Spent Saturday night here. The live band was Peer Gynth, a great performance on the outdoor stage. The evening was moderately warm for mid-August. A nice drink from the bar and a good feeling left the evening.
This is already the first time (summer) I have been here in Reisjärvi for the night. Nice place right on the lake. That's going to be a disadvantage, it's not a pier or a morning ball. By the way, everything is quite a bit (or how to write it?)

This was an unexpectedly cool cabin in the middle of nowhere (we used it as a halfway point from our drive from Rovaniemi to Helsinki). It is absolutely huge, has an in-built wood sauna, and just everything about it was a little bit different (in a good way). There weren't too many options within a 2hr drive of here, and it looks like an older cabin so we weren't expecting it to be as good...

Such a cozy and lovely place. You should definitely visit the sauna. The only downside was the numerous mosquitoes, but you can't help it 😉
Cozy place to accomadate in the middle of the Finland near Salamajärvi national park. Sauna needen just one stitch and it was ready less than half an hour❤️
Traditional Finnish manor and sauna. The owner was friendly and warmed up the sauna for me. Traveling alone with MC and this was a cost effective solution for one night.

Really great place and lots of opportunities to do everything. Boating and walking in stunning scenery. Good barbecue facilities. Great terrace and the opportunity to enjoy great scenery.

A unique and beautiful little hotel. Lots of little details that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Super helpful and accommodating host who served us a delicious breakfast, including homemade jams and pecan pie. A memorable stay that exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back!
Lovely small, personal and cozy hotel with personal service. If I ever come to Nivala again, this is the place to stay. A summer waffle café next to the hotel would be wonderful to experience! A strong recommendation if you want an experience instead of a traditional hotel.
Pleasant surprise. Warm and good service. Big rooms. Shower is shared between rooms, but then there is sauna. Elegant interior. Good breakfast.
Great place to stay! Something different compared to ordinary hotels. I would definetely stay here again.

This hotel is a bit old but the staff is really friendly. They speak food English too. Breakfast was simple but tasty and satisfying. There is a public sauna room but we actually had a sauna in our own room. I would stay there again.
The hotel is a little old and rundown, but the proprietor is very easygoing and helpful. The sauna and room heating work well, and the place is relatively cheap.

Nice modern cabin, although a bit small. Cleaning, sheets, and breakfast included. Nice lake a very short distance from the cabin. Sauna nearby. Convenience store and restaurant on premises. Good stop along the road.
Nice small hotel on top of the gas station, rooms were nice and clean, staff was really friendly and helpful during our stay. This was perfect hotel for us along our road trip. I highly recommend.
Clean, modern-looking. Fast and slow food, good accommodation upstairs. Older building at the front not so good though.
