Nicely positioned hotel in the middle of Steinhude, a 2 minute walk to the waters edge. Check in and check out were very professional. Breakfast was excellent. Room was well appointed however: Funny smell in bathroom, a knob missing from the thermostat and a mystery door which we discovered led to the next room with a mattress stuffed between it all that seperates you from your neighbours.

Nice and clean, good staff, close to everything around here , bicycle rent. No restuarant but there is plenty outside the door.

Simple hotel that is very close to the Steinhuder Meer. Everything was clean, the room was unfortunately very badly soundproofed, you could even hear people snoring in the next room. Breakfast cheap and good. Parking lot without any lighting in the evening. Anyone looking for clean accommodation very close to the water is in good hands here.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast. It was great that you could make coffee and tea in the room, everything was there, including a small fridge. The room was very noisy and we could hear the neighbors' television well, luckily they went to bed early. ;-) Despite the little quirk, very recommendable.

The hotel is really great, especially the great location. It's nicely decorated and very clean. I enjoyed the breakfast in the morning very much, nothing to be desired was left unfulfilled. The hotel is run by a very nice family and is very quiet. No wishes remain unfulfilled at breakfast. Right on the beach promenade, but still not loud. We had our room facing the Steinhuder Meer and the view, especially at sunset, was priceless. All in all a very nice, quiet vacation. Thank you 👍

The staff is very nice, the breakfast delicious. A, however, the bed was very narrow and much too soft for me with 98 kg and 1.89 length. Because of this, I couldn't sleep and was in pain in the morning. But that is individual. Since we like to sleep with the windows open, the nocturnal aircraft noise was very annoying for someone who is otherwise used to a quiet environment.

Standard fair for a German hotel. Clean simple and utilitarian, think a university dorm made with Ikea furniture. Friendly staff. Location has challenges as it is out of the downtown and a 35 minute drive to Hannover Zentrum. If you are just sleeping and doing business somewhere else it will work. Word of warning most of the town has speed cameras and anything over 5km per hour and you will get blinded...

Surprisingly good experience despite the overall rating of the hotel. I can't say that it was absolutely quiet, but the noise from the autobahn wasn't that loud as people mention it in their reviews. The breakfast was also good. Cons: We found only one electric socket in the room, so take your socket splitter with you (we did). Also the price is much higher now than a similar place along the highway...

Ok the hotel is clean, beds are just fine..the way a hotel has to be! BUT there is a man working who made us feel so welcome. It was like a warm bath after a very long terrible road trip. Very nice hotel and good location. The breakfast is excellent and so is the staff and service. The hotel is a former hospital, but you don't notice that anymore. Because of this, the rooms are relatively large. Rooms are also neat and clean. You can go swimming at certain times in the neighboring building (hospital or rehab). Parking is available.

The rooms are easily accessible and homely. Not the most modern but I felt comfortable. There is a large parking space near the hotel, but not directly at the hotel which was fine (5min walk to hotel max.). Breakfast was good and hotel employees always nearby and friendly. We stayed there this weekend with two couples we knew. We felt so comfortable. The owners, Emin and Dagmar Ayyildiz, are so welcoming; we've rarely experienced such hospitality. We loved the Mediterranean ambiance, the fantastic, lovingly prepared dishes, the cozy rooms, and the boules court with the beautiful sun terrace. This is where I will stay every time I come to the area for business. Aparthotel room is spacious with two balconies large enough for two to sit outside and enjoy a drink in the evening. Kitchen has just enough equipment stocked that you can stay a few weeks and feel almost at home cooking many of your own meals. Or you can skip that and keep beer in the refrigerator and eat in their excellent Turkish...

Staff were excellent and very understanding and helpful. We arrived at nearly midnight and we followed the instructions to call when we arrived. Given the code and key was on the desk. The rooms were beside each other with connecting doors as we asked. Bed was comfortable. Handy for transit stay. We would certainly use again. Accommodating for our dog as well, which was hard to find on the road.

Very convenient place for long-distance travelers on a highway. It is just a minute away from it. There are usually free rooms, even without earlier booking. Rooms are spacious and clean, beds are comfortable. Next to the hotel you'll McDonalds and KFC. Price is OK. From the negatives - they do not offer breakfasts. If you smile to the receptionist you may potentially have a chance for a hot drink...

We were here again on January 26th with 15 people to eat kale. It really wasn't our first visit, but by far the funniest and most pleasant, which was not least due to the attentive and friendly service by Mr. Schulze. We all agreed that we have rarely felt so welcome in a restaurant and that we would like to come back. I don't actually have to mention that our food was exceptionally tasty 😉.

Used this Ibis hotel as an overnight stop on our way back to England. Arrived at the hotel just after 10.00pm so we used the self check-in terminal. Room was clean and functional. As with all Ibis budget hotels there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room though there are vending machines available. No lifts so that could be a problem for some. We wanted a hotel by the autobahn and this filled the need nicely. It's a great price but we arrived late and had big problems with the self check-in that was quite stressful and didn't know how to get help. Thankfully, we got into our room eventually. It's a motel, not a hotel - there is no dining room. It is an older facility in an industrial area, not very impressive, but certainly good enough for a night stop. i stayed in a little room with very steep ceiling, bathroom in which i could barely stand to reach the toilet and shower (i'm 174cm).it was during a main exhibition so the rate was really high in my opinion. This hotel has nice looking spacious rooms and friendly staff. It is in a rather industrial part of town, so I wouldn't recommend to stay here unless you need to be in the area.

Just love this place. We're staying there every time were in Hanover. Large rooms, very nice staff, very good breakfast. I didn't give 5 stars because you are not allowed to bring dogs anymore. That used to be perfect for us and our lab mix.

I stop here frequently when traveling north of Prague. For us, a family of 4, it is perfect. For a reasonable price we can use almost an entire floor (two separate rooms and two bathrooms). Much less expensive than a traditional brand hotel.

Has a little outside area with tables you can use and a fridge where you can put your food if needed. We stayed in the apartment which was very spacious, but smelled on some word air refresher.
