Where to stay in Afantou

Friendly family hotel, great value and fun! Excellent entertainment and offerings throughout the day. A lovely shop located inside the hotel which has everything and at a very good price. Would recommend to families and couples to visit this place. Located near a beautiful beach, which we used daily.

We have just had a weeks stay at the hotel and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We are a family of 3 and found that there was plenty to do for adults and children (although our 8 year old daughter never attended the kids club). The food and drinks are very good and the beds are comfortable. The Animators Zak, Elsa and Tegan are very nice and they made the holiday very fun. A family run hotel on the outskirts of Afantou village. Not far away from the beach and the golf course. There is Panagiotas supermarket in 2 minutes walk away for any shopping you might need during your stay. Friendly staff and lovely owner Isabel.

All round our trip was amazing however we were hit with a €70 charge at checkout which was a €10 tax on the room for each night, we were not made aware of this when booking or at check in so please be aware before booking.

I recently stayed at Afandou Bay Resort Suites and had an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The buffet was extensive and delicious, offering a great variety of options. A special thanks to Ms. Mary at the reception for her exceptional service and kindness. Plus, the beach is just a short walk away from the hotel!

A really nice experience in a clean and comfortable resort, with very friendly staff, eager to help you and make your stay an enjoyable experience (special thanks to Mary in the reception❤️). It is close to the seaside, walking distance of like 2mins. If you don't intend on renting a car, have in mind that taxi service won't be easy to find, especially in the night.

Staff were amazing for example, we showed up late (2 AM) yet the gentleman at reception make us a meal as we hadn't eaten for hours. The rooms are worse. We got transferred to there because the other hotel needed some water repairs. The AC didn't give cold air, the mini frigider was not even good we put food and water in itt. The outside of the mini frigider was hot and the INSIDE TOO. At least the staff was very good with us. The outside pool was good, but little for me.

Before I process this review I really want to make staff aware of the lovely white cat that gets fed by hotel staff has hurt its leg and think needs some medical attention, this really worried me and I am a lover of cats also. My family came to stay here a few years ago and we had an absolutely incredible time. The location isn't ideal as there isn't too much to do outside of the grounds (a bus stop is right outside however) but the actual hotel, pool and facilities are brilliant. A special mention to the staff who, at the time; were absolutely fabulous.

Best staff in Greece! Family style hotel. You have to feel the atmosphere and after that you keep coming back. Five times for me now. Ask for special meals a day ahead and they will cook you the best food in Greece!

Pool closes at 6pm. I like to swim when it's not so hot in the day. Breakfast was good. Rooms were facing west, so in the morning very bright heard to sleep.

We seriously love this place and make sure to return every year for at least a week or two. The apartments are older, but spotlessly clean and well kept. The main appeal is how calm and remote this place is, quiet, with just the sound of wind, seawaves and gorgeous seaview. The owners are really nice people too :)

We decided this time to come for Lunch here. The food was good and they were big portions but the service is very slow. Long waiting time until we get the Menu, then long until we can order and another long time until the food arrives :( quite annoying if you want to spend as much time as possible at the beach.

A fantastic, calm, homely and peaceful stay in the most tranquil and peaceful part of Rhodes, away from mass tourism. The hosts are kind and hospitable, prices absolutely fair. Self catering apartments with aircon, fridge, private bathroom and a great view. Private parking. At less than 20 meters from the beach.

L'appartamento è meraviglioso, comodo, silenzioso. È dotato di tutti i confort,lavatrice, lavastoviglie e aria condizionata. Pulitissimo e accogliente. Si trova nel centro di Afandou che offre negozi e alimentari. Taxi e bus a poca distanza a piedi. Utile però avere una auto per muoversi e visitare l'isola.abbiamo passato una ottima vacanza! Die Lage ist perfekt, Supermarkt und Tavernen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Haus ist sehr ansprechend eingerichtet und Dominique war jederzeit für uns erreichbar und hat sich auch bei der Abreise sehr gut gekümmert. Parkplätze waren auch immer ausreichend vorhanden. Besonders schön fanden wir, dass es nicht der übliche Touristen-Hotspot war.
