Where to stay in Wertheim

Stayed for the night during a multi-day car trip. My experiences are limited to checking in, taking a shower and sleeping. The hotel was very clean, the room was spacious and clean. The hotel employee spoke good English and was helpful. I would absolutely come back again.

I do not recognise the negative vibe a lot of other travelers are experiencing. The hotel is simply, but complete and clean. It is typically suited for people who afe travelling on. We stayed in the hotel just to rest overnight on our travels. The room was lovely, easy self check-in machine, parking €5. McDonald's opposite to the hotel. The staff was really friendly. The only problem was that the room was little warm, we slept with open windows. Beautiful surroundings.

Stayed one night to go to the outlet mall. Breakfast was very simple and ended at 09:30, which was too early.

A very convenient express hotel, very close to the shopping village and one hour from Frankfurt Airport. Parking is very convenient, it has its own parking lot and the parking fee is five euros a day!

The hotel has a great location; if you're going to an outlet mall, this hotel is the best choice.

This hotel was very nice with a good breakfast bar. The restaurant is closed but they still are doing breakfast every morning. The room was nice and cozy but I do suggest bringing your own shampoo and body wash because there soap seems like just hand soap, 🤭

I actually broke down nearby and stayed here while waiting for parts. Breakfast was lovely and the restaurant area was very well layed out The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. My host Jenny was lovely and even gave me a lift to the nearby Toyota garage to collect my car.

It's a medium budget hotel, Breakfast service is very good but lunch and dinner not offered.

This sleepy German town offers much! This hotel is not only charming, the staff, oh my God, warm and inviting. I didn't know what to expect arriving 2 in the morning and everything closed. The proprietor, makes me a ham and cheese plate to feed me in the middle of the night. AMAZING.

Right in the centre of the historical part of Wertheim. Room was comfortable and cosy, quiet. WIFI was working great. I was asked what I wanted for breakfast the next day, and it was all there when I arrived. I could order more from a menu, it was all included.

Two beautifully renovated holiday apartments, conveniently located, 20 m to the Main cycle path, 200 m to the beer garden directly on the Main with a beautiful view, good WiFi connection, patio in the small front yard

Spacious attic room with hot strong shower. Good coffee machine. Comfy bed. Complete silence in the room was very refreshing. WiFi signal was very weak, but that was the only problem.

Very nice place with many flammkuchen options and local tap beer. The waiters were very nice to us and spoke good English. Our order was served very quickly. We sat on the terrace, which is very cozy, and has both sunny and shaded tables. We were able to pay by card. The food is not fancy, but it is good, and the overall experience eas very pleasant.

Very good accommodation, located just outside of Wertheim. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The only drawback is that the rooms are accessed via stairs. But maybe I didn't look closely. But both the breakfast and the bed were very good. We will definitely come back.

The hotel is about 10 minutes from the old town. Quiet location, big car park, not noisy. Rooms are a good size, clean, aircon for the hot days. We had room 14, balcony just above the entry way into the residence area. You can open the window if you wish. I stayed at this inn/hotel for an overnight stay at the end of January 2023 on business. Check-in and check-out were super quick. The room was very large, very comfortably furnished and, like 90% of all rooms there, had a large balcony. The bathroom/toilet was also large and very clean. Nach einer langen Radtour im strömendem Regen wurde ich von Valentina sehr freundlich empfangen und mit einem großen Zimmer belohnt. Glücklicherweise hat bereits die Heizung im Bad funktioniert, so dass ich meine völlig durchnässten Sachen trocknen konnte.

Mir hat die kominikation gut gefallen. Einfache und sauber Abwicklung. Vertrauens würdiges rüber kommen.

We slept in one of the super cosy and warm barrels, with a comfortable bed. It was a nice experience! Also the view on the lake was Wonderful! The bathroom facilities are new and were super clean and taken care of. To get the key after 18:00 is no problem, and in the morning the lady at the front desk is happy to help with any questions!

Lovely site next to river. Good facilities. Some pitches a little small. Riverside pitches need 2 mains cables to get electricity. Snack bar on side for eat in or takeaway. Supermarket 10 minute walk. Fuel 2 minute drive

Das Appartment verfügt über eine neue und moderne Einrichtung. Es liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend, ist verkehrstechnisch jedoch sehr gut angebunden.

