RockyPop Chamonix - Les Houches

We really loved this hotel! We stayed with our 2 kids, aged 7 and 6. The rooms weren’t huge but were a great size for a family of 4. The unique layout of the room and storage shelves offered plenty of space for us to be comfortable. The location of the hotel was great with our car- close enough to all the day trips we wanted to do. Our kids loved the arcade games, playground, ping pong and computer. We loved the restaurant and the bar area. Breakfast was nice and easy, the free coffee/tea/water was also a plus. The only thing that could have been better for us was the selection in the restaurant. The only thing my kids would eat was pizza. It would have been nice to see a simple pasta or chicken dish for the kids. You also needed to book the restaurant in advance for dinner. Also not the fault of the hotel, but look out for other guests taking things. Another kid took one of our kids toys that he had brought out in the common area- never to be seen again. Also someone took our drinks that we had placed in the shared fridge with labels with our room number.

The experience in this hotel is incredible, the room is super practical with enough space for big luggage, the aircon works well, and the areas for dining and gaming are awesome I can imagine this would be such a cool place to hang out during winter sports and staff is very nice also the view is stunning! We will definitely come back again

The hotel is both charming and trendy, offering stunning views of Mont Blanc from the backyard. The kitchen is excellent, with a very good menu selection. The rooms are clean and boast nice interior design, although the ceiling height on the upper floor is rather low. However, traffic noise from the nearby road can be a disturbance in the evenings and mornings.

Excellent hotel for vacation. Good for family, sky and mountaineering. Very clean room and pop decorations. Service is good. Luckily my room is on mountain side and view from the room is something special. Definitely I will come back. Restaurant in the hotel is busy. Food is good.

Food was good, lots of fun for family and adults. Bar and games for all ages. Rooms were comfortable and unique.

The rooms were new and neat. All staff seemed friendly and location was near the ski lifts. There was also a restaurant, nice bar and lots of things for kids to do.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hospitality at the hotel was exemplary. The location, value for money and the overall concept of the hotel are definite positives. The restaurant offers tasty cuisine and the seating concept is cool. There is enough within the hotel to keep guests entertained. The bartender is really courteous. We didn't like one of our cocktails and he offered us a replacement completely free of charge. The gin mojito he made was exquisite. The staff is courteous and helping. The free water is such a nice touch. So convenient because everybody needs to drink water. It is a travesty that other hotels charge for water. The location is perfect. You are in Chamonix within 6-8 minutes. It is next to motorway where you can easily access nearby areas like Megève,Mt. Blanc tunnel to Italy including Turin, Geneva, etc. The rooms are small yet cosy with enough space for a family of 4. Great space design and utilization. If and when we return to Chamonix and if there is availability we will surely book RockyPop!

Some areas to improve:
1. Better breakfast
2. More dish options in the restaurant
3. Larger rooms

Visiting in the summer is worth every penny. I booked online and thought I had a great price. However, when I extended my stay at the front desk it was 25% cheaper and included breakfast. Defiantly stop by the front desk if you get a chance.

Great hotel, enjoyed staying here and great for kids. Rooms are on the smaller side but kids loved the bunk beds.
