Cluc Hotel

This place is trying hard to be quaint and charming and chic, and mostly succeeds. It has perhaps seen better days however. It requires some tender loving care. The rooms could do with repainting, the shower recess should be tiled, the floors redone (regrouted) and sealed again so they can be properly cleaned...etc. I can't however see an easy solution to the problem of the bedroom doors - very noisy when opening, closing and locking. Time to invest some money I would suggest.

Stunning hotel... beautifully simple yet considered. We couldn't want for more. I will definitely come again.

Perfectly lovely hotel. Situated in an old house in the old quarter of town it was full of charm with stone floors, high ceilings and we could hear the church bells chime the hour and a cellar where breakfast is served. Beds were so comfortable with simple modern ensuite. Breakfast was light and offered artesan cheese, meats, membrillo etc. Great for a short stay.

What a lovely stay we had at the Hotel club in begur! Very kind staff, tasty breakfast and great location to explore the narrow streets of begur as well as nearby beaches if you come by car.

Although the room was small, everything was just right. From the air conditioning, the shower with high water pressure, to the large bed and the comfortable towels. Housed in a historic building with a rich history, Hotel Cluc perfectly integrates modern comfort in its unique boutique style, offering 12 intimate rooms.

Located in the heart of old Begur, it offers a peaceful retreat away from bustling tourist spots. The breakfast was delightful, featuring locally sourced products. The hotel staff, Maria and Victor, were friendly and helpful. They were only present in the morning but were always available for any questions via WhatsApp.

The hotel offers an after-hours check-in with a code system, ensuring convenience for late arrivals. Parking is available around the corner on a large plot equipped with EV chargers from Vilalta Greenery, which is accessible via their app.

The hotel is also ideally situated near various small bays and beaches, reachable by a hearty walk, bus, or car.

All in all, Hotel Cluc is highly recommendable. I would definitely return to this hotel for another stay. Room 8.

Beautiful building, lovely common parts, and rooms stylish in monastic kind of way. Staff friendly, location is great as central but quite, wifi good. However, rooms are small, bathrooms poorly designed and a bit tired. Breakfast ok, rather odd melon (?) juice as the fruit juice. Felt whole hotel needs a bit of imagination to make best of it - eg redesign bathrooms, redesign breakfast area (especially to make some tables possibly outside). Worth staying but with managed expectations as has lots of charm. Just not quite a 4 start experience. (As a side note, front door lock keypad needs to be pressed HARD!)
