Even though the rooms, for me, are 9 out of 10 because of the vintage look, everything about this hotel was a 10+. The spa and saunas were very nice, the food... absolutely delicious! Also it has a pool table for enthusiasts!

Great location for relaxing. The old hotel buildings are full of character and make a good change from modern themed hotels. The single rooms on the 4th floor are a little small.

Very nice hotel. Service was good, room was solid, and the spa was ok. There are some castle ruins right next to the hotel and there is a path you can take which leads you to a beautiful view.

Only one night but a great time in the spa, nice pools indoor and out, and two different types of saunas. Also a hot steam room - hard to breathe for a few seconds but then great! Nice breakfast but there was limited slices fruit and the bacon was strange - very tasty but unusually big pieces and no fat. Rooms are clean and nice. Pricey hotel regarding it has some wear and tear everywhere, except rooms. But it’s Finland and most of the hotels are built already years back and they lack of renovations. Hotels restaurant is really good. Sokos as usual.

This hotel is right near the Hämeenlinna train station. Best place to go to and have a look around town and then come back for dinner and then back to your room.

It is located just beside the lake, and walking distance from the train station! We stayed here in the winter and the lake was frozen, still views from the room was amazing! Good friendly atmosphere, staffs are really good and friendly! We will come back again in summer!

Hotel location is really good near city center. Nice and helpful stuff. Breakfast was excellent. Recommend 👍🏻

Good hotel and very clean. There was aircon but you couldnt manually change that. Breakfast was especially good.

Nice hotel by the lake. Has it's own guest dock for boating visitors. Lack of air conditionig is a minus.

The staff were exceptional. Friendly and always willing to help. The rooms were accommodating and comfortable. Didn't know it was - 9 outside. The food was delicious, lots of choices and reasonably priced. Just wish I had more time to explore the town.

stayed here many times and always have a great stay. Walking distance to all the restaurants and bars in town and the underground parking garage is key in the winter.

Nice and neat, perfect location. At least on weekends do note that there is a clear noise from the nightclub downstairs.

The breakfast was ok. Quiet standard, but good bread. The table was a bit sticky and all in all the place unfortunetely didn't looked so clean.

Perfect for a relaxing sighseeing, for taking pictures and/or reading. A place very connected to the soul of Finland.

Large forest park with pavilions and small lakes, and bear statue by Aulanko Lake - good place for hiking and cycling and picnics.

If you're driving through Hämeenlinna, take a detour and climb up to the tower at Aulanko. Spectacular views over a rolling landscape of forests and small lakes.

I can warmly recommend. A really great and unique place to stay. All individual points have been carefully thought out, which will be positively remembered.

Lovely guesthouse in the center of Hämeenlinna - thoughtful decoration that shows the history of the house, comfy beds and a delicious breakfast.

Amazing place, atmosphere from early 20th century. Be sure to book bigger room with balcony, and you live like a star. Very friendly staff and location only few steps away from what town has to offer.

We felt us very welcomed by our hosts. They gave us very good recommendations for great restaurants and activities around Hämeenlinna and Aulanko recreational area. Great value for the money. The free-of-charge retro bicycles were so much fun!

Hotel is pretty basic and fairly expensive. Hotel staff are friendly and speak English. Breakfast is a buffet-style and exceeds expectations. Hotel contains a gym (weights, cable machine, treadmill and bike). Overall pretty average

Everything worked well, sauna was actually pretty good! Price a bit high for a small city like Riihimäki, though.

Ok, not very exciting. Had a bar and restaurant of acceptable quality bit nothing fancy. Room was somewhat recently renovated but pretty standard. Bathroom was not recently renovated and a bit worn, but very clean. Hotel has a "gym" but it is a basic breda kind of thing, a tiny windowless room with a threadmill and cycle plus a small selection of free weights. It's just besides the lobby and bar so...

Nice hotel with 2 saunas. The breakfast is amazing, nice room with a lot of choice. The only negative aspect is we hear a lot the shutting doors.

Friendly and efficient front office. But the hotel itself is old and the rooms small and feel a bit soffacating. Toilets were a bit unclean too.
