Hotel (especially the rooms) are a bit on the dated side, it's a very nice place to spend a few days while exploring the area. Breakfast was included, which makes up for it being rather basic, and other than a anemic WiFi speed, everything was above and beyond great.

Three buildings AT THE DOCK- the placement is ideal on the water. We had a family room- one of 2 at top floor of the ‘art nouveau’ building closest to dock- we had an entry way, Big bathroom, Massive main room with K bed , closets and 2 chairs, second room with K bed, closet. No fridge, no kettle, no AC, breakfast included on ground floor of nouveau building each morning. Well appointed breakfast.staff...

A beautiful hotel, awsome breakfast, the best location for lots of activities (with a covid test center at the end of the street). Plenty of parking. Reliable WiFi. A communal fridge in the downstairs corridor. A long bike stand outside the main entrance. Lots of local restaurants.

It's a bit pricey for the old rooms, especially bath room, but otherwise ok. Clean rooms and friendly staff.

Friendly and helpful staff. The first impression is good, the hotel looks good. The check in was great, without any problems. The room was spacious and clean. The bed comfortable. Breakfast - a great choice, good coffee. We had an evening meal and it was good, large portion and tasty. The only negative point is that the parking space is not paved.

Can't go wrong. Every visit to Munich. This is a must visit. Atmosphere, vibe, people and music. It's the essence of Baveria.

We had 4 different meals and 3 different soups and everything was delicious, friendly staff all recommendations, big portions you will not leave this place hungry and disappointed.

Short walk or taxi from hotel to the ferry landing that takes you around Lake Chiemsee, that allows for a quieter, more relaxing lake experience. Included breakfast buffet was in a beautiful setting. ALL staff were so friendly and helpful. Room had a nice balcony, overlooking the marina, and the lake. Highly recommend!

Beautiful traditional property

The view is beautiful and the food is delicious.

Stayed 2 nights. The bed was a little soft for my liking, but worked well. Breakfast was amazing, the view of the lake and surrounding area was fantastic. We walked to the ferry terminal which is about 1k (1/2 m) away. 4-5 dining options were also available near the terminal. The hot tub is outside the pool area, everything is very well kept.

A very beautiful place to stay. The free buffet was the best we have ever seen. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will diffinately return.

The food is really good and the rooms are nice. There are a lot of staff in training and the management feels rather chaotic but overall there is barely anything to complain about.
