Reviews
It is well located, the breakfasts are good, there is something for everyone. The rooms are what they are, I wasn't expecting much and I wasn't disappointed. The hotel is clean, the staff friendly, pets accepted and to top it off there is ample and cheap parking.
As for me, the hotel is ideal for a short stay in the city.
We traveled in a group and made a reservation in advance. When we stepped in the restaurant, the staff stopped us. They said we couldn’t go in through the main entrance. We’re told to use another entrance at the back of the restaurant. So we had to step out and head to the so-called entrance. After finishing our meals and making our way to the front door, we’re stopped again and told to leave the place through the same entrance.
Were we experiencing a new form of racial segregation? Why couldn’t we use the front door? A little heads-up would be nice.
Popped in many times for a coffee and tonight we took some friends for an early afternoon drink, we sat outside for over 30 minutes with no service, my husband went in and all he got was a shrug and my friend went and was completely blanked as they were serving inside. If they didn’t want casual customers then they should shut the bar to outsiders.
Would I recommend this place….no I would not. Manners and politeness does not cost anything and I will certainly not go back again
