Where to stay in Foglo

A warm-hearted place, which is easy to recommend 😊 Beautiful rooms, good breakfast and cozy garden. A soda and chocolate factory is located right next to the b&b. Warmly recommend their sodas! We tried elderflower and strawberry, which were both excellent. Remember to book in advance ( this place seemed to be always full and we were lucky to have their last available room during that summer week...

A lovely place to stay for a night, have breakfast or just go for coffee and shopping in the drinks store and flea market. Also great for families with children.

Nice bed and breakfeast. Very beautiful room for four at downstairs with perfect country side scenery. Beds and lines extremely comfortable. Note that toilets / shower not in the room, however there are more than one of these in the hall. Breakfeast was ok, could do better at corona times: could just serve bread, egg, jugurt to the table for all - this would speed up quite a bit.

A very charmfull place where me and my friends stoped for a break time while crossing Aland Islands on the bicycle tour in archipelagos this summer. Cosy and quaint guesthouse in a beautiful location. Tony was a great host and went out of his way open the guesthouse just for us at the end of the season. He gave us a tour of his incredible lemonade brewery in his barn, and also let let us borrow 2 bikes for free. Fantastic place to stay while exploring the islands

Lots of space to accommodate even a large group. Lots of uniform clean dishes, washing machine and cupboards in the sauna. The only minus the proximity of the public road. Great place!

Nice and spacious for a big group, many bedrooms and a nice yard with ocean view. We enjoyed the traditional wooden heated sauna and barbecued a nice dinner on the deck overlooking the ocean. Well equipped with boat, boathouse etc. Welcoming host.

Absolutely wonderful place! Very cozy and beautiful old milieu. And really friendly staff. We stayed in lovely old barns. And I don't remember when I've slept so soundly and well :) The showers and toilets were very clean. Likewise, the breakfast was really good. Definitely the best place on our Åland bike tour. Very nice accommodation where we have been several times over the years, we are now planning next year's (2023) trip and then this will be our first stop - we will then drive for the 15th year. The food is good and the place is cosy, a softer bed would be desirable - at least for me.

Absolutely fabulous place for a relaxing holiday! Here you can rent one of the village houses or stay for a few hours - chat with animals and drink coffee in a small cozy cafe. This is a great place to show children the real village life, which is so hard to find on the mainland. We will definitely come back here again and recommend you if you pass by!

This is an absolute place to stop and spend a few hours when you are on Degerö Island. Really friendly staff, nice cozy cabins, small cafe, lots of farm animals and horse riding.

We loved staying here at Kökar! Nice staff who did everything to ensure we had the best experience. The cabin was great, the kitchen had everything you needed and the view from the patio.

Clean basic cabins, good shower facilities. Location with a great vantage point. The service is excellent.

We came by boat to a nice cove with a beautiful landscape. New pier unfinished. Places are being renewed It feels like we are a little tired. Quite OK .

Basic cabin with fridge, kettle and small coffee maker. A new maintenance building, where there are toilets and showers and a kitchen, where there is a stove, an oven and a place to wash dishes (cold water only).

Great breakfast buffet. Hotel built originally in 1970's, renovated, different rooms somewhat different style, all very clean. Air conditioning unit in room. Hotel staff approached in English, language skills variable (some did not speak Swedish, most did not speak Finnish). Great location next to the water, shops and restaurants etc just around the corner. Very friendly and professional staff. New breakfast room with nice view over the water, excellent breakfast with lots of choice.

Breakfast was very good, with a special section with gluten free products. Bikes were available to be borrowed and in good state.

Good standard for the rooms. Well made food at the Oliven restaurant. Friendly relaxed staff. Minus on the sauna and pool only being available between 1700-1900, really disappointing.

Great hotel! Situated right across from the waterfront. Very comfortable, modern rooms with fantastic beds. Breakfast was very good too. Tea/Coffee facilities in room to a nice touch. Would be happy to stay here again.

Very cozy and clean hotel, with excellent location and kind staff. We felt very relaxed and satisfied with our stay in this hotel.

It is an ok hotel. Nice staff at the front desk, helpful and nice. But the room I stayed in was dated, the bed was way to soft and the cover on the mattress was falling out during the night. The room was pretty clean but I couldn't miss the finger prints on the ceramic on the bathroom. The worst point was that the pool and the sauna can be use only until 10AM so I could not use them.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. The rooms felt good and met expectations. Felt that the new owners are betting on the hotel premises felt quite ok in standard, but even then, they informed that they will freshen up some parts here in the future. The indoor pool could be used free of charge in the morning was a nice plus Breakfast above average in this price segment

We had our rooms at Savoy but reception and breakfast was here. Really super friendly staff. Locked luggage room we could use. Many gluten free and vegetarian options at breakfast but not much vegan ones.

