It had been a few years since we had dinner at the hotel. The location, ambiance and service has always been excellent but we found the food old fashioned and very heavy. This time we both had fish main course and they were beautifully cooked and full of flavor, while being not to rich and heavy. We will definitely being dining here on our next trip to Aigua Blava.

Amazing location, great service, a bit of an old place that gives is some character. Food is basic not amazing but not to bed. The playa Fonda is a must, just a ten minutes beautiful walk From the hotel. Everything in begur closes at 4 so bring some food with you because the food in the hotel is a bit expensive.

Fairly scenic and close to some secluded beaches. Layout is somewhat funky - prepare for lots of walking - and parking was limited and very tricky. We were unable to dine until 830/845p on a weeknight without a reservation. Also, no coffee in the rooms, which was disappointing. Pool is large, but not heated. What a beautiful place and surroundings down by the sea. Great pool to relax by and with places to walk. Very attentive staff with nice ambience for eating either on the terrace or inside. Generally good hotel. What I like most is its location. Because the hotel faces the bay and the sea itself on both sides of its elongated building. Parking is right at the entrance of the hotel, however a bit crowded with cars and if you arrive late in the evening there are no place available. Rooms are good, but a bit shabby. Breakfast is OK. We went in the first week of January so it wasn't warm (or very busy) but the hotel is in an amazing location and the rooms are spacious and all have sea views. The building is a bit of a modernist icon. Great breakfasts. Would go again.

Beautiful, a treasure of a find! Peaceful, quiet and nice staff. The rooms are comfortable with large bathrooms and balconies/patios. The beach is beautiful. The view from anywhere is spectacular. The breakfast is absolutely worth the money with the selection and the dining hall has amazing views. I'd come back again and stay longer. This is a retreat place for pure do nothing relaxation.

The hotel is located in a beautiful, comfortable, spacious enclave with a very complete restaurant and services. The pool and bathing area is second to none.

Bernat runs a beautiful hotel. The relaxed atmosphere is felt throughout this spacious setting, breakfast served on the terrace under the shade of an architectural canopy of green. Rooms have a view over Aiguablava and mornings are greeted by a chorus of cicadas. The azure waters of the Mediterranean are a hop away. A gem on the Costa Brava.

It is in the center of Begur. Super clean and beautifully decorated. It has large and divine rooms with a super equipped bathroom. Terrace with jacuzzi and solarium. The treatment is excellent. I will repeat without hesitation.

Great position close to the beach and restaurants etc. only two minutes and you are on the sand.Bonus they have parking which is hard to find if you are staying in other accommodations in the area. A beautifully maintained colonial style mansion which is managed in a relaxed and unpretentious way. Very stylish, friendly service and atmosphere and delicious homemade breakfast (including freshly squeezed orange juice which is always a plus!). Couldn't ask for more.

I can only speak to their restaurant as I was not a hotel guest. If the food and hotel service are anything alike then you are in very good hands. The restaurant provides a lovely outdoor seating area surrounded in greenery and if indoor seating is the preference they used glass floor-to-ceiling walls so you can still feel like you’re outdoors. The couple who run it are very nice and attentive. We had the largest room that has the wall of the tower, and the bathroom is very spacious. Very clean, comfortable, modern and a very complete breakfast, with homemade products. We have been in November and we did not enjoy the pool, but in summer it must be great!

The place is amazing. It shows it was a super luxury vacation destination of the 60’s-70’s. Now is a little bit decadent but an amazing location. The views and the “beach” installations are wonderful.
