Villa Eugenia Boutique Hotel

Beautiful boutique hotel just outside the bustling touristy area with loads of restaurants and cafes and a 20 minute stroll to the beach and the atmospheric old-town. Staff couldn’t be more helpful and courteous. Lovely pool area to chill out, great breakfasts and onsite underground secure parking. Quiet, air conditioned bedroom with free daily soft drinks and super wide comfortable bed and strong wifi. I do some day and nighttime photography and I was spoiled for choice with opportunities.

On our drive from Hammerfest to Torrevieja er have stayed in a few hotels. This was a highlight on the trip. Very friendly staff, nice welcome and very nice rooms. Se will be back next time in San Sebastián.

We stayed here for 3 nights in July and highly recommend it. The junior suite was perfect for our family of 4, the room was airy and spacious with great modern amenities. The staff were exceptionally helpful. The pool is small, but we usually had it to ourselves. We added breakfast and parking, and both were well worth it. The neighborhood is quiet and tucked away from the overly touristy parts of San Sebastián. We found great local restaurants nearby, and it was a 20 min walk to La Concha. We were also easily able to use local buses to get to Mounte Iguelda and to ride back from La Concha when the kids were too tired to walk

We had a really great last minute stay here. I know that room rates vary by season so probably can't really judge value for money for future guests, but for us it was great. Our room was big, modern and clean with a lovely private terrace. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and breakfast was delicious. It was located about a 10-15 minute walk into the old town but right on the edge of the Gros neighbourhood so there are plenty of places to go out to that are even closer.

We were bike touring and were allowed to bring our bikes up to the room for complete security even though there was also a possibility of securing the bikes in the garage.

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Very good location to wander into the city but in a quiet area. Reception and cleaning staff very pleasant and helpful.Nice room with very good facilities.Complimentary coffee 24/7.Optional breakfast.Lovely pool and terrace. Very secure parking.
The air conditioning in our room was rather noisy,which we did mention in reception but not bad enough for us to insist on a different room.

Wow! Definitely coming back here. Superb staff! Great terrace accompanying our room! Coffee of all types (macchiato cappuccino mocha) any time of day or night in the lobby/lounge was really nice. They even have decaf and lots of teas (puerh mint rooibos etc). The lounge area is so cute and comfortable I wanted to hang out instead of explore the city! My only complaint is the bed was a bit hard. Wish they had pillow top or memory foam.

The hotel is located on the edge of Gros, about a 10 minute walk to the beach. It's in a quiet residential area and we liked the contrast to the busy Old Town and Gros.
The hotel is clean and modern and the staff were super friendly and helpful.
WE are already planning on returning next year.

What a lovely base for spending time in a beautiful city.
Located in a more residential area on the outskirts of Gros the hotel is clean and well presented with friendly knowledgeable staff.
Our room had a fantastic terrace which overlooked the road in front of the hotel. Some may find this detrimental but I enjoyed watching the world go by and seeing the local people.
It was approximately 10 minutes to walk to the surfing beach, Zurriola, and the same to bars and cafes.
Walking around San Sebastian worked perfectly for us, we always felt safe and finding our way was simple once we knew where the sea or the river was.
The hotel has a little pool on a terrace at the back which was a lovely place to relax and take a dip, not one for doing lengths in though.
Soft drinks were complimentary as were coffees. Breakfast had the usual variety of cereals, fruit, bread, cheese, cold meats, bacon and eggs.
Would I recommend it? Yes if you're happy to walk places. (That said there are regular buses which stop near the hotel).
Would I return? Certainly, hopefully!
