Design Plus Bex Hotel

Overnight stay. Central location. Staff very helpful and attentive. Rooms pleasant & comfortable. Great rooftop bar and relax area with fantastic views.

First class hotel. Only one thing,I have a bad dust and mould spore allergy and the basement restaurant set me off quite badly, probably the concrete and it's location, totally not the fault of the hotel and a bizarre random thing but worth mentioning, it was extremely uncomfortable for me. Everywhere else I was fine and constantly complimenting this attractive hotel.

Great location to walk around las palmas. Lots of bars and restaurants close ,also beach 19 min walk.Plus bus station very closed to travel around the island. Very friendly hotel clean welcoming. Good choice for breakfast. Would 100% stay again !

We happened to walk by and saw the rooftop and menu advertised and went up to the 12th floor to find a lovely rooftop terrace. The starter was excellent as was the main course, red wine and coffee ☕. All of this for 35euro? Yes! We left a good tip as we were quite chuffed. Located near a great shopping area.

Excellent location for this well appointed hotel in the heart of Las Palmas. The main beach, bars and restaurants, bus station and port were all within a few minutes walk of the main entrance . A 30s style bank conversion theme ran throughout the building and added interest to our stay and was a refreshing change from the blandness that is often found in other hotels.

The breakfast buffet (served in the large bank vault! ) provided a wide and plentiful choice; it was regularly restocked and kept fresh. The high rooftop bar gave great views over Las Palmas and was lively at weekends. The swimming pool was small but there was a good space for sunbathing.

All staff (reception, catering and cleaning) were efficient, unobtrusive and friendly when approached. WiFi was speedy and available throughout the hotel.

Our bedroom was clean and contained the same themes to be found elsewhere. The downsides - hence the 4 stars - were that the bedroom air conditioning did not work properly, even when seen to and the only view was of a rather gloomy glass stairwell.

We would stay again at the Design Plus Bex Hotel when we revisit Gran Canaria.

Very nice stay, clean and comfortable room, nice service and helpful crew. A good breakfasts deserves special mention! :) Hotel has nice designing terrace on the roof with panoramic view on the city. It's also very close to the main tourists points

Really enjoyed my stay. Great location. Good choice for breakfast. Lovely roof terrace. Only slight issue was the air conditioning being very temperamental. Had maintenance out to look at it a couple of times and it worked intermittently, even with the window fully shut.

Lovely Hotel with nice rooms, and a rooftop bar with 360-degree views of Las palmas . Breakfast was decent, hot and cold buffet, coffee machine, bread station, and gluten-free bead available on request. Had a lovely stay well located near the port, only a short walk to Las Cantares Beach. Loads of nice restaurants in the areas around the hotel. Would stay here again.

Very good stay, rooms are new and clean, perfect location for starting a cruise - the pier is just 7 min. walk away. Unfortunately the streets in front and behind the hotel are very loud. But in general, I can recommend it.
