Where to stay in Thalfang

We spent an incredible weekend at this lovely B&B run ever so lovingly by Raphael and his family. The house is not only gorgeous from the outside but has been painstakingly decked with handpicked things to marry beautiful design and comfort. Everything in our room including the attached bathroom was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Raphael’s excellent breakfast spread was a treat as well. And above...

Interesting B&B concept, in which you can use the living and kitchen area of ​​the host for the delicious breakfast and are also allowed to use it elsewhere. The rooms themselves are nice and large, which also applies to the bathroom that goes with them. The hosts are very nice and give good tips, e.g. where to eat.

Beautifully designed and unique b&b. The customer service was phenomenal and was very personalized. Clean and great food.

So we’re rating 5 stars, because that’s the maximum on Google, but this place deserves 10! Such a lovely host who prepared breakfast at really flexible times (just for the two of us) and also gave us a ride the first night we got there. Also the loveliest and most cuddly dog is to find at Rosenhill. Very cozy and clean rooms with a tasteful interior and only 2 rooms for rent, so it’s super private...

The food was OK, but not more than that. Nothing fancy. Neither of my daughters liked the fish finger or chicken nuggets from the child menu - and to be honest, neither did I - which is quite a remarkable thing to do (not in a positive way). Very nice restaurant next to the Mosel river. You get a lot of food for your money here. Their tiramisu desert is great😃

We had a very nice and casual dinner there, the foods and wines were very tasty and the view is also nice!

Nice hotel that the family runs very nicely. The Lady of the house was very friendly and accommodating even though it was crowded. We ate the 3 course where the starter was a good Swedish inspired soup with stuffed ravioli with reindeermeat.

We spent one night during our Moselle bike tour in Cabinett 1876 and absolutely loved it. Flexible, warm welcome, nice clean rooms and a really great leisurely breakfast. The ambience in the breakfast room is special. In the evening the restaurants were fully booked, so we ordered a pizza to go. In the hotel everything was actually put out for us, plates, cutlery and the cool drinks you could take...

It was a perfect stay all round. A warm welcome and very cozy and nicely decorated.. We would recommend it anytime!

Very pleasant Gästhaus that is lovingly run by a wonderful hostess. The location is wonderfully quiet close to everything you want to visit and experience in this region. Clean, spacious room with lovely bathroom and a great breakfast. The honesty wine bar offers a wide choice of wines produced in the region at very reasonable prices. In short, a lovely place that we highly recommend!

We were lucky enough to be able to celebrate our daughter's communion at Cabinett 1876 this weekend! 🥰 In a wonderful ambience, we were completely taken care of and were able to enjoy the celebration to the fullest! Sehr nette Vermieter, da fühlt man sich wie zu Hause. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und reichhaltig. Mit Zimmerservice und die Handtücher wurden mehrmals gewechselt.

Ausgezeichnetes und üppiges Frühstück. Nicht verzehrte Produkte konnten für Lunchpakete verwendet werden.

Dear Elly, dear Franz, we really enjoyed the overnight stays and the extensive breakfast. You are two warm people who have always been there for us and our dog. We were able to sit in the garden, enjoy your delicious wine and took advantage of your great tip about the outdoor pool. You are in the vineyards in 2 seconds and on the Moselle in 3 minutes, restaurants, gas stations, small shops, ... everything...
