Wilderness Hotel Nangu & Igloos

This was such an amazing experience and the staff were beyond spectacular. My wife and I spent a long weekend here and experienced as much as we could during our short visit. The food alone was divine and we would gladly come here again.
Sadly we weren't lucky enough to see the lights during our stay but we still met some great people and made some unforgettable memories.

Fantastic experience with high quality staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Hotel location is magical, middle of nowhere near the frozen lake and forest. 5 star to all organization with activities and spa. Rooms are very cosy and you really feel you’re in Lapland. Food was excellent. Would love to come again.

What a little paradise this place is! I am so glad I found this gem. The perfect location by lake Inari - pristine nature, peace and totally quiet.

No Wifi in the rooms which is nice, because people gather in the lounge area of the restaurant by the fire. This gives you the chance for nice conversations and making new friends.

The food is incredible - truly exceptional. The restaurant is super nicely decorated with an incredibly warm atmosphere. Also the chinaware is so cute and totally matches the place. You get food and drinks all day long - it's really convenient.

Make sure you book one of the activities that offers lunch by a campsite in nature such as the snowmobile activity or the snowshoe hike - for me this was such a unique experience I'll never forget. The food was the best ever.

All staff members are super friendly and support you with everything you need. Thanks to everyone of you who made my stay such a memorable and remarkable experience.

The activities and excursions are really divers and fun and adventurous. The only one that didn't impress me was the reindeer farm. I expected it to be a real herd but it was only three reindeers that were on a leash and then you could do a 2 minute reindeer sleigh ride. The best adventure for me was the snowmobile excursion, the snowshoe hike and the aurora activities.

Everything is incredibly well organized. You get all the equipment and warm clothing you need. All the tour guides - especially Toni and Ciara - are super kind.

I gave only 4stars for the room rating because rooms could be decorated in a more cosy and warm way. They are quite simple and cold in their appearance. Also in the bathroom some hooks are missing, a tray in the shower for placing soap & shampoo or having a larger glass divider in the shower. Minor things, but they make the difference.

I will definitely return to this amazing place and can wholeheartedly recommend it. ❤️

We have just had the most amazing trip , location just stunning , all organised activities so well organised , staff were just lovely as were all the other guests we met , would without doubt return and would highly recommend . Thank you team Nangu you were fabulous .

Lake Inari Aurora Hut is absolutely gorgeous! You are staying on a lake in a glass hut surrounded by a beautiful nature. A truly unique experience.

I cannot recommend the hotel enough - our hut was great, staff is super attentive, all the activities organised by the hotel are superb. Highly recommend!

Let me start to say that this trip was one of my most amazing experiences . I've been till now in 60 countries and this trip is not to forget at all.

The hotel was magical and very luxurious. I liked all the details and the interior. You really get what you paid for.

The panorama log cabin was brand new.
This is one of my trips that i can't complain on anything at all. I highly recommend everyone to stay in that hotel.

Love this place!!! Completely exceeded my expectations. The rooms are very cozy, the master cabin is very cute and we did the snowshoeing (4 hours) with Ida and loved it!! Totally recommend this place!

Completely different from our usual holidays for us. Snow and cold. Good activity. Good food. I especially liked the set lunches. The choice saved me. Attentive staff. No complaints.

If you're looking for a nice, quiet getaway with a partner then this the place to go, beautiful setting and we got to see the northern lights as well so even better. Added a few activities on as well which was husky sledging, aurora snowmobiling (wrap up warm for this one 🥶) and a visit to the reindeer farm. Brilliant few days and certainly a place I'd go back to again.

Wilderness Hotel Nangu was a dream come true. We had the most fantastic and special time. The hotel itself is stunning, the rooms are perfect, the food was super delicious and the service was 10 out of 10. I wish I could rate this hotel 100 out of 10! Thank you for making our visit so special.
