The reception staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.

Hotel is pretty basic and fairly expensive. Hotel staff are friendly and speak English. Breakfast is a buffet-style and exceeds expectations. Hotel contains a gym (weights, cable machine, treadmill and bike). Overall pretty average

Everything worked well, sauna was actually pretty good! Price a bit high for a small city like Riihimäki, though.

Ok, not very exciting. Had a bar and restaurant of acceptable quality bit nothing fancy. Room was somewhat recently renovated but pretty standard. Bathroom was not recently renovated and a bit worn, but very clean. Hotel has a "gym" but it is a basic breda kind of thing, a tiny windowless room with a threadmill and cycle plus a small selection of free weights. It's just besides the lobby and bar so...

Nice hotel with 2 saunas. The breakfast is amazing, nice room with a lot of choice. The only negative aspect is we hear a lot the shutting doors.

It's OK, the environment is relatively quiet. Breakfast was hot oatmeal which was amazing. The service staff is very nice. Most of the people staying here are probably here for KONE.

Clean or not clean? Staff was really nice and helpful, hotel could do with some tlc. Overall not thr most luxurious hotel but had a little mini fridge which was nice, close to the train station and breakfast was alright.

Hotel is located next to the train station and has plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Extremely annoying buzzing sound from the ventilation. Had to use earplugs to get some sleep. Else it was a decent hotel.

The food was good, maybe seasoned a bit more manly, which I personally like, but other diners praised that they make good food 😊 a good place to come for lunch. There are enough parking spaces in the yard

Lovely guesthouse in the center of Hämeenlinna - thoughtful decoration that shows the history of the house, comfy beds and a delicious breakfast.

Amazing place, atmosphere from early 20th century. Be sure to book bigger room with balcony, and you live like a star. Very friendly staff and location only few steps away from what town has to offer.

We felt us very welcomed by our hosts. They gave us very good recommendations for great restaurants and activities around Hämeenlinna and Aulanko recreational area. Great value for the money. The free-of-charge retro bicycles were so much fun!

Nice and neat, perfect location. At least on weekends do note that there is a clear noise from the nightclub downstairs.

The breakfast was ok. Quiet standard, but good bread. The table was a bit sticky and all in all the place unfortunetely didn't looked so clean.

The breakfast was good, the best in several days. You can play table tennis and take a sauna. This small town is peaceful and beautiful, and the elders are particularly friendly. The viewing platform on the mountain is great with panoramic views

All the staff was friendly and accommodating towards anything and everything needed to be answer, everything was walking distance, even the train station as well, the room did tend to get hot during the day but they provide a fan for that as well. All in all the experience was great and I will come back for sure

A bit dated hotel but excellent location and breakfast

Nice central location We were in Finland for a race in Lahti. Close enough for us to stay and the town was really cool, centered with a castle and a good military museum.

Staff was nice and always smile and helpful. Breakfast was ok but not like a Hotel. Nothing in room. No tea bag or coffee in room, no iron, no cup no telephone. You need to go to the reception in person to ask for something. No air conditioner only had a small fan in the room so sleep not well due to feel hot. I never stayed here before the extensive renovations which were finalized by the end of July 2025. Rooms are clean and nice. Pricey hotel regarding it has some wear and tear everywhere, except rooms. But it’s Finland and most of the hotels are built already years back and they lack of renovations. Hotels restaurant is really good. Sokos as usual.

Nice and clean, a bit shabby schick

It is quite an experience. You drop into 80s as the rooms were renovated sometimes 1985 or so. The furniture is beated up, so the walls. But you can see the lost glory. Last time I have seen something like this on my parents photos where I was like 3. It is a time machine. Highly recommended.

Very nice location and great service. Spa was the best ever. However the room we had was not the best as it was not well ventilated and no option to adjust the ventilation. Also the bed was not the most comfortable for quality sleep. Aside these, it was a nice experience here.

I went there with my family and stay for one night there. It's a perfect and suitable place for the family with the kids. There is a swimming pool where people can enjoy specially kids are enjoying a lot. There is a complementary breakfast and the food quality and test are really good. In a word I enjoy a lot and it was a nice experience for me 😄.

Even though the rooms, for me, are 9 out of 10 because of the vintage look, everything about this hotel was a 10+. The spa and saunas were very nice, the food... absolutely delicious! Also it has a pool table for enthusiasts!

We were four people and we had an apartment with two bedrooms and a living room and balcony, very comfortable and cosy. We shared a bathroom which was OK. Being from Canada my friends did not know where to hang their towels in the shower so as not to get them wet while showering. There was no protection from the splashes. What really was nice of the staff that they had bought 4 NEW BIKES just to accommodate...

Reception service was great, room was spacious and the beds bigger than standard. It was also really nice to be able to book the sauna just for us - we managed to get the last timeslot. Breakfast was lovely and actually the fact that it was in a separate building across the courtyard was nice because then you had a nice walk across there in the fresh morning air.

Beautiful hotel just enough at the side of all noisy and busy town centers that it's nice and quiet. Room was clean well designed and spacious. Toilet/shower was clean and spacious as well. Only downside was the noise from the a/c but it wasn't noisy enough to stop from getting a good night of sleep. Breakfast was fantastic. Plenty of warm and cold items to choose from and everything was fresh.

A really lovely experience, we stayed at a traditional Finnish cottage close to the lake. Comfortable bed, beautiful tranquil scenery. Friendly staff and very helpful. Mini kitchen could be better equipped and more variety for people with allergies provided at breakfast (bread was dry), but otherwise we were happy with our stay.

We stayed at Krapi Hotel during our bike tour in Finland. Krapi Hotel is situated near the Lake Tuusula and the hotel is very beautiful. We had a lovely room and the dinner at the restaurant was absolutely great.

A hotel built into an old farm building. The room was in very good almost new condition. Good bed with large fairly firm pillow. Very good shower and very good condition bathroom. Room was clean. When I went to buy food and some drinks alone from the grill, the male bartender first tried to charge me 1250e. A nice place to stay, beautiful nature. The downside is the internet - wi-fi is completely unreliable. So just go relax there.

Decent hotel option for conferences and meetings. Nice location next to the lake ... I was there in November but should be really good in the summer. Rooms and bed are relatively small given the out of town location. Walls between rooms are thin.
