The rooms are very clean - a bit traveling back in time - with newly renovated bathrooms. Dog was allowed after request. Card payment possible. Located right next to various hiking rounds - we did not need to take the car.

We have stayed here on our biking trips for at least 6 times now. One of the best hotels we have stayed at ! Fantastic food,great value, spotlessly clean and great service , not to mention it is in one of the nicest parts of Germany. George, mum and co, we will be back !

The rooms are modern, very clean and have everything one needs. There was a desk with two chairs, a closet and even a small balcony. The staff was extremely friendly and we were able to work in the newly created open work space. Breakfast is decent, not huge but nice options and everything was tasty.

The hotels location is perfect. Its clean. In checking however took us more than half an hour. I would suggest to also have an option to check in at the main desk. This would be way more customer friendly

A pleasant experience with a few minor caveats. The rooms were clean with a few odd spots on the carpet. The bathroom was clean with the amenities being well stocked. The bed was comfortable and the charging points were conveniently placed. The only few problems were the air conditioning and the coffee machine. We had booked a 5 night stay - the room was a little on the small side for 2 people navigating, but efficient. A small fridge would be a great addition to the room. Location is great - walking distance to restaurants/shopping and the train station. The only draw back we found is that there is no physical person that can be addressed - all communication goes through a central office not located in town...

We had a wonderful stay at Jagerhaus. Clean, spacious, accommodating. Breakfasts and dinners are the best we've had during our travels in the Black Forest. The sauna is HOT and a dive in the freezing water of the pool topped it off. Can't wait to come back for Christmas. Thank you, Ava!

Wonderful place, we stayed several nights, used their sauna, and ate breakfast and supper there. Staff is wonderful and attentive. Place is spotless and well maintained. Rooms are comfortable and ample. We enjoyed hiking and traveling around the area.

This is a charming and pleasant inn. It is clean and well maintained. We however found the bed mattresses to be saggy and lumpy. It’s important to know that the church clock across the road does ring out every quarter hour and the hour on the hour. Found the breakfast to be basic but good with some excellent bread and rolls.

We stayed here as a family of 4 and we all very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Hirschen in Sankt Peter. A lovely peaceful village and a really brilliant small hotel. The staff were very friendly and the evening dinner and breakfast were wonderful. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and at a very reasonable price. An excellent base for exploring the wonders of the Black Forest.

Stopped by for a 🍷 drink at sunset as they have a nice terrace overlooking the rooftops and area. It was a nice wine. Just an FYI it is a bit upscale.

We loved our stay. It was cozy, welcoming, comfortable and refined. They tidy your room while at breakfast, have homemade cookies to offer with afternoon tea, and the restaurant was superb. The gym equipment was disappointing, however, we would love to come back.

Hotel Löwen by Mastiff is one of the best placed I stayed ever. The location is stunning, staff is really good and great food. The hotel also has great view of Black forest and recreational facilities like pool, ping pong, etc. The heated swimming pool and sauna are icing on the cake. I will strongly recommend Hotel Löwen by Mastiff for all visitors.

Black Forest hotel stay Nice place to stay in the Black Forest region. Clean comfortable room. Check in was a small challenge due to language barrier, but quickly done. Restaurant food and service was great. There is no elevator to second floor in one building, so be prepared to carry your luggage up the set of stairs. The St Margen cloister museum nearby is a must see for any clock enthusiasts.

Three night stay in the Black Forest. Well placed hotel, with good road and public transport connections. Most of the Black Forest is within an hours drive. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Buffet breakfast served till 10am. Ate in the restaurant in the evening, set menu available. Quality of food very good and well presented. Staff very friendly and entertaining.

The hotel has its charm, it is a family hotel, and it is evident that they operate it with love. The staff is very friendly and the swimming pool was very good (a bit cold but enjoyable). The proximity to the park is nice, especially with children because the playgrounds are very nice. Hotel is pet-friendly, which is important for us.

Rita serves a good handmade breakfast. She is very kind, helpful, and polite, and tries to speak English to help the guests, but you should know a little german to get the most from her. The atmosphere is familiar, it's like staying at your grandma's home. Would come back one day if I'll want to visit the black forest again

Great breakfast! Gym is very good with "smith" machine, bench press, heavy dumbells and pull over. Excellent for strenght training. Keep it good please! And let it open 24h. Only lowlight is lack of air conditioning. On summer time must be hard. Everything else was excellent.

Familiar hotel with kind people helping you with all your needs. The room was new and clean, the food at restaurant was really good. We stayed just one night so we could not use all the services offered, like the Sauna or the Gym. Better stay in the area!

There is also a full service restaurant, serving hearty Baden cuisine, which is clearly frequented by locals as well as by hotel guests. Pleasant village setting nestled amongst vineyards and framed by the hills of the Black Forest.

The room was very clean and comfortable! The pre-registration seemed to be a bit much at first, but I'm now assuming that it is so they can prepare a one-day local transit pass and have it ready for you upon check-in. The staff are very hospitable! We stayed a night after spending the day at Europa Park.

This was an absolutely charming location and place to stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and large. The staff were great! Very little English is spoken so be prepared. The day we arrived, a member of the female staff received us in a rather cold manner. She didn't bother to show us our room. The boss ignores us in a masterful way when, for example, we want to go up the stairs; she doesn't move aside when we pass her, nor hello or smile. We spent a wonderful week here. Relaxed and friendly, mien hosts looked after us extremely well. The restaurant had by far the best food we tried in the region.
