Hotel Römerhof, Bingen was recommended by my German friend and rightly so as the experience was fantastic. The place is owned by elderly couple with nice beautiful rooms giving a true German experience. Breakfast is served in the ground floor with a good option of cold and hot breakfast. The owner himself handles the kitchen and cooked eggs for me. This hotel is around 5 minutes drive from the Rhine...

Super helpful staff. Warm and welcoming. The lovely couple that host it do a great job to make you feel like family. Would definitly revisit.

Nice place with friendly staff and walking distance to river cruises. Only problem is that the wifi is min existent in our room.

Clean rooms, bathroom a bit old but is clean, delicious Breakfast and Kaiser family is very hospitable. :)

Nice hotel in a great location. Good and friendly staff. We were there for 2 days when our car broke down heading back home to the Netherlands. The staff helped us in every way possible and made the stay easier for us.

Nice rooms and breakfast

A nice hotel looks so plain from outside, but quite nice inside depending on taste though, not a flashy place. I like particularly their breakfast, I found having a range of lactofree and gluten free options quite amazing as that is not common in hotels except when you ask. Here it was all displayed for one to choose from. I however frowned at the idea of paying to iron my clothes, expected irons...

No air conditioning can make some rooms unbearably uncomfortable. The location however makes this hotel amazing, especially since it is next long the water.

Das gepflegte Hotel liegt Zentral und dennoch sehr ruhig. Tolles sauberes und großes Zimmer. Sehr freundliche Bedienungen und Gastgeber. Frühstück lecker und vieles frisch. Der eigene Kuchen himmlisch.

Coffee & hi-class deserts! We were there during our trip to wine festival. This place has a lot of seating area (in- and outside). They have an enourmous number of tasty sweetdelights from chocolate to cakes - everything looks amazing and tastes even better. The girl, who was taking an order from us was charming and super-polite, she also said that we can pay with card inside & all cakes can be seen...

Very good I was in hospital 5 years ago in bingen and my wife stayed at the hotel we were on a new trip and had to go back for coffee and it was as nice as we remembered, hopefully will come back again

The room was spacious and clean. I only stayed for the night so I have no complaints what so ever. However, the reason what I'm giving this such a high review is the nice couple I ran into while looking for a place to spend the night after I couldn't make it to my train (thanks DB). They called a couple of hotels for me, compared the prices and suggested this one. They've done this at 11 pm for me...

Great, comfy familiar hotel, very reasonable price, very good breakfast, near the the marina and the boat station to sail to Loreley, sightseeing the Rhine castles. Great service, the personnel is very accomodating, courteous. We will be back again.

For the mid range market price, we had a great experience here. Very friendly host staff. A full (and interesting) breakfast buffet and nice clean rooms with a full bath and shower combo. Also was a great location and could walk easily to town or along the lovely waterfront garden.

It's nice place I like it

Tasteful, shabby chic tone-in-tone beachy decoration. Service is friendly but I don't care for their outfits (what looks OK on young slim girls, appears a bit sloppy on overweight male..). Kitchen seems to aim for a star. Lentil soup was delicious because I love spicy, other guests should be made aware. The "Forelle" starter: Nice for summer, but in October I seems more appropriate to have the veggies...

Nice new hotel direct at the rhine river

The room accommodations at 189,- Euro per day was the worst I've ever experienced at that price for a supposedly five (5) star hotel. The room temperature was 33-35 C due to the air conditioner not functioning properly and could not cool areas above the first floor. Our room was on the third floor. It was nearly impossible to sleep the first night. On the second day, the hotel provided a ventilator...

I enjoyed the variety of very creative decorated seated areas you can choose from and the atmosphere was very charming with great lighting all through out the hotel and lobby and restaurant /bars

We were in Bingen by bike and slept here. Nice rooms with air conditioning, delicious breakfast, gladly again.👌

Comfortable and clean room with air conditioning, sumptuous breakfast (we had BB) traffic situation like almost all hotels in the Rhine Valley... Front street behind train... Good with air conditioning, since you can leave the window then. Is a bit retro...in the area, the landscape counts...overall good!!

Very relaxed owner, a bit freestyle but super friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean and quiet, WIFI worked great. Excellent shower. It's all just great value for money. Would definitely go again if needed....
