I spent a night there & it’s incredibly amazing! The view is perfect, i reserved a room with Nile view. May be if a kettle is available at the room will be a good idea. The lunch was not exactly the ordered one from the menu. No Espresso available there & it’s subsidiary drinks. The menu of the drinks is a lil bit high, the black instant coffee (Nescafe Black) was for 45 EGP. The breakfast is not...

The price was good for the level of accommodation. The rooms are clean and newly painted. The breakfast was minimal and tables weren't really cleaned well between guests. The staff were good.

This floating hotel has the best view ever on the Nile River! It is also a floating café and restaurant. Their staff are polite and professional. Their menu of food and drinks is good and prices are affordable. The only thing I don't like about steam boats is that I gets dizzy by the engine sound and vibration when stay there for a couple of hours.

It was clean with good view and friendly staff. On the other hand, the rooms are small, food and even drinks are not the so good. Wifi connection is only in the lobby!

I booked a triple room and they did not provide me with a bottle of water and a drink (tea/coffee) as a third person in the room despite my request 3 times. I asked for a third glass mug more than once and received a cardboard cup because there were not enough glass mugs for the customers even though the hotel was almost empty of guests. The Grand Aton has seen better days. The location beside the Nile is splendid, the sunset views are lovely, and the rooms are like small villas with porches; but the hotel overall is in urgent need of basic repairs. Rods are missing from walls, e.g., and a lamp with a wobbling bulb had no shade. Still, our room was clean, towels etc. were provided, and the beds were comfortable. Food is uninspired...

It is suitable place during work.

The basic building is old, but the new building is nice and well furnished
