Beautiful family run hotel right on a lake. Amazing view from our balcony. Great food, lovely staff. Able to hire a boat on the lake. Fabulous holiday.

The hotel is OK. Rooms are spacious (even the single). The pool and sauna are good, however the restaurant is trying a bit too hard to be fabulous. The quality of the dishes is fair, the size and combination of flavours could be improved upon.

A nice place for a short stay. The hotel is an bit oldschool but the rooms are modern and well equipped. The staff didn't speak English so prepare a dictionary. Overall very positive: nice, calm and clean. Very good breakfast.

I think the hotel staff are not used to foreign guests. Mistakes were made on getting my reservation right - saying I had booked for two nights when it was three. The reservation confirmation was confusing because I check out on Tuesday but the billing and breakfast inclusion was only up to the Monday. I received the wrong bill at the Bavarian restaurant. I was advised the Derby restaurant was open...

We stayed for a week in May and it was indeed a great experience. The hotel has extensive grounds, several restaurants and large indoor and outdoor pools. The location with views of the Chiemsee is just great. We felt comfortable all around! The furnishings are wonderful, the cleanliness is impeccable and the service is good. The breakfast is particularly outstanding - really top quality! I can also highly recommend the Goldener Pflug restaurant. The spa is wonderful and well-kept. The entire complex is simply fantastic and invites you to go on a little tour of discovery from the stud farm to the golf course...

We spontaneously decided to spend a night at Gut Ising and we didn't regret it. A sundowner on the terrace of the Il Cavallo restaurant, then a quick dip in the swimming pool and later in the evening we ate at the Goldener Pflug. In the morning we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace. I rarely write reviews, but this is appropriate. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, really not too expensive...

Not far from Munich you will find a beautiful hotel with a golf course, riding school and wellness! The rooms are large, it is quiet and very well maintained. The ideal place, even to spend a short weekend Of course, everything you could wish for is also offered for longer stays We were treated very kindly here and will definitely come back!! On the road from Budapest to Switzerland. Great warm reception. We travelled with a standard poodle and were shown two rooms to choose from. One was more spacious and we chose that one. Room was very clean and quiet. Only one side of the hotel comes on the slightly busy road. Restaurant below serves great food. Greater quality for a great price. Midtown and close to everything. The only downside was the lack of English speaking staff.

We had lunch here during our bike tour around the Chiemsee. The waiter was very nice, the food was delicious and we had almost no waiting time.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. We visited the hotel with two children. It happened and we checked in and checked out together with two other families. I noticed a different attitude to us who were not German to the other families who were German. Even to children. The other children were given a free book and sweets while ours were not. And that hit our kids hard...

A room with a view This property is in a very picturesque location right on the water. Many people have weddings here and I can see why. The rooms were spacious and modern with a large bathroom/shower. The breakfast was great with a large selection of lunch meats, cheeses, eggs, breads coffees and teas.

Fabulous location! Super comfy spacious room. Staff friendly. Lots of drawer space in bathroom. Balcony was really nice to sit on. Parking next to the hotel, however as public could get very busy. Short walk to ferries. Fabulous breakfast!

You can't beat the location. 5 minute walk to the ferry to Frauen and Herren Chiemsee. Loved that they had a huge parking area. Never had to worry about not having parking space. Pizza-yummy! Coffee-yummy! We wanted to give it 5 points, but at the end when we paid the waiter asked for one euro more :( A bit of a rip-off, but it was still unpleasant... So 2 points gone.

The Westernacher is a restaurant on the lake promenade in Prien. The staff were attentive and generally fairly friendly. Unfortunately, the dishes were served quite late. The pizzas were very tasty and had a thin base. The roast suckling pig and the gnocchi with chanterelles tasted excellent, but the portion size could certainly be improved. We got the last room on 16 July & it was a suite with a great balcony! The dinner at the restaurant was superb as was breakfast! Super friendly and would love to go back to explore more & enjoy the Spa. Amazing!

The room is old, the breakfast is OK, quite rich. The weather was bad, so I didn't have time to go to the lake. I can only come back next time when the weather is good... The price-performance ratio is OK.

The Garden Hotel Reinhart has more than earned its classification. Discovered it while passing through. Excellent lakeside location. Highly trained staff, well-maintained property, beautiful rooms, and a solid wellness area. You feel completely comfortable. The chef is skilled at his craft. Not to mention, an exceptional breakfast. Definitely worth it.

Even though the Hotel (especially the rooms) are a bit on the dated side, it's a very nice place to spend a few days while exploring the area. Breakfast was included, which makes up for it being rather basic, and other than a anemic WiFi speed, everything was above and beyond great.

Three buildings AT THE DOCK- the placement is ideal on the water. We had a family room- one of 2 at top floor of the ‘art nouveau’ building closest to dock- we had an entry way, Big bathroom, Massive main room with K bed , closets and 2 chairs, second room with K bed, closet. No fridge, no kettle, no AC, breakfast included on ground floor of nouveau building each morning. Well appointed breakfast.staff...

A beautiful hotel, awsome breakfast, the best location for lots of activities (with a covid test center at the end of the street). Plenty of parking. Reliable WiFi. A communal fridge in the downstairs corridor. A long bike stand outside the main entrance. Lots of local restaurants.

It's a bit pricey for the old rooms, especially bath room, but otherwise ok. Clean rooms and friendly staff.

Friendly and helpful staff. The first impression is good, the hotel looks good. The check in was great, without any problems. The room was spacious and clean. The bed comfortable. Breakfast - a great choice, good coffee. We had an evening meal and it was good, large portion and tasty. The only negative point is that the parking space is not paved.

We had a nice, large room. Location is very good, breakfast is fresh and good. Dinner is also well above average.

Hotel and cafe with great cakes. Nice place for afternoon tea/coffee. Have not tried their savoury menu. Lovely location with Chiemsee Views. Probably a nice place to spend nights.

Good restaurant with delicious food and good service. Located right opposite to the harbour, which made the quest for restaurant (& food) after a day of sightseeing around the lake very pleasant. The Apfelstrudel was delicious; we tried it because of the Strudel day recommendation. I will recommend it to others.

Short walk or taxi from hotel to the ferry landing that takes you around Lake Chiemsee, that allows for a quieter, more relaxing lake experience. Included breakfast buffet was in a beautiful setting. ALL staff were so friendly and helpful. Room had a nice balcony, overlooking the marina, and the lake. Highly recommend!

Beautiful traditional property

The view is beautiful and the food is delicious.

Stayed 2 nights. The bed was a little soft for my liking, but worked well. Breakfast was amazing, the view of the lake and surrounding area was fantastic. We walked to the ferry terminal which is about 1k (1/2 m) away. 4-5 dining options were also available near the terminal. The hot tub is outside the pool area, everything is very well kept.

A very beautiful place to stay. The free buffet was the best we have ever seen. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will diffinately return.

The food is really good and the rooms are nice. There are a lot of staff in training and the management feels rather chaotic but overall there is barely anything to complain about.
