It’s very central. Easy walking distance to the old town. Clean. Friendly staff.

Nicely laid out rooms, with enough electric sockets, within walking distance of the centre of Anjou. Staff were very helpful.

The hotel is ok-ish but it is on three floors without a lift.

Excellent hotel. Luxurious rooms with reat view. The personnel is very polite and hospitable. The hotel us right next to the train station and within walking distance from the city center and the castle.

A wonderful hotel with friendly and welcoming staff, comfortable rooms with air-conditioning and a breakfast which is fit for a king! Centrally located and being a short walk from a fantastic restaurant and the wonderful cathedral and old part of the town, this hotel is definitely to be recommended!

Overall we had a good experience although having a room with a communicating door. The stuff was friendly and the location is great if you are taking the train.

Great and central location for a visit in Angers. Parking was possible practically only 200 m away from the hotel.

We were very happy to find this hotel located in the heart of the city with easy walking distance to the main sights and restaurants. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff, particularly the Breton receptionist, was extremely helpful and professional. Great value for your money!

Stayed in a standard room which was elegantly decorated and comfortable. Staff throughout our stay were excellent. Clearly very busy, but always pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was also very good.

Nice small Hotel right in the Center of Angers

Wonderful central location with clear view of main square, but parking is a big problem, as with many ancient towns. Decor is a nightmare and toilet cubicle cramped. Staff lovely but little English spoken. Few English tourists here. Chateau and Apocalypse tapestries are marvels. Excellent restaurants abound.

The hotel gas a great location, but due to this, I was unable to park in the closest car park. The alternative was only a five minute walk. The staff were very nice and helpful. My room for one was modern with a good shower, but only one velux window which provided little cooling on a hit day with no air-con. Also didn't appreciate the bottle collection below at some indecent o'clock in the morning...

Super place to stay within an easy stroll of the centre and about 15 minutes to the chateau. The welcome was warm and the two staff members helped us cheerfully and efficiently. Currently this hotel is being renovated. Nevertheless good amenities and maintaining it's quality. Breakfast had good options and receptionists can talk English.Will recommend.

A walk from the train station but don’t get it confused with the other Hotel Mercure up the street. Get breakfast in town and don’t leave your window open if you are traveling in the summertime. Everything was really nice, checking in was easy, everything well documented and finding our room was a breeze. And the best is that the Hotel is dog friendly.

Quiet, clean, with friendly staff. The air conditioning set temperature was fixed at 24 degrees. We would have preferred cooling the room to 22 degrees just before we went to sleep, but 24 was ok.

Very convenient hotel just outside the train station, adjacent to the bus for the puy du fou and near the angers tourist attractions. Spent a night there with my mum on the way to puy du fou. The girl at reception was lovely and gave us great information on what to visit in angers. The breakfast and room were perfect.

We had a nice stay and the hotel is very clean. The receptionist is always smiling. They have a bike garaje, if you are bike touring.

We stayed in the hotel for one night while travelling by bike. Both receptionists were super friendly and attentive (5* for them). They had a special deposit for our bikes, which was great. The location is very central, you can visit everything by foot. The price was fair and the room very comfortable. Some small maintenance would be necessary, specially in the bathroom.

The reception staff were friendly and very welcoming, the bedding is great and the room clean; RAS on these points. On the other hand, beware of external AND ESPECIALLY internal soundproofing, if you book at the same time as noisy customers... Taking a hotel room in the city center on a Friday evening is not necessarily suitable for everyone.

Located on the strategic location which makes you could access the train station, city center, castle, restaurant, and bar easily. The service from the staff was very hamble. The room with a confort bed makes me convenience. The room was renovated with updated facilities and completed by guest amenities. Very well located near the train station, the royal hotel is not expensive and offers good service. With an old architecture you can easily fall in love with his interior design and simple decoration. Rooms are clean but and a little bit noisy.

This is an excellent hotel with it being the best place we stayed during our trip to France. Very nice and relaxing place. Authentic renovation with some modern touches that fit very well. Wonderful pool and views into the distance that let your mind become creative. Although there's no restaurant, we were offered a selection of smaller dishes out on the terrace. The town is also very close to the city, so getting to and from a restaurant is easy.
