A boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Very nice atmosphere. Just next to the beach with really nice terrace.

Had a great stay at this property. The hotel has a rich history. The staff is helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is really good. There is hotel parking as well as free street parking in front. Rooms are cozy in general, but I found the bathroom a bit compact. It is very close to all major attractions.

Good offer for it’s price. Old historical buildings brings romantic atmosphere. Also it’s located on the first line next to lake beach, and 3 minutes walk to the castle. The only disadvantages were spider webs and cockroaches in the room. Also quite a poor choice in the hotel’s restaurant. Anyway, a good variant for 3 stars.

One of those places. Historical building and the theme is kept alive but without much TLC for it.
The rooms are ok ... expect a 3 star standard.
Obviously, we came in the low season and the hotel adjusts to the whole city, which goes straight from the 3 months of summertime into full hibernation.
Except for sandwiches - toasted or not - don't expect much unless you have ordered in advance. And don't hope to rely on the ghost town to feed you after 20h00.
Probably best enjoyed during summer when life abounds.
Price wise ... too expensive for what it is. I will probably not return.

Dont bother. Had a table recevation for dinner at teracce. Arrived, nobody from stuff said hello. Went to a table, waited 20min. Nothing, huspand got up and collected from bar us a menu. Again nobody came to ask what would we like to have. Spend 40+ min in empty table for nothing. Ok if you want to get few drinks which you naturally have collect yourself from the bar. Was planning having a steak dinner, left hungry and super disappointed. These people have no clue how to run a restaurant. Customer service was non existence.

Hospitz Hotel is one of the best we visited. Caring hospitality, very comfortable room and the location is fantastic. The hotel has over 100 year history, it feels like a museum. The breakfast with waffles was very tasty! Thanks Hospitz for hosting us!

Lovely little hotel. Highly recommended when staying in Savonlinna. Make sure to book well in advance, especially if arriving in July.

Hotel is very charming and our room was just perfect with a breathtaking view 😍 amazing furniture and it was super clean.

Very nice privately owned hotel with a lake view. Good service! Only little hick up was lack of cooling in rooms.
