The most beautiful hotel - the view from breakfast was the best viewpoint of our trip in Corsica. Everything was perfect.

We spent a week at La villa Calvi and it was a pure happiness. The staff is super nice and make sure you are getting everything you need. The breakfast is amazing ! We loved every single things of this hotel and will come back !

My wife and I spent 4 nights at La Villa Calvi for our honeymoon. The room was very spacious with a stunning sea/mountain view balcony. The staff, from cleaners to managers, were all excellent and were all polite and friendly. Breakfast was superb, and the food at both restaurants (the beach and the main hotel) we found delicious. True luxury.

La Villa is a contradiction , it is a five star hotel but many facets of its service are distinctly lacking . Firstly the positives - excellent location - clean and airy and modern - good spacious bright clean rooms , the house keeping staff are excellent, friendly, enthusiastic and professional - food is good , albeit I have had much better elsewhere. - the young lady running the restaurant was excellent...

Beautiful hotel, high on the hill with expansive views of the citadella, the harbor and the bay. Service was exquisite!

Once past the hotel, which during Calvi On The Rocks is uninteresting at best, hides one of the most beautiful views of Calvi City and a rather well-stocked restaurant! Delicious and well-served antipasti, hearty dishes that vary quite a bit (I much preferred the truffle pasta to the fish). And very friendly servers. I oscillate between 3 and 4* because the potential of the place deserves better, but...

Great experience at Hotel Mariana, it is fairly priced with nice amenities, and extremely close to Calvi’s attractions! I especially enjoyed the pool on the rooftop. The staff were very helpful to me as well. I was able to store my luggage while I hiked on the gr20 then was able to park for free after and they helped me retrieve an item I left after I checked out!

Perfect hotel to go We had a great spacious family room with a nice terrace. Good the bar was open near the swimming pool. (Great pool). And nice views from the pool. Friendly staff and lovely breakfast.

Beautiful, well maintained hotel near the city centre of Calvi and its beach. Big, comfortable beds, bathroom with a bad. Also the swimming pool and its terrace on the roof are very well maintained. Staff is very friendly!

Had a fantastic experience here. Allowed us to charge our electric car at a very reasonable rate. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was decent. Gave us great tips on restaurants and the location is within walking distance of the centre of Calvi. 10/10!

Excellent stay here! Our family room was very spacious with a nice view of Calvi. We had two balconies. The hotel was very comfortable and centrally located. It is a bit old and would need to be renovated (old carpeting, some old bathrooms), and we were missing a few lightbulbs, but it was still a very nice stay. Our kids loved the rooftop pool, which had a gorgeous view of the beach and the mountains...

Very nice pool at the top of the hotel looking down on the sea, and at the mountains. Great location between the town (and citadel), and the beach. Also right beside an excellent boulangerie for those who like a morning sleep in. The only (very slight!) disadvantage was a climb up a bit of a hill, which can be negotiated with shade. The staff were very helpful although there is a slight language barrier...

Great place. The Sunday brunch buffet is outstanding in terms of quality, variety, and quantity. A very helpful management with comparative pricing. Yes, English is spoken and understood.

Hotel nice. Lovely setting and view. It's a pity that Newmarket and hotel appear to have negotiated in such a way to leave group guests no menu choice for dinner, with hotel staff appearing inflexible on other matters. Our Newmarket rep (Erica) should be commended for her efforts.

The hotel surpassed our expectations, it's affordable yet shows high standards. The pool has some toys and free deck chairs, There's always a free parking space (even in the shade). The in-house rules need some clarifications: the some members of the staff are relaxed and very helpful, the elderly lady may not have the same approach.

Such a great place to stay! The staff is super attentive and helpful, the rooms are spacious and very clean. They also provide a lot of space to store luggage and clothes. The rooms have little balconies with a nice view. The pool area is very well maintained and cleaned regularly. And the breakfast offers a nice variety. WiFi works quite well and there was a little fridge in our room as well.

Nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. Staff, specially receptionists are very helpful and friendly. Pool is great. Only downside is that road is close by, so mountain view rooms on the back side are more quiet. As good as a 3 star hotel can get.

June '22 spent two nights, comfortable room, standard, nice view of mountains, bathroom could do with a fan, but nice shower. 8 minutes from the beach, 20 from Calvi. Breakfast is continental, unless you pay extra and it's good. Ask for the pastries and bread as they don't put them, saves on people handling and wasting food. Would I return, yeah if "luxury" wasn't a requirement. But value for money...

hotel is clean very good location few minutes walking to the beach ,family business and they are super friendly a very good choice if you have a motorbike or a car as they have good sealed parking area ,price is very good for the value , don't forget to try the home made figs jam very highly recommended if you visit Corsica

Very good hotel only 5 minutes by foot from Calvi beach. Rooms are nice and clean, air conditioned with a balcony where you can sit and relax. Free parking outside. Common areas are furnished with taste. The swimming pool is really nice and well decorated. Only two drawbacks: rooms are not soundproof, you can hear your neighbors do whatever they are doing, and there is no minibar. I forgot to add that...

Hôtel Mediterranée is a good price to quality hotel in Calvi. The hotel has newly renovated facilities with modern rooms that has the necessities you expect from a three star hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly and the breakfast buffet is a standard continental breakfast. Overall a satisfying hotel in Calvi.

Stylish, good breakfast but no evening eating facilities. However there are lots of lovely restaurants a short walk away. I stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking the pool. I also had a great swim in the pool.

We had a lovely experience at Campo di Fiori. The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to help us with any questions we had, things we needed for the apartment, suggestions for good local restaurants as well as helping with admin for the flight home and booking our taxi. This is definitely one of the best establishments in Balani. The rooms offer a magnificent view of the Gulf of Calvi. A very good restaurant and, above all, friendly staff, attentive and always giving good advice. Located away from the city, it offers unparalleled tranquility. The free shuttle service to the beach and port compensates for any inconvenience to pedestrians.

We struck lucky, nobody was there when it was 42°C in the shade. They let us use the pool even though we weren't residents.

We spent a wonderful two nights in this beautiful hotel next to Calvi. Although we did go into Calvi we were so spoiled with the beauty of the grounds and the quality of the staff that we ended up spending most of our time within the hotel grounds.

The location was OK but anyone with walking difficulties might struggle up the short sharp hill to get to it. Our room was small which is the main bone of contention. The breakfast was excellent. For me it was overpriced for what was delivered.

Really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. The location is perfect, right in the historical centre of Calvi. We had a family suite on the ground floor, which was large enough for our two kids (one in a cot and one on a foldout bed) and us. Great location. The receptionist was very helpful, and friendly, much more than some of the other staff. The young waiters were keen and efficient at their job. The garden / restaurant area is lovely.

Overall a great experience. Nice meal for a decent price. Went on the balcony for dinner, and the staff took really good care of us. Excellent location (5 min. walking distance to the city, supermarket 3 min. away, almost ON the beach, and small train stop right in front of the building), great view, good menu, nice decor, friendly staff - but oddly lacking a small refrigerator in the regular (non-suite) rooms.

Hotel was clean and room was a good size with a private small balcony overlooking another building. A little walk way gave you direct access to the long sandy beach and the walk into Calvi took about 10-15 minutes. There is private parking and lots of little cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

Arrived before noon and our room was already ready :) Very welcoming and helpful staff. Beach accessible in 3 minutes on foot; fine sand and turquoise water! Small flat for the rooms overlooking the path which are a bit noisy. Thank you for everything, we loved our short stay in Calvi!
