What a wonderful hotel! The beds are huge and extremely comfortable. The view of the port is stunnimg and it's centrally located so that you're walking distance from the train station and few minutes walk from the from dozens of great nearby restaurants.
The staff is friendly and always ready to help. In fact, my wife forgot her pair of favorite earrings in the room and the manager called us to let us know. He even mailed it to us.
All in all, this will always be my first choice hotel in La Rochelle.

Lovely hotel in perfect central old port location. We stayed 2 nights in early October - suspect pool will be lovely in summer. To get to front of hotel by car, street bollards need to be lowered (phone hotel). However, a French strike/demonstration made these inactive on our arrival - we parked in the old port underground car park 500m away which is excellent.

I loved this hotel . It is centrally located with all bars, restaurants and shops no more than 5 mins . It overlooks the harbour & the rooms are noise free . The room was lovely with a huge comfortable bed. There is a fridge , safe ,wardrobe and a large walk in shower . It is a small hotel so very easy to get to know other guests .
There is a Boulangerie just down the road to the left and also St Nicholas on the road behind . The bus to the airport is less than 2 mins away.
There were some niggles such as the steps leading to the pool , or the lack of sun loungers but nothing that spoilt my stay.

Should have been closed whilst renovation hotel.
Thé hôtel will be beautiful once the renovation work has finished. Health and safety we an issue with power tool wires across the main corridor. Building work started at 8 am and went on all day. The lounge and the swimming pool were out of bounds. We managed you use the swimming pool towards the end of the stay, but if was difficult to get out without any steps.The fridge in the room hadn’t been emptied and they was smelly cold fish and chips inside when we arrived.
The staff were very helpful in trying to refund us and try to find us another hotel but last minute hotel accommodation not easy to find at short notice. In the end we decided we had no option but to stay. We did receive free breakfasts and complimentary wine to compensate for the inconvenience.

The staff was very attentive and helpful. We received detailed information via email and through the hotel booking system regarding access to the unloading area and parking recommendations. English-speaking staff made communication easy. During check-in, we found out that there were ongoing renovations at the building's entrance, which caused some inconvenience. However, I believe everything will be great once the work is completed.

Loved the hotel, perfect location and nice room. The hotel has some renovation work going on otherwise I would rate it very highly. Staff are really very nice. There are only two negatives - it is a little bit complicated to park in their car park but ok when you know how, and I would have preferred to have real cups and glasses in the room rather than flimsy paper ones which were too hot to hold to drink the coffee. Located in the harbour, walking distance around the town centre.

Stayed here for two nights for La Rochelle v Munster. The hotel is perfect. Great location right on the port with nice bars next door and walking distance to everything. The hotel is spotless with nice welcoming friendly staff. Breakfast is great as well. I would highly recommend and will definitely return. The only possible bad word I would say is that there was a smell of stale smoke in my room.

Great place to stay, right on the waterfront in the centre of town. Secure parking in an access only ,multi-story car park a few minutes walk from hotel . Great choice of breakfast, 2nd visit, highly recommended

Had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel set on the picturesque La Rochelle Marina. It is surrounded by bars and restaurants which make it the perfect location. The entrance is very welcoming with beautiful pieces of local art work and longe furniture. The reception staff, a particular mention to Pierre, very helpful and friendly, speaks great English and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are comfortable and modern, with a lovely view over the pool area, up to date aircon, wifi and the best walk in shower room. A lovely stay and will definitely be booking this hotel again. Thank you.
