Great Hotel on a hill. Great atmosphere and nice staff. Really something special. Rooms comfertable and all what is needed. I had a nice view on the park that was below the hotel. Also nice restaurant in the hotel which makes that you have everything you need close.
Incredibly warm welcome from the very friendly and helpful receptionist. I was even allowed into my room earlier, which was very nice and very spacious. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a beautiful location and has a really great atmosphere! Always happy to be totally relaxing there again!

This was my second visit, I can 100% recommend it. What a great service.
We had booked a wheelchair user and I, 75 years old, for 5 days.
Great apartment, very nice friendly people. A super good kitchen, our food was even brought to the apartment by the boss.
It tasted really great.
And finally, the boss helped me secure the wheelchair in the handicapped vehicle. I thought that something like that no longer exists today, but it does at Ohlenforst.
I can only recommend it...

Beautiful restaurant and very tasty food, the owners and staff are so helpful and very welcoming and went above and beyond with our order, excellent service, would certainly recommend.
If you are staying in the area,this establishment is a must do ! The appartments are brilliant. The village is still lovely even by todays standards.

fantastic couple who run this place, I was here visiting family and traveled from England, exceptional hospitality. we had to check out very early at 3am so we missed breakfast, the hosts left on our apartment door a snack bag for the road and some treats for my niece.
Amazing hotel, is very quiet and private. The hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was amazing and quite extensive.
Room, beds, food, wine all simply perfect.

We were allowed to Sept. 16 a weekend in the citizen tube spend. Rooms were good, food was very good, the host couple Monika + Peter very warm and friendly. The house was the starting point for many Cycling tours. for example, Roermond. We will come back.

Rooms were small and accommodating, not much you can change at a Historical site, so keep that in mind. Owners were awesome and the food we had was great to include the excellent breakfast. Very nice accommodation, super rich breakfast and super nice owner, we would love to come back.
Accurate and complete rooms in detail. Friendly staff, a surprising terrace inside. The breakfast is plentiful, you can smoke on the balconies outside the rooms without having to leave the hotel. I certainly know where to stay when I return to these parts!

The location is great. Bus station and Train station just a stones throw away form the hotel. The owners and staff very friendly. They certainly made us feel at home and welcoming.

I've been to a five-star hotel, but there was no friendlier place than here. You charged my car in the rain for my car, which ran out of batteries on a rainy day. Thank you again. Thanks to you, I'm bringing good memories to Germany.
Perfect place..very friendly personal, breakfast buffet every day and great offers, if you like food you will be a fan...check the photos to see dome offers.
We had to do a late check in and the person at the front desk, was so nice with us.
Reasonable sized rooms, with good beds. Hotel could use a upgrade interior wise.
We where there in the summer heat and with no air conditioning or a fan the room temperature was beyond comfortable, even with the windows open.

The room and bathroom are very clean, the cleaning lady came every day, beds were comfy!
It's located in the center, so everything you need is reachable in couple of minutes walking.
Very clean, well furnished and modern. The staff can respond to requests at very short notice and implement them quickly. As far as I know, the hotel itself does not have its own parking spaces, but this is not a problem in any way. There are tons of affordable parking spaces around the hotel.

Very nice hotel, which cannot be topped in the immediate vicinity. The bathrooms are huge and invite you to linger.
It was very pleasant there.
The only downside was that my room was on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator.
Had a big heavy suitcase. The sports program was also done for the day.
But all in all I was very happy.
Gladly again.

Happened to get stuck in Heinsberg during my bike trip through the west-German region. Asked some local people where I could stay for a night, who recommended this lovely hotel. Having made no reservation, I was nevertheless greeted with a warm welcome, a good dinner, and a tall beer. All for a reasonable price.

Rooms are very nice & clean. Would have liked coffee/tea facilities in the room.
Breakfast was nice, didn't have the cooked just fruit & yoghurt with some very nice bread.

This is a lovely friendly family run hotel. Rooms and service brilliant. Fridge in downstairs area provided for guests for their own use. Breakfast really good, even cooking gluten free bread rolls to cater for allergy. Free car parking. Highly recommend a stay here.

Unless you're staying there for the football. You're way outta town. Rooms were cool, although the large murals of the legendary football players heads, initially was brilliant... But weird at night. It felt like they were staring at you.

The hotel is very new and close to the football field, suitable for football fans.

Nice Hotel with friendly staff, good breakfast. Away from the center but perfect if you wanna go to the stadium.
Only real downside. No one there if you arrive late and no air conditioning. It was really hot the days i soent there and the temperature in the room was unbearable
Good location for soccer and concerts in the Nordpark area.
Nice facility. Really close to the Borussia Monchengladbach stadium although not real close to town.
Only issue I had was wifi didn't work for most of the stay there.

Not been back in the Tannenhof for many years. But when we were on duty in the nearby Ayrshire Barracks we always enjoyed this nice hotel. The food. The draft beers.

Cosy and comfortable rooms, hospitable hosts, convenient location. I already stayed in Tannenhof several times and plan to come back again.
We know the Tannenhof for many years. And are Happy that it's still family run and doing well. In the old BAOR garrison years myself and some staff used to almost live in this nice quiet and laid back hotel.
A clean, small, family-run hotel on the outskirts of Mönchengladbach.
The ride to the city takes a moment, but it is close to the stadium and a growing commercial area.
They only serve breakfast, so be prepared to get your warm meals elsewhere. A supermarket is nearby.
The charge for WiFi, but the prices are all right.

We spent a football weekend at this hotel. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, although they are in need of some renovation. The furniture is a bit dated, but this doesn't affect the comfort. We particularly enjoyed the excellent breakfast – a great start to the day.
Unfortunately, everything is very old and worn. Stained floors. Unpleasant smells. Dirty elevator. Very old room furnishings. Not enough parking spaces.
The hotel is nice, clean, sanitary, no noise, and the service is pretty good
Quiet location. Boy at reception was not friendly.
