Hotels in Roses

Have been to this hotel four times before . The last time was fifteen years ago.and the hotel is lovely staff are tentative and pleasant. Food good and location is good . Only down side its not Adults only . And it was busy at this time of year with family's. July.

Great accommodation , the view is breathtaking the staff is kind and helpful. The housekeeper Mihaela on the 3rd floor has exceeded expectations! Delighted with the room keeping.

A lot of people, very busy but somehow that managed to keep the buffet food quality to a good level and the service of dining room staff excellent for the environment. Very noisy with so many people though. Looks good for families but I was with diving buddies so cannot say too much on that

Decent food at the buffet, friendly staff and nice pool and bar in the evening There was no air conditioning in the room.

It was a great experience. The view was ok, the window to the balcony was noise proof and the service was great. The only downside was breakfast, we requested it vegan but we received yogurt and butter.

Nice and clean, but the hotel is quiet old style. The breakfast is nice but a little oily for us. The swimming pool is huge and clean and nice. Good hotel for a small trip

We stayed at Hotel Univers for two nights. The rooms were outdated and the layout of the room was very strange (we could not walk from our bed to the bedroom without bumping into the desk). Reasonable value. 3 star hotel rating is just about right. Air con in our room was a bit unreliable. Parking is tight but there is a free public car park adjacent to the hotel. Staff are mostly friendly and helpful. We had the included breakfast buffet which was good value but tended to get a bit monotonous after the first week.

The door of my first room didn't work. The second room smelled really bad. The third room was okay. The staff was really nice though. The restaurant offers a buffet with various dishes. None of them taste particularly good though. Prefer to go out to eat if you can pay a bit more.

Great hotel. The staff was ABSOLUTELY wonderful. The breakfast was decent enough. It's right on the beach and the rooms were decent!

Good location & nice beach. In the evening you have a nice fresh breeze coming in. I only gave 4 stars in cause you notice the hotel was superficially renovated. But good customer service and clean rooms! Will come again if staying in Roses.

I am giving this place 5 stars just because of the service we received by the whole staff. The hotel itself is older, but well kept. We stayed here during a soccer tournament. I have no idea how many teams were here, but there were a lot!! Kids everywhere!!! They were extremely busy and never once were they too busy to help us with anything extra we needed. The kitchen and wait staff were excellent...

Super hotel quality price nothing to say except to improve It remains to review the bathrooms Damaged tiles Shower head that does not hold, shower curtain askew. To finish the restoration there is not too much choice. But duck breast all I recommend this hotel.

Very good place, one week of relax and the view is like the heaven , very healthy food , and very good staff!! Every thing was so nice that it make me just want to back to roses hotel on my next holiday! I recommend this place 🙏🙏

Extremely wonderful staff, the hotel is nothing special but the fresh croissants are superb. Location is right in front of the beach and there is a night program!

Great hotel with an old charm right on the beach. Good prices in the bar and service is good with some entartainments every evening. Would have been great to have direct access to the beach via the small Green area / patio infront

Yes, there is a free parking, but... It is full, no free places. Fortunately you can park your car at free public parking just in front of the hotel.

Great hotel ,plenty of choice in food,and also gluten-free ,extremely good staff and friendly. Very clean hotel nice location.

We stayed at this hotel at the end of June 2024. The hotel is simple but very clean. The hotel staff is pleasant. The dinner buffet is good and varied. On the other hand, the breakfast juices are vile. We don't understand why, for this category of hotel, it can't offer better quality. Very good value for money.

The rooms are OK, except for the fan (no air conditioner) the buffet is reasonably ok but not the best I have ever tried.

Hotel is great located, beautiful views. Rooms are a bit small, and not enough place for your things, but overall great views and comfort. Food buffet for breakfast and lunch is not too quite good and you don’t have many options as expected. All was a pleasant stay until you top with the 2 woman in the reception that are rude and unfriendly. But other girls and the staff in the bar is great.

Hotel itself is good. Room was quite comfortable but the pillows weren’t good. AC doesn’t work properly as expected and the breakfast variety wasn’t that good. Overall I expected better breakfast and room for a 4-star hotel. But you will enjoy a great view and location.

Beautiful place, located at the 'end' of the road (you are not allowed to go there as a tourist). Accessible for snorkeling, seen some black sea urchins. The road to it is a surprise every turn!

