Finlandia Hotel Aquarius

I just finished a week-long business trip at Hotelli Aquarius, ending May 16, 2025, and it was a pleasant stay. The room on the fourth floor was clean, spacious, and had a beautiful sea view, which was a highlight, especially with the spring sunlight this time of year. There was no air conditioning, but the room had an opening window and a tower fan, which kept it comfortable. The bathroom was compact but clean, with all the necessary amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The breakfast was decent, with a good variety but nothing standout, served in a medieval-themed restaurant with a unique ambiance. The hotel has a bowling alley and a lounge area with a pool table, which I didn’t use, but they looked like great options for relaxation. The reception, with its retro checkered floor and knight statue, has a quirky charm. Be aware that the reception closes early on Sundays, but they send a PIN code via email for entry, and room keys are in an envelope in a key box—a smooth process for late arrivals.

The location is excellent—right by the sea with a short walk to the town center, perfect for enjoying Uusikaupunki in May. The large, free parking lot was a big plus for convenience. The hotel is a bit dated but well-maintained and clean. I’d recommend it for business travelers or anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a scenic spot.

Beautiful directly at the sea

Very interesting hotel. Been there two nights. Near by the bay. Strange was for me that everything was closed before 5pm. Hotel and bar was cloesed about 10 pm. Good breackfasts. Clean on rooms

The seminar hall was big.
But toilet walls and design of the house in general was old.
Restaurant colors were old. But its ok. Maybe its inexpensive in thos case.

Ok Room... A bit expensive, good breakfast.

Nice hotell with good food

Uusikaupunki is really a nice location and to enjoy there I recommend this hotel.