Small but fine! I travel a lot and have seen many good Hotels. This is voices, such as a piece of jewelry with all the Details. Real relaxation and Well-being directly on the Main with great view - again and again!

The BELLA RIVA Hotel is not only situated beautifully on the Main, as a frequent traveller you feel directly probably and arrived! Due to the great tag to the The Boutique Hotel is all on the latest state of the art and of course everything is very well maintained. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired! All around very satisfied and recommended.

At Bella Riva, you can stay really very pleasant. The rooms are very nice, the Service of Mrs Fleischmann is excellent. I filled me in sister hotel Fischerhof well and do it since it is the Bella Riva. I always like to come back

What a great place - stopped over one night on drive from Hungary to the UK. Right in the centre of a beautiful old town close to the river, with restaurant & bar in front - great for a fine summer evenings. Friendly people, good price, great breakfast - we will return.

Simple, clean and quiet. No lift, I had to climb two rather steep stairs. Breakfast was reasonable. Dinner options are limited to the next door Turkish snackbar, which act as a restaurant by making available the hotel's breakfast room. Personel was very friendly.

Overnight Getaway Small hotel with a very helpful staff!! Very clean and well-appointed. Room was small but had a balcony, and overlooked the parking area.The breakfast was seriously unbelievable for €7 pp (pic attached). They just took my Rathaus parking ticket and paid my overnight parking, for me. Awesome restaurant around the corner for Schaüfele (Braüstüble). Pretty little Bavarian town!

Business stay The overall hotel looks great! However the room given must have been an older one as it looked nothing like the images that had incited me to book 2 rooms for. Business trip. Actually smelt old. Bathroom though had been modernised with a wet room and was great. Staff were excellent. Didn't have a steam iron! Just dry irons which meant I had to wet a towel to dampen the clothing...

A comfortable and well located hotel, favourite place to stay when on business in Marktheidenfeld. Breakfast a real treat with a great spread of sweet and savoury options. Good value for money and reliable as Inhave stayed here 6-8 times in the last 10 years.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is located away from the hustle and bustle but is within short walking distance of the main street. The room was quiet, spacious, clean and recently modernized. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant served excellent dishes and the service was most efficient.

Clean and orderly. Just a few minutes' walk to lovely restaurants and the Miltenberg Stadt Museum. Well-equipped rooms, very quiet and comfortable. I stayed for 5 nights. The location is also very convenient as you can go anywhere by bus. Commuting within the city was very easy.

Favourite place that we visit every tome we are in Miltenberg. The place looks beautiful. Never been accommodated here though. The staff is nice and everything worked as smooth as could even in Covid era. I miss the pfanne with all the meat and sausages. Disappeared from the menu some time ago and it was the best this place can offer. No matter, you can choose from variety of great foods 😋

It was nice, the lemonade was not natural, is more like Sprite, I expected a handmade one so it's nice to know it is not handmade. The amount of food was nice. It is not overpriced, I find it nice, as regular, as expected. It has healthy vegetarian plate too. They work on a pandemic precautions fine, and desinfect the tables before you sit. The waiters are so nice :)

The most typical and genuine German restaurant. One of the oldest Gasthauses in Germany and one of the best there is. Loved it!

Quick one-night stay Quaint hotel in the center of town. The room definitely played into the history of the town, sticking to the exposed timbers and cozy feel. The bathroom however looked BRAND new, which was appreciated.

The hotel is located in rhe centre of medieval town and dates from that period. We decided to eat in for dinner and we very pleased that we did so. The food was very good and fairly-priced.

Very nice hotel in good location. It is charming and has very helpful staff. If you are looking for modern chain hotel it is not for you. If you are looking for family driven hotel you should stay in Jagdhotel. Graundfloor nicely renovated. See pictures. My room was older but with real wooden furniture. Everyone was very friendly, we arrived late and the women working the front desk offered to make us a reservation so we could just drop our bags and go eat. The rooms were spacious, we had a balcony that was great for having a drink and watching the stars in the evening.

In our bicycle journeys across Europe we stay at about 80 - 90 hotels each year . There are only a few that we make a special effort to stop at more than once . This one is a hidden gem. This one is a hidden gem! The service quality it top tier, as you would expect from a "Fineschmecker" awarded restaurant. The rooms are rustical, extremely clean, with black-out courtains (for me a crucial point to get a great night sleep). Breakfast service is great, sufficient variaty. Even if the location is semi-secluded, you will be rewarded by birds singing in the morning...

