Hotel Montmar

The people at reception were very friendly, and helped us with directions. The breakfast was very nice with a lot of options. The location is good too.

I think the hotel can use a little renovation. In particular, our room felt quite uncomfortable to use. Nothing was really wrong with it, but there was almost no furniture, so we didn't have surfaces to put our stuff on. It was kind of an awkward space to use.

The bathroom was the worst bit, in my opinion. Zero surface to put cosmetics or other stuff on top of. There wasn't even somewhere to put your soap or conditioner while showering. The shower gel, shampoo, and soap provided by the hotel smelled absolutely terrible - it really was the cheapest possible thing one can find in the supermarket, which was not pleasant at all. It just gave everything a really cheap feel to it.

Overall, a perfectly decent hotel to spend a night in, but I wouldn't like it if I had to spend longer there.

Excellent value for money! I stayed in the hotel for over a week and I had a very comfortable stay. There is a free public parking nearby and I could always find a spot even during high season. The staff is always smiling and kind. The only tiny improvement they could make is to have a hand soap dispenser in the bathrooms or at least provide hand soap when there is none left.

The hotel is actually very close to the beach and restaurants, no need to take the car. The area is safe and quiet at night.

Just outside of the main part of town easy walking distance opposite a supermarket and school, free dirt parking over the road, a very bad the smell of drains that arrived overnight, hopefully this was a one off.

Nice boutique hotel in the small town of Roses. In a residential area, the hotel is close to supermarket and the local market and there is a big parking right in front of it. Staff are super helpful and do everything to make your stay pleasant. It's relatively far from the water front, ~5 minutes walk. I would recommend if you're looking for the place to stay in Roses.

I wss there for just a night because a sportive event. Peiple in the front desk very friendly , they gave us the oportunity to use the room for a shower after the race , to be honest really good after run a whole mountain marathon. Breakfast really good , plenty of meals open exceptionally for the sport event participants from 7:00 am , to be honest , this is not the first time in the hotel and I highly recomend. Thank you staff for yiur kindnesd!!!

We have stayed here twice in 2017 and will be back again in 2018. Warm, friendly hotel with very good accommodation.

Rooms were clean and modern. Breakfast buffet was great value at only 6€