Smallish sandy beach, a beach front restaurant and beach bar, Ideal for a drink stop while walking the coastal path.

Nice and easy to access- Most Calas are quite difficult to access and usually involve a good hike however this Cala was beautiful and easy to access. Parking is nearby and only requires about a 5 minute walk to the water (no inclines). The water wasn’t as crystal clear and clean as we would have liked, and I’m assuming it’s because of all of the boats parked nearby. Also, there are a lot of rocks...

Excellent hotel with lovely rooms, great service and 4 restaurants which is amazing on the property. It is also away from the Roses crowd. Wonderful views and one of the nicest breakfast services I have seen. I hilghly recommend this place.

Edited review: I was misinformed about the internet situation it seems, the service was great and the penthouse room had a jacuzzi and spacious terrace.

The Vistabella is an incredible location and has a delightful and eager staff. We were only there one night but the room was comfortable and well equipped (though small maintenance issues did come up) and the view from the terrace was spectacular. The private beach was well sunned, but small, and not quite the smooth soft sand you might be used to in other beaches. The beach bar offers excellent mojitos...

Well placed on the beach with generous well equipped room and good breakfast. Outstanding evening meal beautifully cooked served by helpful friendly bilingual staff at a very reasonable price. Fabulous spa and roof terrace.

One of the best Hotels in Costa Brava. Location, service, consierge, activities, exclusive beach club, the great restaurant and amazing breakfast buffet, the new cocktail zone, etc makes everyday an special summer memory!

A beautiful location to spend some quality time, you have access to the swimming pool, a gym, and there is also a spa on the top floor. The access to the beach couldn't be easier, as you have to walk 10 meters to enjoy the sea. I openly recommend it

My husband and I had a wonderful stay with our two dogs. Upon arrival, we had a breeze parking up and getting our stuff in: the staff was super pleasant and gave us a room with full sea views rather than a partial one we had booked. Great room good size with balcony with 2 chairs plus queen size bed. Receptionist were very helpful you could always ask if you need help. Rooms were large but space in room empty. The hotel staff are lovely and the location brilliant. There is free parking adjacent and a lovely promenade to walk our dog from the hotel's door. So good they accept dogs and make your hound feel welcome.

The hotel is conveniently located, very good food (buffet), has a pool and SPA. Massages from Rocio are really good, truly professional. The rooms need a bit of renovation (don’t look like a 4*), but have all that’s needed. The parking is in walking distance from the hotel.

Nice hotel, staff is very friendly. Some highlights: - Parking spot: you need to reserve in advance and pay a daily fee, the parking is 5min walk away from the hotel but secure and covered. Only a few steps from the large beach. And busy all around. We like this kind of a bit old fashioned hotel. Spacy room, with beds of our like. Silent AC. If silence is valued, I recommend room facing the pedestrian street. Not those facing the sea. Breakfast average 3*, in a wonderful, light local. PS. Take away plastic cover on the matress, if you have problem with sweating.

Lovely hotel, staff exceedingly friendly and helpful. Clean and bright, all facilities available - the roof top swimming pool is a special delight. Barney, our spaniel, loves it here as well.

Very dirty rooms, disgusting smell of tobacco in the room inspire the fact that we booked non-smoking room. The breakfast though was good.

We visited 3 times already. The rooms are clean and installations new. We enjoyed the views of the beach from our balcony just in front of the beach and close to the city center. I will return. Nice staff and good breakfast. Internet connection is vital for us, so enjoy it! it's FREE :)

Very friendly check-in. The hotel is very conveniently located, close to the citadel and close to the sea. I had a nice, colourful and comfortable room. Breakfast was chaotic because there was a large group of French pensioners.

Absolutely worth your stay. The rooms are clean, lot of space to keep your stuffs. Gives you automatic upgrade without even asking. The dinner buffet was delicious and had some of the best desserts. This was the best dinner buffet spread so far in spain

Excellent staff, very friendly. We went with a dog and they were really friend with our buddy. Rooms were big and comfortable. The restaurant is really ok for the price. Really good location, three minutes walking to the beach.

One night stay but we enjoyed it. Rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. Great shower and plenty of towels and hot water. Little pool on the roof was fun with loungers etc. There are washing machines and ironing facilities as well. Great location in delightful little bay just outside Roses. Extremely well furnished, higj standard - gorgeous outdoor pool area. Only downside is the traffic noise from the seafront road.