Ok hotel for the price but Arkipelag at the same pricepoint offers a bit more. Nothing really to complain

Solid hotel when considering the location. Nothing specially good nor bad. Would recommend to book a room from at least third floor because the dragging of chairs during breakfast was easily heard to our second floor room. Hard to sleep during breakfast hours.

Small rooms. - No fridge in the room. - No cleaning service between nights, unless you request for one. Even then, they just make the bed. No change...

Very expensive compared to what you get. The rooms were small, even though we upgraded to a superior room. The room lacked a fridge. The bathroom was poorly planned, so after shower the floor was too wet to comfortably do your hair etc. The breakfast was good, but not as good as advertised. Poor selection of bread, fruits and vegetables. Expected more for the price.

Great hotel. New ,stilish. Room was modern, clean, beds comfortable. Breakfast included several different options and local products. Was really tasty. From dowstairs restaurant tried only panacotta desert and it was perfect. Highly reccomend!

Clean and silent. The room didn't have fridge, but we kept our drinks between the window. Our view was to a building site but no bothering noice from there. Breakfast was good. There was plenty on gluten free options and vegetarian. Not much vegan though.

We spent a wonderful week end in the hotel ! The breakfast was just perfect with a lot of choices and the personal was friendly ! If we come back to Åland, no doubt we will return to Savoy ! Great modern, clean rooms.. Ample brekkie.. My one criticism would be the beds were very soft... But I think that is a trait for hotels in Europe.

A modern way to check in and out without staff. Basic set, accommodation for sleeping. The evening was a bit noisy, but after the silence it was quiet!

I loved it! But don't expect it to be like a hotel. It has seen it's better days but personally I loved to live like this! It was cheap, comfy beds, breakfast included, near the city and had many toilets! The workers were nice and happy. Loved it, felt cozy :)

Basic hostel but has what you need. Shared bathrooms and showers on each floor. Communal kitchenette with kettle and microwave and mini hob. Breakfast is porridge, toast, hard boiled eggs and cucumber or pepper or jam. Can sit outside for breakfast.

Basically a good hotel with good breakfast and good cleaning, but the windows in our room could not be opened, so we suffered from excessive heat and the wifi coverage was very poor - even in the lobby.

It was not the hotel shown on the internet. The rooms were worse. They were relatively poorly managed. Breakfast had a very poor range. But otherwise, I think it was a nice hotel. The Dom who worked there was nice. But something more than that, it was unfortunately not. The missing sense of detail, which plays a major role. I like this hotel. I've visited here several times and I liked it everytime. Their service is friendly and relaxing. Price segment of this hotel is around average which is a bit pricey for me personally. If you're planning to stay here it's superior if you fancy sports because they have a sport bar which is a great place to consume pizza and beer while watching sport related entertainment.

Great hotel and lovely staff! The room was quite bare bones but for a place to sleep it was more than enough. During booking we let the hotel know about our vegan diet and they handled that really nicely, they mentioned it at check-in and we had some extra options at breakfast. Highly recommend, I would gladly stay here again 😊

Good budget hotel close to ferry terminal and town centre. Rooms with free breakfast, wifi & free street parking. Decent sized rooms with ok bathroom. They have a note saying hotel Tap Water is drinkable. Although no kettle provided, guests can get hot water from the cafe downstairs for free. Room has a large balcony with table & chairs. Overall no complaints for the price. Worth for budget travellers...

Average hotel with average prices. Slightly weird to see price comparison posters everywhere in the hotel, giving the impression: "if you think this is shitty, remember we are cheapest in town"

We had an amazing experience :) we recommend to anyone looking for a friendly and nice place, in a great position. A lovely sauna with a garden and see view, a curated garden, lots of places in which you can relax or eat something. There was a barbecue spot available, but we didn’t use it. What an amazing place to stay in Åland 💜 The houses have everything you need for s comfy stay and more. The place is quiet even in high season. They offered us bikes, BBQ, sauna... Anything we could imagine for a great experience and everything at very cheap prices. The swimming pool is amazing but the private beach has clear waters and smooth white sand. It's simply awesome! Very good place which is close to the city, the only trouble we had at times was a bad wifi! Overall it is a very nice place with pool, sauna, beach and lots of greenery around. Also the hosts were friendly. I would definitely visit this place once again.
