Beautiful hotel on the outskirts of the city, restaurant and bar was outstanding with the whole crew friendly and helpful. Missing one star due to my room not being able to control the temp and got quite chilly at night also didn't understand why the electric stayed on when I left my room. Normally you have a place to insert your card but I had none.

The best staff I have ever had help us! We showed up late and they still served us dinner and made us warm drink too warm up after 12 hours on bicycle! Room was great and we slept amazingly also! Nice clean rooms, nice breakfast, but hostess is no longer friendly if we didn't buy wine from them. In the evening it is not allowed to sit in the guest room and it is not possible to get coffee, tea or soft drinks.

Thank you for the week! We have fond memories of the Löwen family. Both the senior citizens and the boss made every effort and looked after the guests. Ms. Müller is a warm woman who made you feel like she was having fun at her work. We had a clean room with a TV and a double bed. A fantastic experience at a truly medieval castle. We stayed for a few nights in the "Carriage House." Beautiful in every way. The resturant is a bit expensive for our tastes, but the food was fantastic.

No need to write lots - great hotel, staff, food and atmosphere, their wine tasting room next door has 5 Gault and Millau grapes... that's pretty much says it all. On or off season, it's amazing.

Couldn't stay here unfortunately because of an overbooking but the owner more than made up for it by putting us up in another place in town and treating us at the restaurant, which by the way was delicious. You can eat on a beautiful terrace overlooking the stream and the food is great.

We had a very nice room with a roof terrace and a view of the Moselle, everything was clean and well-kept. It's a historic building, so I can see the light soundproofing in the rooms. The only drawback, we booked with a dog. Breakfast included. But the dog is not allowed to stay alone in the room? A Gem of a Place Beautiful location overlooking the Mosel River. Park the car in the public lot and walk about 300 meters to the hotel. Room key is in the lockbox and easy to access once you have the code. We had breakfast at the restaurant located down the street from the hotel and it was fantastic. We enjoyed the Weihnachten Festival just down the street from the hotel (100 meters).

The hotel was well positioned and very clean. The staff were professional and friendly and for me they serve the best coffee at their generous breakfast! The Mosel river runs at the end of the road where there are cycling/jogging paths.
