Not at its best during COVID - all hotels are impacted during COVID with special measures, we got it and this seems what the hotel staff want us to believe. Fortunately Vienna House was the last stop during our two weeks holiday trip in Switzerland, Italy and Germany at various 4 star hotels, Vienna House seems the most unprepared. A luxurious and innovative hotel. Spacious rooms with lovely green views. Must visit the nearby Leica Museum. About 60 meters from the hotel there is a small shop for morning newspaper drinks and sandwiches. The only downside is the location away from the city. It is recommended to have a car.

Nice hotel, new and clean, staff polite and spoke good English. Bar was good but closed at 10pm. The hotel reception area had a very bad smell of bad eggs, think the drains needed checking. Good underground parking.

Super friendly Staff and always helpful. Terrace was lovely for drinks and the nearby running river provided a relaxing atmosphere. Rooms were clean and Hotel is centrally located for a city tour of the old city or trip to the mall all within short walking distance.

Nice hotel near my work and less than a 10 minute walk from the old city. The staff is excellent here, they work really hard and are very helpful. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and has everything you could want and more. Great value here as well.

Hotel is quite near the centre and to the Altstadt. Room had everything including tea and coffee facilities, and was clean. Comfortable beds too. Also underground car parking was nice to have. Nice breakfast, friendly staff.

Love this little gem in the heart of downtown Wetzlar. No elevator, so would not be the best choice for some one who is physical disabled. Staff verrrrrrrry warm and accommodating. Very nice business hotel at a very convenient place. Very near to the main station and walking distance to the old town. Rooms are good. The hotel also has a parking lot. Also surrounded by few good restaurants that serve Italian, Thai, Turkish, German, indian food. Breakfast is good. Only limitation is that they do not serve lunch or dinner.

Friendly English speaking staff, decent breakfast, no traffic noise in room due to double layer window. Staff were able to help me with my desk being too far from the power socket, 5/5 service. Decent room for the price tag. Wifi may be weak in certain rooms.

Although the location of the hotel isn't super idyllic, the hotel itself surprised me. I arrived late in the evening, the person at the desk was very friendly and the room was just great and parking is free. I would have loved to stay more than one night. Fun fact : none of the nicely designed drawers actually open ;)

All you need to stay the night and have a breakfast. In the room is no feature at all to have a drink. A tea or coffee would be appreciated in the room.

Budget Hotel, but 5star welcome and service. Very comfortable,firm bed provided an excellent night's sleep. Varied breakfast choices, crispy rolls, cereals, jams,honey, cold meats, cheeses, bookended by orange juice and excellent coffee. A friendly goodbye, and yes, we will stop again.

We were overall happy with the stay. The location of the hotel is Top. The rooms should be cabins improved in order to shower the one or the other. All in all a good Hotel

Perfectly accessible by car, with very good Parking facilities. Despite the proximity to the A485 and it is available in the Hotel with the window closed, wonderfully quiet. You can sleep so well, and starts with a delicious Breakfast and a very nice condition (from Switzerland? ) in a new day. Dogs with their owners are also welcomed!

Clean room. There was a distinctive fresh fragrance in the bathroom. The style is quite old school, but the beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet. You have radiators rather than AC which I personally prefer. Breakfast was good. Better than some 3 star hotels. Good variety of continental items including salmon and different cheeses. In the last 25 years, X times stayed here. Why? Because we like it here, because everything fits. Staff, Service, room, Wi-Fi, Breakfast, all TOP. Also, an Asian Restaurant located in the house. What more can you want.

A lovely Guesthouse on the Lahn. Very convenient to Giessen for Business and close to the river for a walk. Just watch out that reception closes early, better to make advance arrangements in case of flight delays.

Lovely little hotel in a nice setting along the river. Great food. Sunday evening in winter I think they have candlelight dinners in front of the fire. Danny, Matthew and the rest really took great care of me. They have roulade on the menu that it's fabulous.

Restaurant: Friendly staff and food was very good. Most importantly they appreciate critique. The room itself was rather dark, but homely. Hotel: Same goes for the staff here. Beds are just right, warm water took some time tho. Wlan on third floor wasnt really good but depends on the room you are in. Breakfast was fantastic! I would definately go there again.

Beautiful light, neat and clean rooms with a balcony. Friendly staff and a rich Breakfast. Delicious. I felt immediately at ease. At the Hotel itself, there is nothing to complain about. It was because of the road a little noisy for sleeping but we are in the city, and earplugs are at the ready. I would come back at any time.

