The staff has been friendly and helpful. I did have to carry my bicycle up two flights of stairs for storage in my roombecause they don't have storageon the ground floor but at least it's not 5 flights of stairs.

Bedrooms are a little sub-par (2-3 star) but the location is good and the owners/staff are friendly.

Rooms location and the pool are all perfect. Breakfast with a vieuw over the beach and sea. Direct acces to the beach and for a nice price.

Very good hotel. Room in front of the pool is clean, big and confortable. Restaurant is good with amazing view on the beach. Parking slot in garage is not that easy for a big suv. But we did it😃. Pool is very pleasant and relaxing. Persons are very kind and efficient.

The best restaurant in the bay. View is unobstructed, atmosphere is posh. Outdoor sitting only. Dishes are fresh, locally sourced and delicious. Pricing is moderate, considering the complexity and size of the served dishes. Reservation is compulsory, during prime summer months! This beautiful hotel is located next of beach, and it is on a wonderful location. You can have a view of the blue Mediterranean Sea right from your room's window. Owner and staff are very kind and ready to help you wherever and whenever needed. Highly recommended and i will visit stay again whenever I visit L'Escala.

I had a wonderful stay at this small hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, and although the breakfast was small, it offered a nice variety of fresh fruits. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. Overall, it's a great value for the price. My only suggestion would be to have a softer bed for even more comfort. Highly recommended!

We didn’t stay here but had a lovely tapas dinner. We had croquettes, aubergine tempura, meatballs, and garlic prawns. Lovely staff and delicious food. Highly recommend, and good value.

Best location in L'Escala. 20 meters from the beach. We had a huge balcony, views to the sea from both sides. The beds are comfy. It's not a big hotel, so you don;t feel crowded. Self- check-in is very convenient. The room was a bit small for 4 people but it's a great price!

The price was really high in that period for a flat with a nice view but a quite poor equipment (no remote for TV or air conditioning, crappy mattress...). However everything was clean and the bathroom was freshly renovated. Correct breakfast

We took some time out of a hectic trip of Spain and France and stayed here for 4 days I wish i could have been longer. This is one of my favourite places on the planet.

Secluded boutique hotel with beach and paved greenway leading into town just out back. Clean, well appointed rooms. Friendly staff and great restaurants on site. Neat history of archeology lodge. Bathtub/shower is probably not accessible friendly.

A perfect stay for slow travellers. The hotel is set within a beautiful and picturesque context. It is arranged so perfectly that it becomes a part of the landscape. The hotel offers you a choice of several amenities and facilities, unfortunately most of them paid extra. In few of the spacious and chic lounges you can dive into many fluffy pillows and enjoy the sea view. The spa has just everything...

Very comfortable room. The breakfast was great. Staff very friendly at all times. It is a bit of a walk to the beach. But you can get closer with the car. We went to Platja el Petritxol.

As always, we were delighted of having lunch here. The staff are professional, friendly, respectful, attentive and really nice. They pay attention to every detail and they make sure everything is perfect while you are there. The food was amazing. Fresh, well cooked and tasty. We have missed coming here while the Covid pandemic so much. We were delighted of celebrating our little man 4th birthday...

A nice place to go eat out. Beautiful old building in and outside. Excellent food. We enjoyed the duck carpaccio a lot. Excellent wines too and very good service. We will be back.

The food is fantastic and delicious. The service is excellent. We arrived at 15:15 (the kitchen closes at 15:40) and they served us anyway! That to me is the epitome of hospitality. The space is also sort of magical and cozy. I want to come back here all of the time!

Beautiful and clean boutique hotel in central L’Escala. Walking distance from the sea, old quarter, and many bars/restaurants. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting the area

We loved our stay in the duplex suite with private terrace – impeccably clean, comfortable, and with sea view. The owners are exceptionally kind and attentive, making us feel truly welcome through the whole stay ! Perfectly located near a small beach, restaurants, groceries, pharmacy, and so on... The very convenient parking right outside and delicious balanced breakfast completed the perfect experience...

The hotel is clean, modern, and comfortable. It's located in the city center, very close to the beaches and bars. The staff is very nice and always available to answer questions. It was a pleasant stay, and we definitely recommend it for your visit to L’Escala

Love this place! Unpretentious, no frills, but clean ,ultra-friendly/helpful, and sufficient to our needs. Parking a huge plus! Breakfasts good, and perfectly situated for shops beaches, and coastal strolling in both directions. Only downside is noisy late fun-lovers in the streets if you leave a window open!

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The owners offer a warm welcome. The breakfasts are generous. The hotel is close to many good restaurants and not too far from some great beaches. The fittings are perhaps a little dated but it remains very good value for money.

Off-beat and very atmospheric. Superb service from fantastic staff. The food was very good, as was the wine. Very reasonably priced.

I have not stayed at the hotel, but go here often for a coffee or ice cream on their terrace and appreciate the nice staff. I also frequent here for massages with Cristina who is delightful, professional, knowledgable and skilled at her work. I would recommend her care to any guest or person in the area.

wow, where do I start, I have been visiting L'Escala with my family for 13 years now, this hotel holds a special place in my heart, we regularly go here to get lunch and drinks, play Uno and pool, the staff are charming, it's a relaxing vibe. It is such a wonderful hotel with delicious food! honestly amazing!

Very 70's...... think Fawlty Towers without Basil!

We spent 4 nights to visit the Costa Brava and everything was great! Excellent location to move around the towns and everything very well in the house. Very quiet place, clean and in our case very spacious (Anne had no availability and gave us the large apartment for the same price). An exceptional place, full of tranquility and very comfortable. We spent some incredible days staying at Can Brancós, which was our operations center for daily trips to the beaches and coves of the Costa Brava. Anna, hostess of the house, was always very attentive and very aware of if we needed anything. A highly recommended accommodation.

Reissue review, my intention is not to hurt but to be realistic, I have not put 1 star but 3 stars, of course we were staying and specifically it was in the apartment above. The photos are far from reality, at least in the apartment where we stayed. Everything is very neglected, especially the bathroom, with a transparent window without privacy, broken bedroom mosquito net and damaged air conditioning...
