Golden days

Our stay at this hotel left much to be desired. Hidden charges quickly soured the experience, such as the €40 fee for air conditioning, which barely worked. It felt hotter with it on. The optional breakfast is also not worth it, as you can easily find better and cheaper options from local eateries in town.

The rooms were underwhelming. While the beds were passable, the AC was practically useless, and the fridge failed to function properly. The bathroom, however, was the biggest disappointment. A sign above the toilet instructed guests not to flush toilet paper, which was both inconvenient and unhygienic. The shower was average, but it lacked basic amenities like a towel for stepping out, leaving guests to fend for themselves.

As for the service, while the staff wasn’t outright unpleasant, it was clear they were more focused on squeezing every euro out of guests rather than ensuring a comfortable stay.

On a positive note, the pool was enjoyable and quiet, the hotel’s location is convenient. It’s close to bars, restaurants, and the main road leading to nearby cities, making it a decent base for exploring the area. Unfortunately, the positives couldn’t outweigh the numerous issues we encountered.

Stayed for 2 weeks, room wasn't very clean, bathroom very old, always smelled, bin wasn't emptied till 3rd day, had to keep asking for toilet rolls,bed was changed twice, hotel doesn't do food only toasties or continental breakfast, not much entertainment or atmosphere, we went to this hotel for over 20years, it was amazing,has different owners we will certainly not be returning ever, it's very sad

by far the worst hotel of my life, a lie being sold online. We rented two rooms but to our surprise only one was available and they gave us two excuses, one that it was a renovation problem and the other that they didn't have time to make the final adjustments to the room, amazingly, we were offered drinks instead of the room. To make matters worse, I will list the mistakes: filthy and clogged bathroom, towels that looked like floor cloths (detail of the towel, when we requested a change, we were told that it was not possible, only every three days, which also did not happen), on my fourth we found a spider the size of a tennis ball, the bed linen was dirty and stained, the pillow looks like a feather, the room was not cleaned during the 8 days we stayed, only the bed was stretched out. the Hotel sells itself as quiet, which is a false lie, and extremely noisy, parties every day. On the day of checkout I was informed that I would have to leave at 11. in satisfaction with the room they gave us, anyway, DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL, don't stay at this hotel, don't stay at this hotel. |

Unfriendly manager had to pay €49 for a eircom which rattled all night small scruffy beds thin lining curtains some peace through all night would not recommend this hotel to anybody
