My friends and I stayed at Anezina Hotel & Village for a week in October. We had an awesome time and loved joining in the Greek night and cooking class. The morning breakfasts were delicious, relaxing and we especially enjoyed being able to eat outside on the warmer mornings. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcomed and at home. The hotel rooms were simple, beds were comfortable and location to a market, coffee shop, local bus stop and beaches was perfect. I highly recommend staying at Anezina Village!

This night cooking with Maria was just AWESOME. My mom and I still talk about it as one of our favorite memories from our entire time in Greece. From the moment we walked into her gorgeous outdoor kitchen, we felt instantly at ease — like we were stepping into a friend’s home rather than a class. The space is warm, authentic, and so thoughtfully created for connection… and yes, the generous wine didn’t hurt either.

Maria has a gift. She teaches in a way that feels like storytelling — mixing culture, technique, and heart in every step. We made everything by hand, and she encouraged us to really feel the food as we cooked. There were so many small touches (including the sweet aprons!) that made the night feel curated and special.

We ended up laughing so much with the group of strangers we cooked with that it felt like we’d known them for years. And the food… absolutely delicious. But honestly, it was the atmosphere that stayed with us. It was warm, joyful, and full of genuine hospitality.

What meant the most is that her generosity didn’t end when the night did. She shared a full set of recipes afterward — far more than what we cooked together — and it felt like she was sending us home with a piece of her kitchen.

We even finished the night with a traditional Greek dance under the stars. It was such a beautiful way to end an evening that already felt unforgettable.

If you’re thinking about booking this experience, just do it. It’s soulful, personal, and easily one of the most special things we did on our trip. Highly recommended from both me and my mom.

A beautiful setting in the SE corner of Paros. A car is helpful to explore the surrounding areas. You can walk to the beach. Many resorts and restaurants were closed by October 20. The Greek cooking class is lots of fun and highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Anezina Village. It was a small, family run place and felt very safe and friendly. They have a nice cooking class and a Greek buffet meal , in addition to a restaurant. The village is not on a beach, but a short walk to the shore and about a 30 min walk to Golden beach. It is located in a very small town, with only a couple of cafes and restaurants, though we were there after the busy season. There is a bus stop right near the village. It was very quiet and peaceful. Our unit was clean and cozy. it was about a 30 min drive to the larger towns. Many natural sites and small beaches nearby. Beautiful!

We were made welcome from the moment we arrived at Anezina Village. With it's winding paths and numerous trees and colourful shrubs we felt an immediate affection for our Village. Our apartment, one of only 17 in the Village, was a one bedroom ground apt with another unit above us which had no guest while we were there. Our apartment was open and spacious with a well equipped kitchen, large bedroom with lots of clothes storage and a comfortable queen size bed. There was one step up from the living area to the bedroom and bathroom. The living area had a good sized kitchen table and two large couches, perfect for afternoon siestas. We front and back patios which offered shade or sun whichever you preferred. There was also a tv which offered only Greek channels so if you decide to download some movies or shows ahead of time, check with Anezina before hand to see if you need to bring an HDMI cable. We had a great time at the weekly Greek night dinner when we first arrived and it gave us an opportunity to meet some of the other guests, some of whom we developed a warm friendship over the week. Loads of fun taking Anezina's cooking class where we participated in the preparation of a full six course meal then feasted on our efforts. Again, met some wonderful travelers. Anezina is right around the corner from a very good market offering a great variety of food and drink including a delicatessen, fresh baking and produce making it easy to prepare some or all of your own meals. One thing to note, like Italy and Spain, many stores in Greece close in the afternoon for 'siesta' and that is the case with the market but it is open late when it reopens. There are many shops and restaurants within close walking distance as well as a lovely beach. There is plenty of parking if you chose to rent a car/moped/ATV. We chose to rent a car which allowed us to explore many areas of Paros. If we are lucky enough to travel back to Greece, we would definitely stay at Anezina Village again.

We did the group cooking class with Maria and the crew! It was THE BEST THING WE DID IN PAROS!! The staff was so nice and so much fun. You will laugh, smile and make memories that you’ll never forget. Even if you’re shy, they will make you feel like you’re at home and cooking in the kitchen with your family. We cooked 6 different dishes in 3 hours. Most of their classes sell out so email to book about 2-4 weeks before if you’re able to ensure you can get in!

The cooking class is amazing. Worth the trip and every cent. Maria and her staff are brilliant.

We stayed at this beautiful village for a week and loved every minute of it. It is exactly what I picture when I think of Greece. It is a bit rustic, but quaint. The owner and staff make it seem like home and felt like family by the end of the week. It is not luxurious, but it is clean. They have a nice pool and Greek Night is something you should not miss.

We did the Anezina village Greek night. An amazing evening. Food was plentiful and every dish was so tasty. The traditional Greek dancing was also fun. Highly recommend
