The room was clean. The bathroom is neat.
There’s a staircase and elevator.
Breakfast is very nice.
Staff is very helpful, friendly.
The location is great. Just the opposite the chateau.

Despite the mixed reviews, we decided to stay in the hotel and we were charmed. The staff was incredible polite, the interior of the lobby and the room were lovely and provided every comfort, and the location is unbeatable… while its a 2star with very low rates. Definitely recommend.

Great location (right in front of Blois castle & downtown). The staff was great & really facilitated many things for us. The room could have been a bit bigger but I can't complain due to the price. Overall satisfactory stay for those who don't plan to stay long.

You get exactly what you pay for.om the most important things when you are visiting a city like Blois or using it as a based to visit other cities in the Valley.

The room was very clean, the staff is very friendly and the bedding were very comfortable and clean.
The breakfast is good, nothing outstanding, but for 9 euros you have Croissants, different bread and cereals, cheese, coffee and different jams and spreads. Also a small assortiment of ham and salami. I would have definitely appreciated some batches of eggs, however I understand that for the price the breakfast is much more than acceptable.
And last but not least, the location is unbeatable. 50 meters from the castle and 300m from the city centre. Paying parking around the corner and very easy to reach coming from the highway.

Of course the low price comes with some few downsides, my room (single room) was very small and led to the back of the building (no noise at all tho), the bathroom is even smaller and it smelled a bit like closed (nevertheless it was very well cleaned). It is definitely an old place but very well maintained and therefore, would not consider this as a big downside.

There is an elevator and the breakfast room is beautiful.
I would definitely choose it again without a doubt.

Great cozy hotel in historical building with wonderful view of the park and partly of the castle. The rooms are renovated with stylish design and modern comfortable bathroom.

The hospitable and helpful staff left the best impressions!

I will recommend this place to my friends and I will be happy to come back!

Charming little hotel for a great price, stayed here twice. Beautiful views! Right in the center city. Tourists complaining about small bathrooms haven't been to the rest of the country :) very pleasant stay.

I am pretty sure I stayed here in 1990, going by the photos. If this was the place, it was run at that time by three elderly sisters who were absolutely charming.

One manned the front desk and hosted, one cooked and one served us a wonderful breakfast and pressed our coffee at the table. I would love to know if I have the right place and if not, does anyone remember what hotel in Blois I am recalling.

I am sure those three old dears have taken their leave by now. They certainly made the most of an older hotel with true hospitality and charm and gave us an enchanted stay.
