Only one night but a great time in the spa, nice pools indoor and out, and two different types of saunas. Also a hot steam room - hard to breathe for a few seconds but then great! Nice breakfast but there was limited slices fruit and the bacon was strange - very tasty but unusually big pieces and no fat. The grounds look very nice with the lake and golf course in the background. There is a castle only...

A nice place, nice location, a wide choice of arrangements in and around. The only minus, at this time and so on, is that the service was a bit off. Probably due to season personell that was not comfortable in their roles (yet?).

Good for families; if you are hiking nearby; visiting the golf course; or riding the horses on the stall nearby. There was no complimentary coffee or tea in the room, which was disappointing. You can get snacks 24/7 from the reception and use a microwave. Coffee/tea is 2,5€ Spa slippers were also not included! They cost 5€ from the reception shop The view from the room was nice. Many years ago visited this place during a team building session, at which time the place left a deep impression on me. In the recent couple of years, I got fascinated with the view-tower in Aulanko. To catch the aurora borealis, we put up in this hotel again this February, as it is so convenient to visit the watch tower from the hotel, Lucky enough we were able to cath the northern lights this time...

This a great spot with amazing free finnish breakfast. The pool and grounds were the best we saw in Finland

Hotel is in a beautiful Finnish nature. Outside of hotel there are minigolf and Hugo Park (climbing area for childrend's and adults), you can play Frisbeegolf etc. There is also quit small spa. Hotel is about 6 km from Hämeenlinna's center and Häme Castle. You can go center easy by bus, taxi or if is good weather you can walk.

The staff were exceptional. Friendly and always willing to help. The rooms were accommodating and comfortable. Didn't know it was - 9 outside. The food was delicious, lots of choices and reasonably priced. Just wish I had more time to explore the town.

Good hotel with friendly staff. A little bit old but in general a good experience. Don't expect top quality but for the price it's good enough.

stayed here many times and always have a great stay. Walking distance to all the restaurants and bars in town and the underground parking garage is key in the winter.

Rooms are clean and nice. Pricey hotel regarding it has some wear and tear everywhere, except rooms. But it’s Finland and most of the hotels are built already years back and they lack of renovations. Hotels restaurant is really good. Sokos as usual.

This hotel is right near the Hämeenlinna train station. Best place to go to and have a look around town and then come back for dinner and then back to your room.

It is located just beside the lake, and walking distance from the train station! We stayed here in the winter and the lake was frozen, still views from the room was amazing! Good friendly atmosphere, staffs are really good and friendly! We will come back again in summer!

Hotel location is really good near city center. Nice and helpful stuff. Breakfast was excellent. Recommend 👍🏻

Good hotel and very clean. There was aircon but you couldnt manually change that. Breakfast was especially good.

Nice hotel by the lake. Has it's own guest dock for boating visitors. Lack of air conditionig is a minus.

So far, so good, let's see breakfast tomorrow morning and few days more here. Location middle of the city. You can just walk there, if you want to go shopping

Nice and neat, perfect location. At least on weekends do note that there is a clear noise from the nightclub downstairs.

The breakfast was ok. Quiet standard, but good bread. The table was a bit sticky and all in all the place unfortunetely didn't looked so clean.

Small rooms. Electricity sockets are neither beside bed nor by desk. Small bathroom. Bathroom curtain disturbs. Breakfast OK. Reception friendly and helpful

A somewhat clean hotel in a good location. The rooms could use fixes here and there. In short nothing was done extraordinarily well but the breakfast was more satisfactory than I would have expected from the experience in my room. The staff seemed rather friendly and eager to help. Perfect for a relaxing sighseeing, for taking pictures and/or reading. A place very connected to the soul of Finland.

Large forest park with pavilions and small lakes, and bear statue by Aulanko Lake - good place for hiking and cycling and picnics.

If you're driving through Hämeenlinna, take a detour and climb up to the tower at Aulanko. Spectacular views over a rolling landscape of forests and small lakes.

I can warmly recommend. A really great and unique place to stay. All individual points have been carefully thought out, which will be positively remembered.

Lovely guesthouse in the center of Hämeenlinna - thoughtful decoration that shows the history of the house, comfy beds and a delicious breakfast.

Amazing place, atmosphere from early 20th century. Be sure to book bigger room with balcony, and you live like a star. Very friendly staff and location only few steps away from what town has to offer.

We felt us very welcomed by our hosts. They gave us very good recommendations for great restaurants and activities around Hämeenlinna and Aulanko recreational area. Great value for the money. The free-of-charge retro bicycles were so much fun!

Good facilities and can accommodate a lot of relatives able to go skiing on the ice of the lake in winter
