This is one of our favourite holiday gateway.
Beautiful and very calm little cottage.
Mr Michael and Madame were very kind and ensured we have always wonderful stays.
Simple however excellent breakfast by the owner.
The owner used to do wonderful dinner for the guests beside He is an excellent Chef !
I do hope one day he would consider to open the dinner table again .
We definitely will be back. Thank you to Mr and Mme Michel.

We were there for a weekend with my partner. What can I say, so many good things! EXCEPTIONAL place, the view is sublime. The suite is magnificent, the bedding is excellent and let's not talk about the decoration which is meticulously done. The delicious breakfast, only good quality products. If you want a place full of charm with a relaxing place, this is the place to go. A place where you never want to leave. The owners of this place take great care and are great. One thing to say: you deserve more than three stars!!!!

Excellent food and wine at moderate prices cooked by chef Michel, who runs this friendly Auberge with his partner Jocelyne. A quiet location to stay in the Vosges mountains with several comfortable rooms to sleep in, a dining room with outside terraces and a big garden area with local wildlife such as deer appearing. Calming and relaxing with access to good local walking or, in Winter, skiing and other Winter sports. Nearby Gerardmer is reasonably sized town with most amenities available.

If you want to be in a comfortable and peaceful place, this hotel is for you. You are close to everything but far from the crowds!
Very nice terrace for breakfast with good products and a couple of owners listening to their guests. If you come on weekends, you can taste the owner's ginger salmon tartare who unfortunately will not disclose his recipe to you (he is right!)

Very nice accomodation, large rooms, well equipped, beautifully decorated, excellent French cuisine, close to hiking/skiing tracks and city Gerardmer and first of all very kind and helpful owners