If you look for atmosphere, quiet and location where you leave the place to walk, hike or jog (in essence for something different), look no further. And then, there is the library! The perfect hang-out to unwind. It is not what you are used from your standard North American hotel chain. Rooms are very clean, breakfast buffet is great. I am returning since 20 years, its well worth it.

We were able to reserve rooms her for us and a friend. They were quiet flexible with us, allowing the friend to share a spot at the table for breakfast even though he was not a hotel guest( he paid for his breakfast of course 16 euro). Rooms were clean and tidy. Unfortunately no real dark curtains to prevent sunlight (bring a sleeping mask if that bothers you). One star less for the breakfast logistics...

Hotel am Main is in the perfect location. Steps away from a few charming cafes and a biergarten. We loved having drinks by the beautiful river and then strolling the lovely town. The hotel was clean, friendly and the breakfast was plentiful. I would stay here again.

A bit outdated but a lot of character. Super clean and a very courteous staff. Kind of reminded me of a ski hotel in the Alps I used to stay at in the 80s. I guess you could say “nostalgic“. Good location This is our third time staying at this hotel as it is perfectly positioned for travelling between Hungary and Rotterdam. Friendly reception, easy check in and nice room but it was so hot. The rooms could do with at least a fan in when it’s this hot. The toilet flush needs to be repaired too as it trickled all night.

The hotel and our room were clean and comfortable. The location was excellent. We appreciated the free breakfast and parking. We were surprised that our room wasn’t cleaned on the one day we were there and that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

I would say that it is a regular hotel with high prices.Room was located on the roof level,not very spacious but relatively clean.Defenetely I would choose another hotel in Wuerzburg area ,but was one of the few available .

Beautiful room. Hotel in quiet neighborhood with easy walk to Rokokogarten. Wonderful breakfast. Friendly staff.

I stayed here for 1 night in september 2022. The room had a quiet location and the room was clean. I slept well here. There is a small selection for brekafast, but it will fill you up. The rooms are not airconditioned.

Fantastic Location right in the middle of beautiful Veitshöchheim! Free parking, excellent breakfast und super friendly staff. When I asked for a late check out as I had to join a video conference at short notice. That was not a problem. Extra ordinary, customer service!

I had a wonderful stay at the Wiesses Lamm. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect.

We had a comfortable stay. Our room was extremely clean and the food in the restaurant was excellent. We intend to return in the near future and will stay for longer to explore the area.

We were only able to stay one night but wish we had more. Hotel is wonderful and the Resturant was excellent as well! Can't say enough really, we loved it and hope to return soon for a longer stay.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay in the new rooms. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had a large luncheon with 10 more than planned & the chef made accommodations. Breakfast buffet was nice. As with all hotels across the globe, staff was short but they were still friendly and efficient. The hotel is convenient to walking to river and throughout the town. Because we often land at Würzburg Airfield for work, I was glad to have found this hotel nearby. However, the experience was so so. Service was fine- the food is basically cafeteria style but the waiter brings it to you. I had the chicken and risotto with mushrooms. Obviously the chicken was pre cooked had been sitting in a hot pan waiting for someone to order it. I found it cooked to almost mush but edible with the risotto. Hubby ordered pork with radish and dumpling. He said it was fine.

I stayed here one night while traveling to Austria. The hotel is very nice with clean rooms and nice beds. Breakfast was very extensive. The village Veitshöchheim offers a beautiful Rokokogarten with an impressive palace.

We had a very pleasant overnight stay, after a long trip, with very kind, friendly and humble host. They even offered to make for us a warm pizza in case we arrived when the restaurant was already closed. The property is neat, spotless and easy to access. We highly recommend it.

Average. Sometimes really good. Sometimes really bad. Don't know why and it also depends on the kind of food ordered. Alcoholic beverages are fine though.

Hospitality is great. And we lived the swordfish as dinner. And... very nice to our dogs, they were allowed in the restaurant.

Clean but in need of repair. Rather overpriced for what it is, and the restaurant is shnizel or pizza. Best thing about it is its the other side of the river so away from town noise. Also walking distance from the braugarten by the river where there is excellent and cheap real Bavarian food and beer
