Where to stay in Akaslompolo

My boyfriend and I got a private cabin for four nights and a room in the co-living cabin for two nights at 7Fells Hostel. Plus three nights elsewhere (because we are disorganised). I can not "wow" the place enough. We have been on a road trip and have not found an acommodation late in the evening yet. They were empty and had no guests and so we had the hostel for ourselves. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! The facilities were brand new and spot-clean, the staff was very friendly and accommodating (even though we were a group of 12) and it was full of small details that made our stay better (free coffee, tea and oats for breakfast; sauna, washing machine and dryer, towels, a guitar, small towels in the bathrooms, etc). I totally recommend!

Beautiful place. It happened that my friend and I couldn't find a place to stay during a road trip in lapland and we found this hostel that gave us beds, even though it was fully booked and there we really enjoyed our time. The surroundings were beautiful, the staff really cool. They gave us some tips on where to hike and it was super nice :) Thank you

Very charming boutique Hotel. The breakfast was exceptional as was the kind staff that was very accommodating and helpful in planning activities. Anyone staying in the Ylläs area should certainly consider having dinner at the restaurant. It was exceptionally good and we ended up going twice in a row.

Excellent dinner experience with the family in easter 🐣. The service was flawless and the food was definitely the best in Ylläs region hands down. The views from the restaurant towards lake and saunas were very nice while enjoying our dinner. The easter menu was very good and the vine menu was carefully picked. It is definitely a YOLO moment when you wake up in the cold, the staff are extremely friendly and just willing to please, the Christmas Eve dinner was delicious. The hotel was very accommodating to our kids and the kids probably slept better than us

Very nice built hotel and rooms . You can sleep overnight, around 200eur for one night. We didn't do that. There are around 12 rooms, looks nice. Seems to be extremely quite there at night. You have an ice bar with ice drinks from ice glasses. Every room had it's own theme. Also Amsterdam! There was also a Northern light watch but unfortunately we didn't see that due to some clouds. Can’t book in advance but didn’t seem to be a problem when we arrived. There can be big groups here around lunchtime and it was a little busy, but still amazing ice carvings and worth the trip out from Levi. Tickets were only 19 EUR directly, much much cheaper than some of the tours we looked at (you would just need to sort your own transfer for the 30 minute trip from Levi).

Amazing experience. Drove here from Levi in the middle of winter and it was still a great, beautiful drive. We ate at the Ice restaurant which was an experience in itself, but the ice sculptures in the ice village is amazing. Every room deserved a picture and it was once in a life time experience. Make sure to dress VERY warmly though. It gets cold being in there while.

Fantastic place, we had a quick tour around explaining how they build it and why they can use snow from the sky and how they make it by pumping it up from the local river and spraying it in the air to freeze and then harvest it. Every year it melts down and last November they started building and had most of it done in a month. Slide was the best part .

Clean rooms, good breakfast and very convenient location. Staff is around only certain times a day, but can be reached on phone easily, for example, to get the access information to the lockbox.

It was ok. I took a taxi from the airport to the hotel and it was 30 Euros one way. I arrived late night to the hotel ( around 9 PM) and the key was left outside in a mailbox for me to check in. Even though they say they have reception starting at 8 AM, that is not true. I checked out at almost 11 AM and there was no one to be found at the reception desk. Good hotel not far from the airport and Levi. The hotel is right next to a bus stop to Levi. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I had a good trip and I was satisfied with the services offered by the hotel Kittilä, I recommend it.

Clean and well maintained room. Good sized bathroom with heated flooring and hot shower. Central location between Levi and Ylläs. Easy to get to from airport.

Friendly hotel in the church town of Kittilä. Away from the tourism in Levi. Only five minutes from the airport.

It is a good place to stay some days (quick stop & business trips) . But it is not quite special. Due to the fact that Sirkka and Levi are very close to the Airport Kittilä, I rather suggest to go there if you plan a longer stay, as these villages are great and beautiful.

Henna is such a lovely host and helped us with bus times to the airport and what to do with our day in Kittilä. The beds are very comfy, it's a simple and quiet inn with free coffee, tea and snacks. Close to the bus stop for Levi and the airport and ski paths are neaby

Small but very nice family guesthouse. Clean and comfortable room. Coffee, tea and snacks were available in the room.

The owner of this hotel really enjoy having guests. I know because she is giving top class service and is so kind. My dog had to go to the doctor after our visit and later she wrote to me to know how my dog was. So kind! Small guesthouse, big experience!

I recommend large and bright apartments in the immediate vicinity of the Levi Black line. In the apartment everything you need for work and rest. The sauna could be a bit bigger, following Finland's example.

A hotel with a great location for even the most demanding taste! The apartment is clean and beautifully decorated. Close enough, but far enough from the heart. Shop as well as sled / bike rental across the road.

We really enjoyed our stay at the K5. If you are going to purchase excursions through Levi information centre direct then this hotel as ideal as it’s next to it. Small but perfectly formed. We loved our stay at the K5 Hotel. The rooms were lovely and spacious, staff were friendly and welcoming, plus the added bonus of being able to watch the reindeer while eating in the restaurant or relaxing with a drink at the bar.

Clean rooms warm with small drying area. Friendly informative reception. Buffet meals with vast array of choice. I was there a week and didnt get bored with menu. Free sledges for the kids.