Good hotel (self catering) but not suited for business travellers. Too far away from amenities if you wanted a drink with your dinner. Owner is very helpful, I would stay again if I was not working.

Our stay for the weekend was okay. Things to keep in mind : the curtains do not keep the light out! (especially in a room at the hotel's sign..). The website says there is always coffee : not true. The breakfast is rather limited + the eggs are often cold.

The hotel is OK for one night stays, but I wouldn't want to spend more time there. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. Breakfast was good as well. The hotel in general just needs a modernization. There are two available outlets, all of them far away from the bed/living area. The mattress was soft and had seen its better days. Overall OK, but needs some improvement.

Old country hotel, but everything was clean, the room was very good, the bathroom seems to have been renovated not that long ago. An interesting symbiosis of old elements and new ones. Restaurant with very good grill meat

The food of the restaurant is excellent, the owner and the personnel are friendly, they keep always the tables clean. If you happen to be on a visit in Friedrichsdorf, you must visit this place. I recommend the mix dish, which is a plate of different mix, rice and French fries.

I love coming here for a nicer than normal meal. Such a friendly staff and the food is prepared quick and it's delicious. Highly recommend the hollandaise sauce and they cook up the meat just the way you want. Great with kids too. Overall just a wonderful restaurant with lovely ambiance.

Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms are well priced, however the hotel is dated and needs a refurb. Temperature control in the rooms didn't really work, had to sleep with windows open, lamps above the bed didn't work, tv had only one English channel (news) (I know its Germany but typically accor hotels you expect 2 - 3) etc etc

I stayed in studio room. It has kitchen with electric stove, a fridge and basic utensils for cooking. Bathroom is bit small but clean. Its quite peaceful location within 5 mins walk there is supermarket. There is an Asian restaurant and a cafe and an Italian restaurant in less than 100 mtrs. A small play area for children is within walkable distance. I liked the hotel except I faced only one problem...

Pretty basic. Clean and unfussy. Free WiFi requiring a print out ticket from reception for every connection. Reception open from 06:30 to 22:00 each day. Very friendly reception staff. Duvet cover didn't stretch over the width of the bed, so felt a bit like camping. TV is the size of a standard computer monitor.

I actually liked this hotel! It is the best option for people who still haven’t found an accommodation or waiting for place to stay. Very clean and nicely decorated rooms (Miro, Chagall,...) good beds. Shared bathrooms and WC also clean and well equipped. If you arrive after 7 p.m. you get a number key to open the box with a card. All well organized.

Room is not very clean, but nice staff

This hotel is a sad place. It has no atmosphere or personal character at all. It is a typical investment hotel, built into a former parking garage, completely impersonal and everywhere looks the same. The price of 140 euros for a small room for one person is far too high. You can get much nicer accommodation for that in the beautiful town of Marburg. Unfortunately, they were all fully booked that weekend

This was the first time I stayed in B&B in Marburg and found the location to be excellent. The staff were very friendly and extremely accommodating to our requests. I would not hesitate to recommend or stay at this hotel again.

In terms of price, the CP value is OK. The location is in an alley in downtown Marlborough. Find peace amidst the noise. The only drawback is that the bed is too small. The bathroom is rather large. Cleanliness is also good.

Would stay there again Perfectly located hotel a few minutes walk straight from the train station and near nice cafes and restaurants. Standard rooms, standard service and big breakfast. No bar or lounge rooms but cute little details like good night stories and a small gift if you choose not to have your room cleaned every day. I would stay there again and do recommend.

Great central location and wonderfully welcoming staff. The rooms are very modern and clean, I think they have just been refurbished last year. Also: amazing breakfast! When I mentioned I was vegan I was immediately presented with soya milk and even a selection of vegan cheese and breakfast meat options (yes, us Germans even when vegan need our sausages and cold cuts for breakfast). Clean family owned hotel that lies closely to the main station. A bus stop is right in front of the building. Prices are reasonable and the rooms are comfortable.

We were in a suite with a view of river, it was neat and clean. The kitchen had utensils to cook something quick. I did not like the twin bed and it was a bit small than usual. Reaching the hotel was easy, there is a restaurant on premises, the morning breakfast had many variety and fresh fruits and drinks. I enjoyed the stay while working.

Nice hotel but our appartment was a big disappointment. Not so spacious as advertised (for family) and no airconditioning in the sleeping room. The temparature in the room was too high for a good night rest. Also, for a family friendly hotel we would have expected a (simple) playground/-corner/-room on the hotel premises.
