Hotel Südstrand Amrum

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient. However, I encountered a few issues: the internet did not work at all during my stay, which was quite frustrating, and the heating system struggled to keep up with the cold temperatures at night. If these aspects were improved, the experience would be excellent!

We spent a wonderful break on the beautiful island and stayed at the Hotel Südstrand for the first time.
We received a warm and friendly welcome, and everything was excellently organized.
We felt incredibly comfortable from the very first moment.
Very clean, comfortable, and the breakfast left nothing to be desired.
Everyone we met was so friendly, and we've now found a new favorite place on the island!

I stayed at the hotel for three nights. The room was well-equipped. The staff and service were simply fantastic. Super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was equally great. They had everything, including freshly prepared scrambled eggs.
The location is great, with everything easily accessible. I would gladly return.

A very pleasant, relaxed atmosphere, very friendly and open interaction, and very accommodating. You immediately feel at home, comfortable, and well looked after. My apartment was furnished with great attention to detail, clean, and spacious. The breakfast was exceptionally varied, plentiful, and delicious. If I could have, I would have stayed longer. ☺️

Stayed in this hotel for 4days with a broken foot finger by car accident. The room was cozy, clean, and nice color interior which I liked very much. More than that, the people in this hotel was extremely kind. They brought me selection of breakfast to my table as I had a difficulty to walk with my foot injury. Also they kindly kept my ice bags to cool my foot and broght them to my room several times to change them. On the last day when I needed to leave the hotel very early due to the Ferry time, the hotel made a breakfast box ready with a heart-warming personal message hand-written by the hotel owner. Thank you Team! I really appreciate your warm-hearted kindness. Coming from Japan and got into such an accident, but I left the island with my heart filled with warmth. I am recovering well!

The entire staff and the boss are lovely and try extremely hard to make you feel comfortable and it will be a fantastic holiday. Before booking, you get quick answers to open questions by email. Service comes first: The lactose-free yogurt was out, the boss immediately organized one for me. In the afternoon he immediately ordered new L free groceries. The buffet leaves nothing to be desired. The apartment is clean and very well furnished, highly recommended for dog owners as everyone likes dogs here. You could even go into the room with our dog when we weren't there, which was a nice change for my dog ​​and he had company. He's older and couldn't go on long adventures. The boss is always available for tips about the island. Every morning there is a post on the breakfast table so that you are up to date. The interaction between boss and staff is also pleasant, appreciative and polite, which I really appreciate.
The beach is just across the dike. Great quiet location. For us, one of the most pleasant and finest hotels in which we were allowed to be guests. Many thanks to the entire crew!
